I always like their breakfast items, so delicious. When we pulled in to park there was an employee mad dogging us while she was smoking a cigarette right in front of customers in the front parking lot, yuck. Everything was absolutely delicious except for that spicy McMuffin, BARF. It was very spicy with a very weird taste, I threw it out immediately. The restaurant was nice and clean and everyone seemed happy and eating away. No more spicy McMuffins for me. read more

The food was old the hash browns were cold and mushy the bagel breakfast sandwich was all over the wrapper it was messy and the bagel should be crispy it was soft yuck it didn't help I had gotten my breakfast two minutes before it switched over to lunch oh well I'll not be returning a waste of 18 dollars for something that went in the trash I will say the cold coffee was good read more

The food is fine, it's McDonald's, however the wait times are HORRENDOUS. It's to the point where, if you don't have 20-30 minutes to spare, do not go here. Drive thru or curbside, expect a Long wait. Time of day almost doesn't matter, you will be waiting an incredibly long time whether you order a 10 piece or 10 burgers. I no longer eat here on break, otherwise my entire break is spent waiting. read more

Whoever prepared my QP should be demoted to bathroom duty. How hard is it to follow McDonald's food prep? Don't they send you to McSchool? My QP w/cheese tasted funny and mushy, stopped my car to take a look, was raw in the middle. This after waiting for 15 min for just this and a coke? Never in all my trips to any McDonald's have I been served raw meat. Whoever made this is putting people at risk. This McDonald's has been going steadily downhill. I don't know why it's so busy, has been consistently bad for a while, but this is the final straw for me. Hoping I don't get sick. Yuk. read more

My first fillet-o-fish. It had been a while since I had been to a McD and I don't think I've ever gotten a fillet-o-fish. It was time to mix it up, and it was honestly fine. The cheese didn't add much and I found it a bit odd how clear it was that it was just half a square of cheese. Tartar sauce added flavor. Bun was soft. Fries were fresh. My son had a gift certificate for McDonalds and we decided to go through the drive thru. It was busy, but line went fast. He got a number 9 and when we got it everything was as ordered. I can't review on the inside because all we ever do is drive thru. But we have no complaints on how fast or accurate the orders are. I would recommend this McDonalds. read more

My kids wanted (3 and 5) wanted to play the games on the stationary tablets but couldn't due to woman (mid-late 40's) and a teen taking up the spaces.. The tablets are there for the kids. Not for FULL BLOWN adults and late teens. My kids were bugging and crying out loud that they wanted to use the tablets and the lady and her kid did not care. The Tehachapi McDonald's needs to at least post signs up advising adults that, the tablets are for kid use only. We came here because the dining room at Jack in the Box was already closed at 10. This one closed at 11 p.m. We'd come from Woodward West and there didn't seem to be much available at that time of night that didn't involve alcohol. We were greeted by a trainer at the register--that was a very good thing. Forgive me, but the chain has trouble with their equipment and their employees' attention span. Way back when, I worked at two franchise stores and we couldn't believe when we went to company stores, at how horrible they could be. Ordering was quick and without a problem. Food took a little while, but their drive-thru was backed up. I seem to remember that we were given 1 minute to fill orders at our stores. I think McDonald's has no problem with 5 minutes. When we got the food, it was okay. We didn't order anything custom, and they didn't make a mess of it. The food wasn't particularly hot, but that is corporate policy--to have loads of pre-cooked parts that are to be reheated. The dining room needed some attention, but then again, it's McDonald's. read more

Used to stop here all the time on the way to Vegas. It was my breakfast spot during my single days. During my visits here, the service has been good and the restaurant and restrooms have always been clean. I like their value menu. For the price, they have good food. This location is one of the better McDonalds that I have ever been to so that's why I'm giving them 4 stars. read more

Whichever girl was working the first window at 7:10 pm who paid for my cookie that I ordered was the sweetest angel on earth. It may not sound like much but honestly that sweet gesture was enough to make my entire day which was pretty rough--so much better. We ordered just 4 items online using the app. When we pulled up to the drive through we were told they were still waiting on one item and it'd be just two minutes and to pull up front. We pulled up front and waited over 10 minutes so I went inside. I waited another 10-15 minutes inside again supposedly for the same exact thing we were waiting for when we first arrived. Overall we waited over 30 minutes for 4 little items that I cant imagine takes anymore than 5 minutes at most to cook. read more

Avoid this McDonald's at all costs. Drive a little bit further & go to the one at Loves. At this location food accuracy & freshness have taken a backseat to shitty upper management with no respect for their customers. After going to this location off and on for the past 15+ years, I vow to never give them another penny. I'm pregnant and have been eating mcdonald's breakfasts nearly every day to ease my morning sickness. Three days in a row my hashbrowns were cold, and my sandwiches burnt. On the 4th day of inedible food I called the store to let them know something wasn't right with their breakfasts. On the 5th day i came in to pick up my corrected order and was met by the "store manager" who basically said I was out to scam him and that theres no way possible my food could have been messed up. After he belittled me in the store, and loudly embarrassed me I ended up getting half of what I originally ordered fixed, and had to pay for another drink. There was never an apology. There was never any sort of empathy or sincerity, and he had the audacity to say I had never been there before because he didn't recognize me. This miserable man, chose to treat me like shit instead of like a human being and I am never going back. Fuck that guy, fuck that place, and fuck paying $9.01 for a breakfast I can't eat. read more

Free ice cream cone day was a joke. My wife and I decided to take advantage and went through the drive through and ordered two drinks and our ice cream. We were told that the owner said it was only one cone per customer and that they considered each car a customer. I asked to speak with the manager and was told the same policy. So we drove around a second time like fools just to get the cone. We shared this story at church tonight and all agreed it was so ridiculous to make us drive through twice over a free ice cream cone. The restroom was disgustingly filthy, had black marks all over it, I had to pee and ended up using my own hand sanitizer when I left because I didn't even want to touch the sink. There was black all over the sink, toilet was stained, all the devices covered in black marks. I'll never come back and warn you to do the same. I'm really sad to write this but I need to be honest. I hope they get some things fixed and learn how to treat customers one day.

The steak was cooked perfectly and cakes were bomb! My son had the Eggs Benedict with hash-browns extra crispy. He devoured it! Our Buddy had the southern breakfast with biscuits and gravy. A third plate devoured. The restaurant probably seats close to 40, but it was packed all morning and several local are showing up for take out.
