First impression... 10 people working this evening and 10 bowls have been made in the past 15 minutes. Not sure if they're training this evening, but we have experienced this multiple times at this location unfortunately. My kiddo loves this place, so we continue to go back. I've stopped getting food for myself as that means an even slower line for everyone else. 50% of the employees are working while 50% are talking, laughing and standing around. Another occasion, they made my bowl unbelievably spicy to the point I couldn't eat it, so it was a throw away scenario. It's challenging to sit, because the dining room is constantly filled with people standing in line. The photo taken was after 20 minutes in line.... Still waiting... Ultimately, it was a 30 min wait. It dramatically sped up when a young tall thin man with black hair and a young thin woman with braided hair came to the line. They were superstars and serviced 10 customers in less than 5 minutes.... We are regulars for having Chipotle and it's typically good with an exception here and there. This was our second time ordering from the Saratoga Springs location and 2 of the 3 bowls were barely edible. My steak bowl had the worst overcooked extra hard beef. Completely wrecked the entire bowl. My daughter had many hard chunks of rice in her bowl. My wife had the chicken and that was fine, she doesn't add much rice. Just thought people should know. If you go there, eat there so you can at least have a chance to get a bad meal corrected. read more

I reeeallly hate that I have to write this review but I know I have to. Well, I'd like to start off with the attitudes that every person had putting my food together. From the girl at the tortilla press to the girl putting the salsa. Every single one of them were miserable. The only 2 girls who were nice were the 2 who checked us out, they were smiling & actually liked their job. Then, I'd like to talk about my daughter's thin, hard, BURNT quesadilla. What in the world? Morgan was the worst cashier. Poor customer service. Charged me for a chicken bowl and forgot to add the guac and queso when she originally charged me. Then proceeded to charge me again for a side of each queso and guac which after doing the math she OVER charged me and I ended up paying $19 total for a chicken bowl with a small bag of chips. The bowl was hardly filled with rice or chicken. Severely disappointed and will never return. Wishing them the kind of inconvenience they've earned. I don't know who was doing the catering orders but they were super fast and were doing their best to fulfill pickup orders. I don't know her name but I think she had a braid and the hat and kept reassuring me my order will be ready soon. Considering there were two catering orders I totally understand why my order was later and she was so sweet. I hope she gets recognition because she was literally doing her fastest to fulfill the orders. I kind of feel for the team only 4 people working a heavy lunch load of people dining and ordering online. I can see why there is going to be a location deeper in Saratoga. Thanks Chipotle however you should hire more employees. I go to the Queensbury Wendy's vice the one's in Saratoga/Wilton because the staffing is full and the food is made well. There was a kid at the door with a paper sign saying "closed"....only the remaining online orders could be allowed entry for pickup. Change your hours officially or do business with paying customers. It was supposed to have a certain set of ingredients, missed the vast majority of them and then added random other stuff I had not ordered. Very disappointed. Chipotle is usually one of my safe places but this was down right disgusting. it was packed. i ordered two bowls, a burrito and chips and queso. my order was just thrown into the bag where the bowl was completely crushed and leaking onto everything. I let it go because sometimes you can't help that. but the food was disgusting. my husband wanted to throw out the bowl that was leaking because it was his bowl but we paid about 50 dollars in food so I told him it should be fine he spent the evening throwing up his guts. we got food poisoning from this place. read more

I just stopped by today, October 9th, 2024 at the Wilton, NY location on Rt 50. First, they stated they only had two options for meat and what they had seemed old. Second, my daugter ordered me a side guac with chips. The chips were horribly stale. I asked for another bag and the girl handed me another bag from the top where they have bags and these too were stale and disgustingly oily with oil dripping off the chips. I ordered two bowls, one chicken one veg. The person helping me was efficient and got my order made quickly. However when I got to the register the cashier was unable to figure out why my free side of guac would not come off the bill. I scanned the coupon and my member number too. He asked the manager to assist and she proceeded to tell me that the coupon scanned would not come off cause I got guac as a topping in my chicken bowl and not as a side. I then told her that I could show her the email from guac mode Chipotle sent to me stating I could get a free side or topping of either guac or cheese queso. She then told me in a huff she would refund me the $2.85 as if I was in the wrong. Additionally she charged me for a chips and guac then did an override on my total to remove it.When I pointed that out to her she made no comment. I just drove from Eagle Mountain to Chipotle in SS. Picked up the order and drove home. The WHILE ORDER WAS WRONG!!!! PAID OVER $60. Chicken tacos has NO White sauce and we paid for extra. This place will make you sick! Literally! And the service is garbage! I wouldn't eat at this chipotle location again if you paid me!

Every time we order online for pickup, it's usually flawless. The food itself is always fresh and flavorful and tastes great. When we eat in, little different story. Food is still great, staff is great, but the tables are always usually dirty and kind of makes you not want to eat there and just take it to go instead. Customers could at least clean up their mess themselves if they are that gross with their eating habits or have kids that trash the table but considering most people are lazy these days and expect everyone else to clean up their messes, the staff could check on them from time to time or at very least leave stuff out in the open for people to clean the tables if absolutely necessary before they sit down. Only real complaint honestly and it's more geared towards the messy people that leave their mess behind when they leave. read more

The absolute worst Chipotle I've ever been to and I've eaten in a few. No flavor to the rice and it was a dry clump, meat was dry and tasteless and the amount of serving was very small. Chipotle is a national burrito chain specializing in fresh natural ingredients. This is apparently their first NY store outside of NYC... way to go with the demographics, Saratoga! The fare is standard middle of the road burrito options (no tongue or brains for you here) prepared fresh to your directions. If you like hot sauce ask them to really hit it, otherwise your burrito is going to be a bit mild. And grab a bag of tortilla chips--they are made fresh on the premises and have an extra zing, perhaps from a squirt of lime juice and cayenne. What sets Chipotle apart is their commitment to using natural ingredients and humanely raised meat products, such as Niman Ranch pork. Their founder, Steve Ells, has serious foodie credentials. The rumor that Chipotle is owned by McDonalds has a basis in fact: the Golden Arches folks did hold an interest at one point but they had an amicable parting and Chipotle is now a public company. Three stars for a solid burrito, plus a bonus star for Chipotle's commitment to good husbandry practices. P.S. Bonus feature for students of Wilton Mall's byzantine traffic flow schemes: a left turn lane out of the parking lot! Which means that, instead of taking a tour of the nether regions of the mall, you can simply turn left onto 50 and go back into town. read more

I lobbied the family for a stop in at Chipotle on the way back from a camping trip around Lake George. Driving over 30 minutes for a Chipotle burrito seemed just a bit too far. But making the 10 minute detour on the way home is perfectly reasonable. It felt like coming home again. Honestly, the default build of the Chipotle burrito is 2* food. When you ask for just two tablespoons of rice, just enough to help soak up the bean juices, the food rockets up to 3*. But Chipotle gets the bonus * for its use of humanely raised and slaughtered animals. And as a bonus, this location gets happy meat for all of its options (supply issues mean that some stores do not have happy beef). I get Carnitias (pork), two tablespoons of rice, pinto beans, tomatillo salsa and a little bit of cheese. Their flour tortillas are really tasty. Their rice is really criminal. It sucks all the flavor out of a burrito. Sometimes to mix it up, I'll get the Barbacoa with black beans, hot salsa and a little bit of cheese. For as difficult as I am on Chipotle, it runs circles around Moe's. I had been eating Moe's periodically because it scratched the itch. But now I have one less reason to go there. We were starving driving home from VT this weekend and my boyfriend and I are chipotle obsessed so I looked on yelp for the nearest location and this was it! As we walked in we noticed a huge line that was formed but it moved fast and efficiently. I was surprised to see a location that served alcohol so that was pretty cool. Margaritas and coronas galore! As we waited in line we got closer and closer and all I could notice was how well all of the workers here listened and put together your food like a work of art instead of the usual un-drained beans and sloppy presentation you get back at home by me. I ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla and asked for a little bit of corn to be in it as well. The woman behind the counter made my quesadilla and offered me a side of sour cream of salsa. Usually when you order a quesadilla it takes a little longer being they have to press and crisp it and they usually ask you to come grab it from the front with it never being cut and a complete mess. NOT THIS PLACE! They brought my order to my table cut into the perfect 4 slices and made it so much easier to eat! Everything was made with such care and attention to detail and yes I am talking about a Chipotle franchise! I wish more chipotles around me made their food with such care.. This Chipotle is representative of the chain, but I have this quality versus quantity issue with them (I mean the chain in general). I give them mad props for their focus on quality ingredients, and I understand that sometimes you have to pay a little extra for that. I personally don't feel like paying an additional $2.05 (plus tax) for a scoop of guacamole in my burrito, or roughly the same for chips and salsa. I did like my burrito, and I was pleased with the chips and salsa; the chips were light, and the salsa, medium, had more kick than any other medium salsa at the other fast food Mexican chains. But I'm used to a salsa bar, I like a lot of salsa with my meal, and am I more satisfied with an unlimited quantity of a lesser quality salsa? This particular Chipotle is large and clean with adequate, though uncomfortable, seating. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Shortly after I sat down to eat, a large number of people came in, and the line continued to move smoothly, so they know how to handle a crowd. This also tells me folks like this Chipotle better than the Moe's across the street (and I agree). But I'd also like to see my local favorite, Hot Harry's, open a franchise in Saratoga, to see how it fares in comparison, and you can all watch me spin on my quality vs. quantity thing all over again. read more

Downloaded yelp just to write this review. The workers messed up my mobile order of one burrito not once, not twice, but 4 times. I bit into the wrong burrito as I was already on the road, and it was full of tomatoes and crap I didn't even order. Workers looked annoyed at me for their own mistake. The part that really pissed me off was that they never once apologized about the situation. Also, this place is always closed way before 10 probably because the workers don't care about Jack shit. It's sometimes very messy, and yep, got food poisoning on only my third time eating at this location. Approximately 10-12 hours after eating lunch I vomited and had diarrhea. I don't understand how hard it is to just cook the meat thoroughly. There has got to be a way to ensure that. That and washing hands. This should be easy. I am very reluctant to return (to this location), after being a regular Chipotle customer for 3+ years (At other locations with no issues). Second time I have come to this location at 7:45pm. Both times I have stood in line for 50 minutes. The crew is swamped with online orders and can not keep up. During the day they have a side station to do online orders. This is not open at night and is causing a huge backup. Simple fix is conducting Buisness like they do during the day. read more

I ordered from Chipotle in Schenectady and Saratoga Springs. The food in Schenectady was excellent. My favorite was the Burrito Bowl. I. Ordered it and there was almost nothing in the bowl. This was deffinalty my most fave place for quesadillas now. If you are on a whole 30 you can order a salad with carnitas , pick, green salsa, guac and lettuce. Mix it all up and devour because it is tasty. Ask for extra or make it a double if you're starving. After researching online we were able to verify that the ingredients are whole 30 compliant! This is delicious even if you aren't on a whole 30. Order this as a burrito if you aren't.
