I called to complain and the manager blamed portion control for the minimum food while my friend ordered something similar to mine and got a full bowl. They used portion control as a way to cover up which I find insulting as I am recovering from an eating disorder and if portioning was a valid reason then my friends and I should have had the same amount of food which was not true. read more

If I could give them zero starts I would! 3/4 orders were wrong but the receipt showed the correct orders....WHAT THE HECK? I had to pu EXTRA for guacamole THAT WASNT EVEN IN MY FOOD!! Let me start out by saying I really love chipotle. Chipotle's food is pretty good, and I've been eating it for years, but the employees at this location are extremely rude. After our order was 20 minutes late, I asked one of the employees to check if it had gone through, because a girl next to me didn't get her order either. He screamed at my friend and I that we weren't allowed to be in the store because of social distancing, even though there were a few other people in there as well. I asked him how I am supposed to know if there is a problem with my order or not, because it was extremely late. He turned and walked away without answering. Ruined my day. Mmm. Chipotle. Who doesn't like Chipotle? Few people. Who doesn't like this location. A lot of people. And I know why. I'll let you in on it. You love Chipotle. Chipotle is bae. You're hungry and the first thought you have: Chipotle. You decide to venture to your nearest faux Mexican restaurant and shell out some cash. As you're walking up to the entrance of Chipotle, you can see the line wrapping around the inside-perimeter of the building. You roll your eyes, but your stomach gurgles. You've come this far, you can't turn around now. You get to the end of the line - probably at the door. You twiddle your thumbs and count how many other people are ahead of you when you finally ask yourself if it's worth it. It is. You stay. When you eventually get to the counter to order, you are faced with a (usually) pleasant employee. They'll help you at a slower than normal speed, but you've waited on this line for a while now. Might as well enjoy the time they spend on you! You notice that as you're moving down the counter-line and telling the employees what rice, beans, meats, and other additions you'd like, the amount of each item they're putting in your burrito-taco-salad-bowl is mediocre, at best. You've been here for 25 minutes already! You're too hungry to care. You get to the end of the line and are faced with the question..."Guac?" Your college wallet screams "NO!" but your heart says "Yes!" You finally get your cup, bottle, or side of chips, throw your $11 on the counter and snag a table. You're unwrapping your glorious burrito-taco-salad-bowl only to find that what you're looking at is disappointing. You remember the small portions of food that were put in it and sigh, but take a bite anyway. Your pallet explodes from the fresh ingredients and you're impressed, even if you're bummed at the fact that they ran out of your corn salsa. You wipe the sweat off your brow from your determination to even be getting this far in the first place - or maybe it's from the hot salsa you asked for. You finish the masterpiece, get up, and walk to your car, realizing that you've had much better Chipotle elsewhere. But your college-self appreciates that it's so close to campus that you can't complain about much else. So I went to Chipotle a while ago when it first opened and it was awful.. dry chicken.. bad salsa. Only thing was beans were good. So I said I would never go back. I just got a gift card for xmas and figured I'd use it and give them another shot... chicken was still awful dry and this time they added bones.. glad to see nothing has changed. Mediocre Chopotle. For the past week they have not had lettuce. How do you not have lettuce? The management sucks the workers are slow and the servings are small. The only reason I come here is because it is the only one nearby. The food is also inconsistent which is a huge problem considering chain restaurants are supposed to be consistent. Sometimes the rice is too salty, sometimes the chicken is burnt. As someone who loves Chipotle and holds it close to his heart this is one of the worst Chipotle restaurants I have been to. read more

Service is somewhat slow I know this is normal because chipotle has a lot of customers but in my opinion they are slower than I'm use to. Loved the layout, seating area and location of the Vestal Chipotle, not to mention the service and food. The location is ideal, right down the Vestal Parkway on the outskirts of Binghamton University. Portion could be a little bit more generous, but I'll take it! really great burrito proportions, but TERRIBLE SERVICE. the cashier taylor in particular was extremely rude to me and my friend who are both customers. Prior to purchasing my burrito, we asked if they charge extra for a quessarito which is just for the cheese to be melted. The woman who was apparently new said that they don't charge extra therefore we went forward with our order. However at the register Taylor insisted on charging the 3 dollars for the melted cheese. My friend asked to speak to a manager but instead she did not only disregard her request, but she attempted to convince to pay the extra $3.00 then asked my friend if she had the money to pay for it. Another worker just came and rang my friend out without charging her the $3.00 I was right behind her and she continued to insist on charging me the $3.00. I then demanded to speak to the manager and explained and she then disregarded the $3.00. I was nothing but nice to the cashier taylor, in fact i apologized and said thank you but she just completely ignored me and gave me an attitude which was very unappreciated. read more

My sister and I ordered chipotle, picked it up, and drove home. After looking at our food realized both orders were wrong. My sister ordered a chicken burrito double wrap, the sticker with her order was placed on a steak bowl with guac (she cannot eat avocado or else she would have "powered through it"). What was presumably mine was a chicken bowl with not only the wrong rice, but also had romaine on it (which i did not order); i ordered the steak bowl (receipt attached). My sister called and I presume the manager answered and told us to bring back the food and it would be corrected (another 40 minutes round trip that we had already done). Upon arrival, my sister spoke to a young African American woman. She was rude and asked my sister "what her problem was". Being I have more of a backbone I came out and spoke to her. She claimed the manager was remaking the burrito, but not the bowl...why not the bowl? It's cold and made incorrectly. She claimed it being cold was "not their problem nor their fault". I asked for a manager at this point, which I never do because I am a waitress myself and hate when a manager is involved with one of my customers. A bald, white man comes out and asks what "my issue is" and I explained that I felt the steak bowl should be remade; he claims he didn't understand what I wanted because he was making the bowl. I apologized and said his employee claimed they were only remaking the burrito...he shut the door without saying anything further and I even apologized again when he brought our food out. The young woman should not be allowed to speak to customers in that manner and I am very disappointed that Chipotle let's her work there. I have had 3 problems in the last 4 months from this particular Chipotle and am starting to wonder if it's the managements fault. I prefer Chipotle to Moe's, but it seems as though Moe's is becoming a more attractive choice considering their customer service. I do not think I will be returning to this Chipotle again. read more

I have to disagree with the previous reviews. This Chipotle seems to be pretty similar to other Chipotles. Obviously, if you go at a popular time, the line will move a bit slowly. I was able to ask for extra rice with no problems from the staff, and I'm giving an extra star because the staff were really polite and helpful when I came in with three gift cards. Everything was clean and stocked when I visited (~1pm on a weekday). read more

This is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. I waited in line for 15 minutes to buy a bowl for myself and my boyfriend and then it was packaged so poorly that on my 5 minute drive home, the bag ripped and spilled the food all over the floor. I called the store to ask if there was anything they could do and the manager offered to remake my food and give me 3 free entrees. She said to go straight to the cashier when I returned for my food. I was appreciative and drove back to the store and walked to cashier, who ignored me for 10 minutes, despite making eye contact and multiple attempts to get his attention. I had to ask the person doing to-go orders to grab the manager for me. He went to the back and returned, saying that the manager needed me to get back in line and re-order my food. Begrudgingly, I did, and waited an additional 20 minutes to re-order the food I had ordered previously. When I finally got to the cashier, I asked to speak to the manager and the cashier rudely said "we know" and proceeded to be extremely unhelpful and rude. I understand that busy locations like these are difficult to work at, but I wouldn't have been causing any problems if my order at been fulfilled properly the first time. First, the food. I ordered the shredded beef burrito. It was not only terribly bland in seasonings and overly salty, but the guac tasted freezer burnt - I ended up having to scrape most of it off. The vegetarian burrito, ordered by my friend, is baffling since the only thing different is that instead of meat you get the guac - with the world of vegetarian protein options out there, thats the best they can do? The overall effect is that room temp ingredients end up overwhelming the one or two warm ones on it and the whole thing is served, at best, below room temp. Of course, that assumes any of the "warm" ingredients are served warm. They were something less then that. And the decor - well, I think they were going for industrial-chic, but they overshot and landed up cheap. Tables I haven't seen since my high school lunchroom, warehouse-store concrete floor (which was really dirty and really needed to be introduced to a mop), and an unfinished ceiling (plywood and ceiling joists - does anyone want to admire the construction ? its not even painted) - just make it look like its still unfinished. And the effect of the high ceiling and the concrete floor means that every sound echos in there -- not exactly ideal for a place with long tables that are supposed to allow people to sit and eat. read more

I had a very good experience considering I am from out of town. I went for a lunch burrito consisting of chicken, white rice, black beans, lettuce, and cheese. The staff was friendly and very quick. I got the burrito to go and I was inside for less than 2 minutes. The restaurant look clean. When enjoying my burrito the only minor concern was that the black bean juice was a little much. After countless positive experiences here, I just had my first negative. Why would you bother asking if I want white or brown rice, and then tell me you only have brown rice? The young woman then proceeded to give me less than half a scoop of rice, and I had to ask for more. What was considered "more" was still barely any, and I felt like it would be rude to ask for more again. The amount of food that I received in my bowl didn't even cover the bottom and I feel so gypped. I hope this was just a single occurrence, but just to be safe I won't come here anymore :) read more

Im a very polite person and was patient, yet this kid serving must have been frustrated with the busy crowd. MOREOVER, the main reason I'm not going back is due to the fact that they are not serving Pork because of where it comes from or how the animals are treated. The white rice was extremely salty many of the times I've gone to this location of Chipotle. Also, they do not cut the fat off of the steak so when they chop it up, you'll have a chunk of fat (which is gross). Would not recommend this location. read more

I had been out of the country for 2 years and missing Chipotle burritos like crazy, thinking of them in my darkest food moments when all that was offered to me was a piece of grey meat in some greasy soup at a dirty, sketchy food market stall in Asia. So the day finally came, and I visited this Chipotle in my hometown. I could not have been more happy with this establishment. The staff making my burrito found out I had been out of the country from our conversation, and they gave me special treatment and service because of it. The staff was extremely friendly and interested in talking to me all while welcoming me back to the country. Chipotle exceeded every daydream I had of it when I was traveling abroad, and they made me feel at home and welcome after being so long away from home. It sounds corny, but those people made me really proud to be an American and to be associated with people that friendly and welcoming. read more
