I haven't ate from chipotle in about six years and I decided to give it a try because I'm new to the area and I was very hungry. I went to get food at about 8:40 PM. My rice was not fully cooked. The chicken was awful.. so I literally just made everything awful. I went back to get my money and let the manager know what was going. It's like he didn't want me to speak to let him know what was going on and how I felt and why I wanted my money. He was trying to give me back less than what I paid after. I showed him what came out of my account!!! He was talking to me like I was the problem telling me don't talk to him like that and I really wasn't talking to him rude! James needs to be trained correctly or replace replaced!!! The atmosphere was not pleasing!! Used to be one of my favorites in the area but has gone downhill. Latest visit, it's 8p and line is about eight deep. By the time I get to order they advise there is no brown rice. And none being made because they ran out. So the only option is white for the night. That made me change from my desired bowl to a burrito. How does a place with two bases for one of their most popular entrees run out of brown rice three hours before they close? The chicken is good. But the burrito was so poorly structured because they were rush loading the wet ingredients without straining them. This was probably because of the long line but the result is a poor quality wet shell and inside a ton of liquid dripping all over the place. They were also out of guacamole. Again, how does that happen at a Mexican establishment? Also ordered tortilla chips and salsa. The quantity is a joke. They used to give you a fair amount you could split with another. Looking at the picture I wondered if there were 20 full chips. And the small container of mild salsa was also full of water and quickly ran out. If you are going to charge for chips and salsa at a Mexican place, where these are historically free, you better ensure there is plenty. Next it was on to the drink machine. There is only one and it is completely out of ice. So back to the register where I had to wait for two transactions before another lady asked what I needed. She had to go into the back to get a cup of ice. The restaurant is dirty. No one cleaning tables. Food and waste is all over the floor. Some food by outside tables looks like it's been there for a week. Most tables were dirty. The trash can outside was overflowing. Someone was emptying cans as we left but this should've been done an hour ago (as should the ice been refilled). Whoever is managing this place isn't doing a very good job. One excuse I heard them telling another customer was earlier today they had a big catering order for lunch. Not a good excuse seven hours later. read more

My family and I love chipotle and usually have a good experience. My mom, cousin, and I decided to stop in at this location on the way home. I understand it was close to closing time but there were still 40 minutes until then. The customer service was not good and we weren't acknowledged for a good minute. Mind you helping us out when we first walked in would've gotten us out faster so the staff could finish their closing duties. The gentleman the eventually came over to help us (after being ignored by another staff member) made the food very sloppily. His attention was on goofing around with I'm assuming some friends or perhaps some coworkers on their day off. Overall just a strange experience. read more

I just came to say, don't order delivery. Every single time I've ordered delivery they do not deliver good food. Today I ordered Uber eats and it was the coldest, driest burrito I've ever had. The chicken was old and tough. I also ordered double meat and it was not giving double meat. I'd recommend going in so you can at least see what's going on lol. read more

I read the poor reviews and went anyway. That's on me. It was horrible. They closed at 11, I arrived around 9:30 - everything was cold, bland, the rice was undercooked, and they were incredibly stingy with the toppings (which isn't unusual, I often have to say "a little more...a little more....MORE"). But whatevs, it was horrible, and my fault, so what can I say? They need to do better, but also people should stop going there. Everyone had an attitude. Major thumbs down. read more

It's been a couple of years since I'd been here but when I was working at FedEx there was always a girl there waiting for me and she would personally walk my pick up order out to me. She did a great job at making me feel welcome and the atmosphere was always lovely and comforting. I was a regular here because of this experience. Food was not made correctly, Manager on duty was extremely nasty and rude. Used racial slurs towards myself and my husband. We even offered to pay what was incorrect with the order. He told me NO. So I said let me get my husband so I could get the additional money. He REFUSED, he called us Stupid As Bros, Stupid as Kids, and I told him to stop calling us names. He kept on. Last night was my first visit to a Chipotle store. Ambiance: Thank god we ordered take out because there was a pair of toddlers training their lungs for long distance underwater swimming. Service: The crew was friendly and efficient constructing our Burrito Bowls Food. The hot salsa I asked for overpowered the ingredients, so I'm not sure how everything tasted. Next time I will ask for Medium Salsa and Salsa Verde on the side. I imagine the burrito bowl would have been much improved had the food been hot (temperature). We are getting three meals apiece due to the generous portion size. Tell you more next time. read more

I hate to leave a negative review but I keep seeing a trend out of this location... they will shake the meat off of the spoon to give 1/3 or 1/2 of a spoonful. As the Angry Video Game Nerd would say... pure ASSSSSSSS! After seeing Dr Strange 2, I wanted to actually go for something different. I usually go to the "left" side and get Taste of NY Pizza or Moe's, but I was feeling capricious and went right. Westshore Pizza doesn't even have pizza by the slice. It must be why their interior dining space is growing tumbleweeds. I left. I went to "Ho King" which sounds like Boon's online dating profile name. That looked like the standard Chinese food place so PASS. I was left with Chipotle by default. When I walk in, I see napkins strewn around on the floor as if it was Acropolis. The next thing I see is 3 soda flavors being out and then pinto beans being out. That's a bit much for a chain place, but I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. The metal trays which house the various meat/veggies/rice all had some food spilled into other trays. I usually get a bowl at Chipotle to fill me up. I settled on barbacoa. I added pico, medium salsa(brown like me), corn, lettuce, cheese, and cilantro rice. While half of the workers are working, the other half are carrying on like its a nightclub. I'm not a gulag proponent, but these workers were taking it too lightly. It's as if Deadpool cloned himself and got them to work. Most of the bowls pre-Covid were between $7-8. Now they're $8.50-$10. MY meal was $10 before tax. I looked at my cup of water longingly like a lifer looks at a prison wall. The actual bowl looked ok, but there is more than meets the eye. The barbacoa was stone cold. The rice was 25% undercooked as I ground my molars on crunchy rice grains. I could discern NO taste of cilantro in the rice which was sad. When I first had Chipotle 12 years ago, I felt the medium salsa had some flavor; this time it was insipid. The funny thing is there were almost a dozen people lining up after me. New Tampa on Sunday is a desert town, and I suppose something is better than nothing. I would have done better just going to my usual. I have been here twice. The first time went in and ordered at the counter and it took a very very long time to even get through the line. I consider this fast food, but they definitely were not working quickly. The second time I ordered online and picked up and that was a good experience. It was ready as soon as I got there, and in the time that I was quoted. They do give you a good portion of food, the chicken is a little bit spicy. Overall I think moving forward will order online and pick up as it seems to be the most efficient way to get the chipotle. They have a dining room with several tables that seem to be pretty clean, but we did not eat in the dining room. read more

Stay away from this location. The manager Nathan is rude and likes to argue about the small portions they serve when questioned. Ever since Nathan became manager, the portions went from normal size to 3/4th the size. Upper management doesn't care when I brought it to their attention. Also, the place is filthy most of the time. This Chipotle is consistently dysfunctional. Each time I go to this location (1x/mo), they are out of at least 2 ingredients. Today, it was chaos. I can't put into words how bad this experience was. Today, they were out of half the ingredients, including: steak, chicken, white rice, veggies, and black beans. They also had no forks or knives. The staff was mis-managed (manager no where to be found); customers were not being helped; there was no or mis-communication; and a long line of customers had to walk out. Through the chaos of no food being available, the staff also messed up our order twice, and then walked away from the counter. When we were helped, they put literal cold (uncooked beans) in our meal. When we asked to speak to the manager, the manager did not come out. It was unclear if they were there. The staff were displeased and confused themselves - IMPORTANT NOTE, I feel bad that the staff were put into this position. I don't blame them for not having ingredients or being uncertain about how to handle this debacle. It seems like they're being setup for failure. Had I been working at this restaurant, I probably wouldn't know how to tell customers consistently, "We're out of food at our restaurant." I also imagine they're underpaid, especially when considering they have to deal with these terrible work conditions. Anyway, the staff noted that the General Manager, Keith, often under-orders ingredients and mismanages the store. Sorry to call you out, Keith, but if half a dozen of your staff are mentioning you by name, then they probably have good reason to. I rarely have the time/energy to write a restaurant complaint, but experiences like today have happened almost every time I go to this location (the other location is twice as far). One taco $11 is stupid pricing. It cost $22 for two tacos. For a retired senior citizen they should at least give you a small soda with that! Adding insult to injury was the fact that there was hardly any meat on the tacos! We could have a waiter serving us for that price but instead stood in line for twenty minutes to get shorted on meat and overcharging exponentially for a taco! There was only a small amount of lettuce, a few bites of chicken and like four or five pieces of onions/peppers. I had to add lettuce from my house to make it enough to be full. After an amazing Thursday kayaking we were not in the mood to make food at home so we decided to have Chipotle for dinner. This restaurant is amazing and the staff was amazing. For the chipotle salad we ordered Double chicken, beans, cheese, veggies, sauces, corn and lettuce. The whole food was fresh and hot. Poor management, they are consistently out of product and still expect you to pay full price on a bowl missing key ingredient, sometimes several. I could understand if were right before close, but when I stop in its always 1-2 hours before they close and they are consistently out of the grilled fajita veggies. without the fajita veggies, the bowl just isn't the same. This has happened more times than I can count over the last 6 months of periodically stopping in to order. I don't understand what is so difficult, order more product, prep more, hire more staff, whatever you need to do, but you are consistently failing to deliver on your basic offerings. read more

They are always out of something when I go to this location. They never have the greens for the salad, the portions are always small, and it REEKS inside. The smell of garbage and human waste fills the parking lot around this location. Last time I went in there were flies around the open food containers and the tables and drink station were a mess.
