hello reader. i have had a rough day today and i turned to chipotle to make me feel better. let's just say tacos were exquisite as usual but maaaaannnn were my chips salty. so salty that it brought today's yelp rating down to 2 stars. to make this even more exciting, my mum accidentally bought two bags of these over salted tortilla chips made with corn masa flour. what am i supposed to do with TWO BAGS OF OVERSALTED CHIPS. i would feed them to my dog but my mum sold her on craigs list. i just don't really know how to feel at the moment. i am honestly quite traumatized by what has happened. i'm forcing myself to believe that a new chipotle worker training peep was on chips today and that this was just ONE unfortunate fail. pls do better. wocky slush, more like wocky chips read more

This place tends to be my kitchen more then 3 times a week. I'm disappointed when they run out of guac, but it happens... Staff is usually fast, friendly and hooks ya up. I don't think I have ever felt "gyped" out of guac or meat. If I do it's because they are newbies and I cut em slack. My only complaint for chipotles across the board is WHY SO MANY ONIONS!?!?! :( There are onions in the fajita, the mild salsa, the corn, the guac... Sometimes I feel like onions are the main course of my meal. I don't mind a few here and there... But in everything? Come on... Make onions a options on the side or something. Or chop them up smaller... But I put up with it cause it's the healthiest fast food option and I have figured out how to eat there for only $4. Can't beat that. read more

Food has gone down hill at chipotle in general but the queso dip is the worst I've ever had. Probably the last time I eat at any chipotle

I've always been to this location... and it's been mediocre. Today I went there with my mom and her white rice was completely undercooked and crunchy, so I went back to the counter for them to change it. They said the white rice wouldn't be done for a while and they could remake it with brown rice and then refund her for the undercooked bowl. For my bowl, they were stinger and scraping the bottom of the pan for the rice mush at the bottom when I asked for more than one single scoop. The employees all rolled their eyes the entire time. Pretty disappointing that I have to go to the Ridgedale location instead of the closer one. read more

I was just at chipotle, and got my burrito bowl to go. When I got home I was disappointed to see that my bowl was only half full. This would have been ok if it was just a one-off issuer, but this has happened before. I can not justify chipotle anymore if this keeps on happening. read more

The online ordering system is horrendous. I have placed an online order several times and only Once has been order been ready at the specified pick up time. Every other time my order hasn't even been STARTED yet! Also, the online orders seem to hold up the regular line. You'd think there would be a separate place they would assemble the online orders so the walk in customers wouldn't be waiting extra long. The whole place was filled with annoyed/ disgruntled customers tonight. Either perfect the system or get rid of it all together. It's terrible! got here at 9pm an hour before closing and the store was filthy. there were no vegetables because "were closing soon" and no sofritas for whatever reason as well. vocalized my complaint to a worker asking for some sort of discount since the "veggie bowl" had no veggies in it- i was denied. so $8.50 for a bowl of rice and beans with some salsa on it in a dirty restaurant - terrible. read more

If you want to spend the time waiting in line while you freeze to death watching 3 employees struggle to keep things going, you've come to the right place. After the ridiculously long wait, you'll notice the one employee that takes your order and prepares your food on the line is also trying to fulfill call-in orders. Of the other two employees, one was busy cooking, and one stood at the cash register patiently waiting for you to make it there. Once you finally sit down in this extremely cold restaurant, you'll realize your chicken has a lot of hard bits, your burrito is wrapped so loosely that is basically explodes cilantro lime rice, and there's about 10 shreds of lettuce on your mostly rice and black bean entree. I've had tasty Chipotle, this would not qualify. And when you get ready to leave, you'll have to wander the restaurant to find the one trash can that is not overflowing with refuse. This should be a last choice stop if you're in this area of Wayzata. read more

A lunch spot that not only provides me with lunch but also an afternoon snack, since I can't seem to ever finish one of their burritos in one sitting. The best part about this is that the food is really tasty and all under $7 sounds like a great lunch deal to me. What I really like about this location is the patio seating, which I have made use of many of times when the weather decided to cooperate. If not there is plenty of seating inside but during the lunch hour rush (11:45 - 1) you might have to play musical chairs as you wait for an empty spot. The staff is extremely friendly, the place is always clean and even when there is a long line (out the doors during the lunch rush) the wait doesn't seem to be go past 8 minutes from when you are paying for your food at the counter (which is stretching it). read more

I go to chipotle a lot and even though I live closest to this one, I refuse to go back after today. I have given it more chances than I can recall. 1. It's always understaffed. The line moves super slow. Like insanely slow. 2. I have visited twice in the last week and they have been out of chicken at 6:00. And it isn't like they run out for five minutes. The last time my kids had finished eating by the time the chicken was done. And the kicker: I had to get BACK in line to get my bowl (even though I had paid for it!) 3. We ordered catering for 25. Two hours before the party they called and said that an employee had called in sick so they could not fulfill my order. I understand things come up, but I would have assumed they would have offered to fill my order at a different location. Nope!! They asked if I could call the Plymouth location. Ha! I said since I had already paid and had a confirmed order not to mention 25 people coming to my house, could they call? Ridiculous. This location is lacking serious leadership. I will give my business to somebody else. read more

the food is always good and healthy. It is definetly the place for the health consious. They try to keep the food with no preservatives and it is cooked to order. the best time to go is early afternoon or around 7 pm. when it is not cold outside they offer the use of the patio. Even though it is in the ridgedale mall there is parking close by so you can go in and out. read more

I eat Chipotle burrito bowl everyday for lunch, as a good low carb option. This particular Chipotle may be the worst. Every time I go this Chipotle the line is so slow. Moreover they are very stingy with all the ingredients. They apply 2/3 the normal portion of everything. The reason the line moves so slow is the patrons constantly requesting more of a particular ingredient. I have come to this conclusion after ~15 visits. I am done. read more

Food is typically always great however I received undercooked rice the last 2 days going there for lunch - huge no no in my book. Also - I'm not sure if more people need to be hired, or they need to be faster but I constantly feel like I am waiting in line for 15-25 minutes just to get a burrito bowl. I get that lunch gets busy but I would highly suggest hiring more people or people that can be on point and faster. I also feel like the girls that typically work the line during lunch during the week seem to like to chat to their co workers as well - hello not when you have people in your line. Most people that come for lunch are coming on their lunch break and it really sucks when you take up my whole lunch break just so I can grab some food. read more

I usually don't write reviews but I am really disappointed today with my visit to this Chipotle.. I walked in and asked for a burrito and brown rice. The employee asked if i wanted any beans and I said no thanks but then he just put barbacoa without even asking. It wasn't like he misheard what I said or accidentally was going to put it on. I'm not the kind of person to be rude and make him start over but its just the basics. I'm really disappointed because it is always the meat that is messed up which is the most important part. read more

Don't come here! Had food poisoning the last two days because they gave me uncooked chicken in my burrito bowl. Worst experience ever.

We had a horrible experience a year ago and decided to give it another try this past Sunday, an even worse experience!!! We ordered 3 chicken tacos for our 1 year olds, a burrito and a steak salad. The chicken was cold, in the burrito there was half of an avocado( literally), the chips and quac was a joke, for $3 we got a total of 6 chips and the guac was so spicy with an overload of jalapenos. The steak was not even cooked, it was red in the inside. The last time we complained to them they basically laughed in our faces. Never again will we go to this establishment. The location is great! Walking distance from my work so I went over on my break and there was a long line out the door but it moved quickly. My burrito bowl wasn't good because the rice wasn't cooked all the way so it was hard and crunchy. I had called to explain what happened and they were extremely nice and said I could get a new bowl. They were so nice when I had come back and quick to accommodate me coming in at a busy time to get a new burrito bowl. I was also appreciative of the the coupon they had given me as well to apologize for the mistake. Unfortunately the rice still wasn't cooked all the way the second time so I had to throw it away and get something else to eat. Customer service was great...food was not good.... read more

I like Chipotle food. However the biggest problem with this location is the inability to have the right amount of food ( ran out of chips on both visits, by 3p.m ) The staff also has a cavalier attitude that is unlike the other locations that I have visited. I ordered my salade online before my 30 min lunch break it was to be ready by 1:30. After getting there I had to wait until it was ready. My note of 2 scoops of corn was not read. I know because I stood there and watched them make it. Then after I paid and had it in my hand I said can I have dressing? They told me they do not have any. I was upset. I had no time to wait until they made me something else. I shouldn'tve been able to order a salade if they had no dressing. It was a Saturday and busy. How do you not have dressing?! They could have called another location to get some. ( they was another one close) they did not apologize for my wait nor the no dressing. This Chipotle use to be the best until an ever-changing staff of servers started questioning my request to separate the beans and rice from the soft tacos and burrito orders. One of the young men had the gall to say I had both already in them so they should charge me extra. Although, I had extra lettuce and asked for everything else added to my burrito he made the assumption there were beans and rice included. Lately some of the servers feel they can be rude when I customize my order and they make it seem not OK...
