5 Stars! What a difference. I have only had one experience previously with Chiropractic doctors and it wasn't that great. I didn't think I would go again. Against my initial bias, I listened to a very vocal fan of Dr. Moshrefi and gave it a shot. He knows what he is doing and he takes pride in his work. He didn't start working until he had X-rays showing what my spine looked like. That is something I almost never hear about. I completly agree with the other review on here. The dr. (Whatever his name was) was rushing me and was rude treating like all my concerns regarding my lower back was all common sense. I come from a sports background and I have dealt with many chiropractors in the past and no one was as rude as him. I stumbled upon this place because a groupon special and I dont know if maybe this was the reason he was treating me like a non paying customer. If that were to be the case then dont advertise your business on groupon to live off of $30 each customer. Whatever im just taking my business else where. I visited this office 9 years ago! I had to come back to Dr.Ben after doing a land internship. I had lower neck and back pain. I knew my spin was out of alignment because I had all sort of weird nerve problems including carpal tunnel. Dr.Ben himself took my X-Ray. It didn't take more than 2-3 minutes. We went over my x-rays. He explained to me which vertebrae needed adjustments. He gently adjusted me. It was all easy and pain free. I'll definitely come back to him again. The staff were very friendly and kind! I injured my back two days ago while lifting weights so I called this place yesterday to get info on the typical co-pay. I told the receptionist that I was experiencing a lot of discomfort and seemed eager to help, but told me that shed call me today with info. I totally should have looked elsewhere immediately in order to acquire more rapid chiropractic services, but made the mistake of waiting until today. I didn't receive a phone call today so I called them and spoke to another receptionist who just told me to call tomorrow. Seriously, after about 2 adjustments, Dr. Moshrefi HEALED MY LOWER BACK PAIN! I seriously can't rave about him enough! I was in pain for 2 1/2 years straight after a car accident that I was in when I was about 6 months pregnant. I tried everything from an orthopedic specialist, to pain hypnotherapy, to physical therapy, but nothing helped me. I would stretch and dig my knuckles and the edges of kitchen counter tops into my lower back and hip all day, then lay down and 'try' to sleep at night with tears streaming and nightly debates with myself about what kind of kitchen knife or long skewer I should plunge into my back to make the pain go away. I was in so much agony. I don't like to complain, but my family knew I was struggling and would encourage me to just take pain meds (which they are fond of) but I was against anything stronger than Ibuprofen, due to breastfeeding. So I just sucked it up throughout the day, and suffered at night. I FINALLY started thinking about seeing a chiropractor, on the suggestion from my fiance, but it seemed from reviews of other Riverside chiropractors that I might be faced with paying a ton of money for someone to just tell me to eat better and exercise...but I already eat really well (naturalist) and am in decent shape, so I became skeptical and couldn't decide who to see. I decided to just try it when an amazon local deal came along for their Canyon Crest office, which is right down the street from me, and I scheduled an appointment. Best decision EVER. OFFICE: Clean and organized; located next to Jamin' Bread Restaurant. PRICE: AMAZING- only $45 per session! I run a small business, so I pay cash for my healthcare needs- and this can't be beat! I think he even threw in a few free X-rays. He only suggests that I come in as needed. They have a rewards program too. DOCTOR: Dr. Moshrefi is SUPER nice and personable. He is also very knowledgeable and detail oriented; he seems to dote over ever vertebrae and makes several measurements and analyses before he adjusts. After two visits, my pain was GONE GONE GONE! I am sooooo HAPPY! Since my third visit, we are now starting to work on some other issues, like anxiety and regular health maintenance. I was able to get an x-Ray with a full and thorough explanation putting all anxiety to rest. It was very interesting looking at my bones and what was what. Dr. Ben showed me all the x-Rays it was fascinating. This was all accomplished in less than 30 minutes. I defiantly endorse and recommend this place to anyone in need. No stars deserved!!! Horrible experience!! I'd write my review on groupon , however I'm receiving a refund from Groupon and unable to leave one. I have been having difficulties with this place. I originally made an appointment and then requested to postpone it due my newborns first set of shots. Receptionist claimed it was okay, but due to my Groupon expiring they have to put Groupon as redeemed but would be no trouble. Stated I call back daily before their message therapist leaves on vacation. I called daily, unfortunately there were no cancelations and receptionist moved my appointment to 8/1. She tried giving a hard time about my Groupon expiring. I believe this was another girl, named Maria. I explained to get her and she said as courtesy they would accept it. I told her if it was a problem then I had the chance for a refund not Groupon credit. I get a reminder call just now from Maria then starts again stating how she reviewed their call logs, last time I called was July 18-20. And she asked all the employees if they spoke to me. And claims no one had knowledge. I can not believe this employee is accusing me of my word! She is rude and had the animosity to say I can show my proof to the chiro Doct. Both my grandma and I love Dr. Ben! I first came to see him when I was having difficulty with my back. Within a few adjustments I am a new person! I can walk and was able to get rid of a lot of the medications I was on. I still go to Dr. Ben on a regular basis to maintain my health. He is always willing to go the extra mile to assist his patients! My grandma began seeing Dr. Ben a few weeks ago. She was having a lot of pain in her knees and had a difficult time walking. I've recently been seeing Dr. Ben for regular adjustments. Over the years I've had a lot of chiropractic care and have even worked for several DCs. I've been in pain for a while because I didn't know any chiropractors in the area I wanted to see and finances were tough. A friend referred me to Dr. Ben and I'm happy that I'm under his care now. My spine is pretty much a mess from car accidents and other injuries, so I'm a tough case. But Dr. Ben is getting me back on track. What impresses me most though is how he really cares about his patient's well being, and takes the time to discuss your issues thoroughly during your first visit. I know most chiropractors care, but Dr. Ben has made extra efforts to make sure I get the treatment I need and I'm extremely grateful. He has also made efforts to help my daughter who gets frequent headaches. Unfortunately she didn't continue with her treatments because she is very sensitive and does not like being adjusted. But I have a close friend whose daughter had a headache for a full week that was alleviated with one adjustment from Dr. Ben, so I know he does good work with kids that are not resistant to adjustments. I normally don't write reviews but decided to this time to let everyone know how much Dr. Ben has helped me these past few months. I like many other people were referred to him from a family friend. I have been to 2 other chiropractors before seeing Dr. Ben. The first chiropractor would just push on my back, hook me up to a machine and leave me then say see you in a couple days which did absolutely nothing for me besides take my money. The second chiropractor was a better experience but he was an elderly man who instead of doing x-rays just would feel my back and asked to see me almost once a week but it was a long process with him. When I saw Dr. Ben the first time with lower back pain leading down my left leg back in September I had a hard time walking let alone sit for a short period of time and he took some x-rays, he listen to all the issues I've been having and told me what the issue was. Dr. Ben performed an adjustment and told me to take it easy because it was a serious problem with my disc. Unfortunately a week later I did something to cause the adjustment Dr. Ben performed to go out of place (all my fault). I reached out to Dr. Ben and at this time my pain was so severe I didn't know if I would be able to make it in and if it wasn't for Dr. Ben calling me personally I probably wouldn't have gone to see him. Being in such pain I was able to make it in and Dr. Ben did a slight adjustment because I was in so much pain I couldn't even lay down. At that time I had to stand all day and could not sleep. It took some time for the correction to help me out because of the severity but I finally after a couple days could sleep!!! Since then I've listen to what Dr. Ben has told me to do and take it easy. I've had lower back/never issues constantly for the past few years but thanks to Dr. Ben I know exactly what's going on and what to do. He's helped me like many of his other patients and I can't thank him enough. BTW he has a great staff as well. I'm going to be completely honest here. I never gave much credit to chiropractors before yesterday. I had seen one once before, and I felt like he didn't do much. Boy, was I ever wrong. I had been having really bad pain and reduced mobility in my neck for a couple of days, and it was also a reoccurring problem. Dr. Moshrefi took some xrays, explained what the problems were, and how he was going to fix them. I had a few problems that I wasn't aware of, and after three adjustments I felt better than ever. Seriously, just 3 adjustments. I was hesitant before going to him so I originally only wanted my neck taken care of. After talking with Dr. Moshrefi for a few minutes I was convinced he knew what he was doing, and went with the entire spine. He got rid of the pain in my neck, and even discomfort I had apparently gotten used to in my lower back. I feel better than I have in a long time. I'd recommend this place to anyone. read more

My husband had experienced headaches almost daily for years and was told by a previous chiropractor that he would have to get adjusted biweekly for the rest of his life and that the problem wasn't repairable. I saw that some of the poor reviews were because of the way the reviewers were treated by the receptionist. I think that's odd because every time I call or go in there, they're very nice to me and all of the other patients in there. Dr. Ben is a very good chiro and is always great about getting you right in if an adjustment didn't take or something is still not feeling right afterward. The doctor is very knowledgeable. He knows his stuff. He adjusted my neck and upper back area from an injury I had a few months back. I didn't know that my spine was shifted to one side. The x-Ray showed the shift and the doctor had many tools to use to make sure he made the right adjustment. After just one treatment, I am already feeling better and am able to sleep through the night without waking up from neck pains. I am definitely going back for more adjustments to be 100%. This place wasn't like other chiropractors who make you go on a plan such as 3 times a week. It was more of, "Let's hope that this adjustment makes the pain go away. I'm telling you, if you're in need of a GREAT chiropractor he is the guy. I was always SO scared of chiropractic care, but Ben made it so easy. A few years ago I was having the worst pain and numbness in my right wrist (working was PAINFUL). Ben took X-rays, determined the issue and fixed it. He gave me advice on what to do at home to keep this pain from coming back and ever since then I've been able to keep it under control. Agree with other negative reviews about provider not treating the problem area. He treated another area after I talked about 3 specific areas that were causing me trouble, I do not feel any relief from what was causing me pain and actually feel soreness from the area he worked on instead. Pretty disappointed. I also see another chiropractor in riverside but went here because of scheduling issues and work. Bad move on my part. Im used to a relaxing and satisfying experience. Im used to someone working on the areas I've identified as an issue and not disregarding it when i talk about it. I also enjoy getting an adjustment and feeling a sense of relief versus "holy shit that didn't really feel so good." I've had chiropractors used STEM on me, massage tables, and other techniques. That is not the case here. It's not really an enjoyable experience. I also just want to say, it's a major red flag when a business owner that feels he needs to respond to negative reviews online... your work should speak for itself and if people aren't happy, you should welcome the feedback to make corrections instead of getting defensive. Love this Chiropractor! I would walk by the business all the time and I would think to myself - I need to make an appointment. One hindrance was that my back was doing ok - and I thought he would be expensive. It wasn't until my back went out that I called. And I so wish I had done it sooner - and I was so wrong. It was not that expensive. There are no contracts. And it was so worth my initiation fee. He spent a lot of time with me. He actually ultra-sounded my back and showed me area of concern for now - and the future. He explained to me how some of my problems are affected with the nervous system and how his work can help. Totally makes sense. He works evenings and weekends and offers a very reasonable fee ($10) - to use a machine that you can just come in to use as you want/need. I believe he really cares about your well being and is very knowledgeable. And there is no pressure. Love it. I totally believe in Chiropractic care and that everyone can use it. I've been dealing with lower back pain for, at least, six years when I decided to finally go see a chiropractor. I was scared, at first, thinking about so many things that could possibly happen but after Dr. Ben Moshrefi took x-rays of my back, he immediately pointed out the cause for the pain. I first started coming here when I got into a really bad accident. I was going to school at UCR at the time so I needed to go to a chiropractor around the area. I ended up coming to this place because it was so convenient and close by. Till this day, I am still coming here at least one a month for a massage and adjustment. I have been coming here for about 2 years now. The prices are definitely affordable for both massages and adjustment. If you join the massage club, you pay only $40 a month for a 1 hour massage! Thats a steal considering all the other places that I have read about. Dr Ben and Dr Shaida are very professional chiropractors and are great at doing what they do. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ben, I have been coming here for about 8 years. He is extremely knowledgable, he cares, he explains how things work, why and how to fix it. I have been coming for back problems and he said it would fix the acid reflux I've had since I was 8 years old. Of course, at first I was skeptical since doctors have only been able to patch it wIth medications. Well, first visit in about 8 years ago I left and my acid refLux was gone along with the neck and back pain. I come see him whenEver I start feeling with back pain maybe once a mOnth depending how busy I am. When i forget, I quickly remember because my acid reflux starts up again. About a month ago, I went to urgent care. I could not even walked I was I in so much pain. The doctor said it might be a pinched nerve and sent me home with 3 bottles of pills, one of them a muscle relaxer. Long story short, I ended up goinG the sams day with Dr. Ben, he took x rays and aligned my back. I left a bit sore, woke up the next day with no pain. I can go on and on other stories. My wife and I first decided to go here with a groupon purchase, and we couldn't be happier with the choice. I have previously had chiropractic work for a serious injury in the past; but using a different method. The Dr here is very efficient and the staff in the front are nice. Very minimal wait time and they offer late appointments to boot. Mine and my wife's pains have all been eliminated and will be patient forever. He takes my medical insurance, and his cash prices are actually competitive to insurance copays! I have gone to chiropractors for many years, and while I do believe it is VERY helpful I also believe that it has its limitations. Further, EVERY chiropractor I have EVER gone to wanted me on some long term, come in 3 times a week plan. Well, not Dr. Ben. In fact, he will only adjust me periodically AND only a few places at a time so that my body wont be put through too much. He really is a good guy, and very very honest. I was told at age 20 that I had arthritis; the pain I've felt since age 17. I had Kaiser insurance at the time and they sent me to do an MRI and physical therapy followed after. They basically told me that I'd have to live with the pain in my lower back and the physical therapy would help strengthen my back muscles. The pain in my back always felt more like a sharp pinch more than anything to do with bone deterioration. It kept me from moving freely, and I had chronic pain. I found Dr. Ben through Groupon, which btw, does not cover the x ray or any adjustment. They will charge you on top of the Groupon which apparently only covers the massage therapy. The practice itself is amazing! I just finished my 2nd adjustment and I now feel a lot less pain and stiffness. I haven't been able to exercise at my full potential because of a pinched nerve and it's pain, and now I feel like I can. Oh. And apparently I have a 6th vertebrae. The staff is professional and courteous. My first visit almost had me in tears because the pain was noticeably eased and I was so happy to learn I don't have to live with this chronic pain for the rest of my life, thanks to Kaiser. Thank you Dr. Ben, truly. Edit: I just finished my 3rd adjustment and I can now move easier with little to no pain. I think the key is to RELAX and trust your doctor. Came once for a quick alignment now I am a regular. Dr Ben takes ex rays and measures up and down the spine for pain and discomfort. Handles everything with class.
