The white rice in my two burrito bowls tonight was seriously undercooked. Unfortunately I was already home when I discovered this issue. I guess they do not taste or test their products at this location. Eating raw rice will result in gastrointestinal problems and stomach pains. During my last few visits to Chipotle in Tehachapi I have had terrible experiences. I don't even feel comfortable eating at this establishment after tonight's visit. First the food stations are disgusting, theres corn mixed in with the salsa and cheese etc. food all over the counters and spilled into others. Second, the woman that was making my plate dropped the guacamole onto the counter and then scoops it up and places it right back on top of my bowl, then proceeds to make my bowl as if I didn't see, instead of just tossing that in the trash and scooping a new half spoon full. Then when I asked her if the guacamole had fallen onto the counter she said no it fell on the side of the bowl and she caught some but I saw it and saw guac on the counter where it fell. The fact that this is the only chipotle in town and this is the level and quality of food we get is insane. This location might ruin your Chipotle cravings. Bottom line the service quality is lacking so the food is subpar. I ordered takeout through the app on my first go. Two salads, but they barely had any greens and the vinaigrette on the side was literally a weak drizzle's worth. Food still tasted good, but I haven't had Chipotle in at least a year. Second time was through DoorDash delivery. Same order of two salads. Again, the salads lacked greens and ingredients were scarce. This time no vinaigrette was included on the side and it definitely was not in the salad, so they either ran out of dressing or forgot. I'm probably not going back here again just to be disappointed. Sorry but this has been my worst experiences at a Chipotle ever. I recommend only ordering in-person so you can address your concerns directly. I don't get it. Most places up here in Tehachapi lack service quality. Do people just not care anymore that work at these "fast food" restaurants? They do the bare minimum, get paid, and go home. Do not order online. We waited over 1 hr after the promised pickup time before it was actually ready. We got tired of waiting so tried to cancel/refund the order but Chipotle wouldn't let us because it was made online. We finally got the order and it was missing food and was cold. We tried calling the store but the phone calls never got picked up. We then tried using the chipotle automated online service "Pepper" but we kept getting errors. There was pretty much no way of talking with a human being about the screwup and all automated ways didn't work. The only thing that I have a problem with every time is the chips being stale. I'm serious every time. I really don't get it.
