Chipotle earns 5 stars for serving non GMO foods! Extra points for no hormones or antibiotics in the meat! High five for being fast and easy! Seriously, MAJOR kudos to a chain that can rock it while being responsible and ethical about where they source their ingredients. It's not fancy, it's not gourmet, but it IS delicious and non GMO... how many chains out there care that much?! Chipotle even hosted a festival to educate people about clean eating! I read some of the other review and see the complaints people are having about waiting in excessively long lines. I have been there at a time when I had to wait in line, but it wasn't for terribly long. Fortunately, my experiences have been good ones. They could stand to have more help available. I have to agree that Chipotle has some of the best burritos around up here. I prefer Moe's but there aren't any Moe's up here so Chipotle it is. Who'd've thunk a place with burritos that good is owned by McDonalds? BTW it's more fun if you pronounce it Chi-pot-uhl. read more

Line is out both doors and the staff is moving like molasses!!!! They're lucky they work for chipotle and the food is so amazing that everyone doesn't walk out the door, although more than a few have. Maybe next time it'll be better. Disappointed. Something is drastically different with their pico de gallo. A couple months ago it changed. It is not nearly as fresh. Almost like they get it from a supplier and not cutting it fresh. Or if they've always gotten it from a supplier, it changed from them. Bummer! read more

Waited in line 25 minutes at 7pm. Service was slow, as staff had time to chat together as the line went out the door. Food was cold, literally scrapping the bottom of bibs for food and portions were smaller than small, like they had no more food. No apology offered on the wait or service and no discount either when asked. But incorrectly charged on an item and fought me over it. I will Never go back. Terrible service. I love chipotle but this is the slowest location i have ever been to. We waited in line for 45 min at 7:30 on a Sunday, it looked like someone was being trained in and the girl at the cash register could not multitask....if its that busy there should be someone else to take phone orders. They had one person in back cooking food who was also the person in charge of cleaning so really nothing was getting accomplished, and almost all the meat was burnt. And on a very important allergen note. Its really important when a restaurant has an allergen menu that they are very aware of cross contamination. I am extremely allergic to dairy and i normally like chipotle because i know what i can or can not eat. But at this location after i got to the extras...tomatoes, salsa, corn, i could not eat anything. There was cheese dropped in everything in that whole area. If you have an allergy to any food i would not eat here ever. It doesn't seem like they care at all. Or bring an epi pen. read more

Spent all day at the Mayo without an opportunity to eat , made an online order so I wouldn't have to stand in line . Order wasn't even close to right once picked up. Called to talk to a manger who didn't seem eager to correct the mistake . Wanted us to wait in the line that I originally tried to avoid when I placed my order 40 minutes ago to pick up the correct order. After an hour was no longer hungry . I normally love going to this location, but tonight was utterly despicable. I'm not just saying that to be mean. The first person who gets the tortilla and rice kept touching her face and hair with her gloves. So we asked her to change them. Then she touched her face again before touching my food! The second one gave her boss attitude when he politely reminded her I wanted a side of mild. I get if you're short staffed and new, but food hygiene and a respect for your boss isn't hard to do! I have eaten at this Chipotle probably 30 times before tonight and it was always decent. Yes the lines are almost always long, but the service has been good and normally it would rate about 3.5 stars, but not tonight. We arrived to a long line, usually not a big deal. Tonight it took 45 minutes from just inside the door to the point we ordered. They had two people working the line and someone at the register on and off. So strike one, not enough staff. Next the food was unusually bland and the meat was cold be the time we paid for it. The chicken had flavorless, the steak wasn't even spicy, and the white rice didn't have any cilantro. Strike two, the food was sub standard. When we went to sit down, every table had trash and bits of food on them. Plus since they were out of clean baskets, they collected some dirty ones from above the trash and we watched them wipe it once with a rag and then pass them for use. Strike three, dirty. Overall this was the worst Chipotle experience of my life. We should have gone to the south location or not at all. read more

I placed an online order, when I came in they were obviously way understaffed. I had to wait a few minutes for my order, no big deal, I have to say that the woman that was running the line was so overwhelmed but she did an amazing job, she simultaneously was dealing with online orders and the line that was almost out of the door, apologized to some very rude customers, and was very gracious in giving me my (totally correct) order. I love Chipotle and whoever the supervisor was on 12/31/16 at about noon deserves a customer compliment in my book. Waited in line for 25 minutes to finally see a small sign at the ordering window that says you have no carnitas!! And the line should move a little faster when you have 10 employees on the line! I've been to hundreds of Chipotles all across the country and this is by far the WORST location, bar none. I travel for work and over the years, I've been to this location 3-5 times. Tonight was a sad reminder that just further confirms this is the worst chipotle on the planet. The place is always filthy and the staff seems to always be completely incompetent. I'm not one to expect perfection, this place reminds me of the kids birthday section at chucky cheeses. They ran out of fajitas tonight and one dumb black kid and another short chubby white kid just stood there clueless. Meanwhile a lady behind me wanted tacos and the black kid holds up two shells and says this is all that's left. I then ask if the cook is going to make any fajitas, and the chubby white kid drops a tub of pinto beans into its slot and it splatters everywhere. Again, they just both look back at the cook. I've eaten at chipotle probably over 1000 times so I know the drill when they run out of stuff. The announce it to the cooks! Not here! Just a bunch of incompetent employees that don't know what they are doing nor do they care. I needed up just telling them forget it and walked out. Go to the other location in town. There food is good, but their service is slow and most of the time its because the staff is so busy talking amongst themselves and not the customers. I had a burrito bowl and told the girl I did not want sour crème but she didn't hear me because she was busy goofing around with co-worker, so I told her again that I did not want sour crème that she would have to start over, she literally threw my bowl on the counter behind her, gave me a big angry sigh and began making it again. I felt like it was my fault that she messed up. Haven' t been back since. To bad because I like the freshness of their food and that they are going organic on some products. read more

Note: this is my broad review of the total body of experience I have had eating at various Chipotle restaurants. I am a regular consumer and fan of Chipotle's burritos and have had a mostly positive experience eating there. The quality and freshness are as close to first rate as fast food that also manages to provide large enough portions to ensure you never leave hungry. The value is good enough in my mind to warrant bi-weekly excursions for burrito bowls topped with their complimentary chipotle tabasco sauce. Branch review: One thing I appreciate about Chipotle is that for the majority of their restaurants I can safely expect a consistent experience where the portions are almost always equal or close to it and the freshness and quality of ingredients only gets as bad as having to settle for the scrapings of the bottom of the container that leads to the least fresh and most fragmented bits of ingredient. However, this location is the only location that I have seen regular deviation from regular portion size. And they fail to even pretend that they have a clean "assembly line" with bits and pieces of burrito strewn haphazardly up and down its length. It can understand that small amounts of food are going to end up falling to the counter, but they just seem to ignore that it's there and don't seem to care that it looks lazy and unsafe. It is the only location where I have seen workers on break budge in front of a line of customers that extends to the door while one person tries to run the entire burrito building process. They are poorly managed and don't hide the fact that they aren't willing to put forth the effort to provide even the most basic forms of guest service. But worst of all, they consistently scrimp me on the portion size of meat and rice. I can accept that I've been spoiled by the consistently solid guest service most Chipotle stores provide. It's far more consistent than any other fast food provider. So really their uncharacteristically poor service is no worse than what should be realistically expected from low wage workers at a fast food restaurant. I can also forgive the fact that they are they aren't as clean as I'm used to their establishments being. By making their ingredient stations so visible they are demonstrating their confidence in the freshness and liberal portion allowances they are known for as well as ensuring that we are satisfied with the quality and quantity of ingredients being used and giving us opportunity to express any dissatisfaction with any ingredient so that it can be immediately adjusted to meet out needs. We may see more than we want to with that degree of openness. It is inexcusable to manipulate portion size to increase profit margin while simultaneously diminishing the value their customers have come to appreciate and expect from them. Of the two Rochester locations, this is the obvious B location that is to be avoided at all costs. Even though I live within a couple of miles of the north location, I forgo the convenience and drive 5 extra miles to go to the far superior Crossroads location. If you're passing through town and are craving Chipotle, it's worth noting that not all locations are created equal especially in the case of the sub-par Hwy 52 North location. Take the extra time and go to the south broadway branch. read more
