My 6m old and I are so lucky to have found Dr. Ben, he is a rare find in Riverside. My baby was having spasms, appeared to be seizers. Dr Ben was very unique in the way he cared for my baby by analyzing him for his specific needs. These spasms occurred every 2 days consistently when falling asleep and waking up. He also would rock back and fourth vigorously and wouldn't bend his body much while being held or in a sitting position. Dr. Ben took his time and found what was the cause of my child's pain and explained to me why he did what he was doing for relief. After seeing Dr Ben the differences where night and day. My child's comfort level is much much better, siting comfortably, bending his body when you hold him, he is responding, talking (babbling), turning his head both ways without discomfort, spasms have decreased. I didn't have to pump my baby with medication either! I also took my son to a highly recommended neurologist and they did not find what Dr Ben found. About 2 years ago I started to experience extremely long, heavy, and painful periods (Menorrhagia). I had various ultrasound tests and tried multiple different methods of birth control to try and stop the bleeding, nothing worked. The blood loss was so bad I ended up being hospitalized and in need of 3 blood and transfusions. The doctor at the hospital injected me with the Depo shot (Depo-provera) and the bleeding stopped for about a month before starting again. During this time I was unfortunately involved in a bad car accident. Which I'm thinking "great more pain and problems to my already hectic life". The accident left me very sore and uncomfortable so I stared to see DR. Ben Moshrefi for my upper and mid back. On my very first visit we were discussing what was going on with me and I ended up talking about my mess of a menstrual cycle. Which in return Dr. Moshrefi told me that he has successfully treated this problem. At the time I was thinking like "How could a chiropractor fix this issue?" He explained to me that a lot that goes on with our bodies has to do with the nervous system. With everything that I had already been through and all the dead ends I kept reaching, I was willing to try anything to make the bleeding finally stop. We did about 4 adjustments to my lower back only doing 1 adjustment per visit and only in days were I was experiencing a more heavy flow. Just being treated for 1 month I noticed how light my period had become, I went from needing to change 4x's a day to just a little spotting. As of today the bleeding has stopped completely, Dr. Moshrefi has helped me so much I finally feel like I can finally live a normal life without constantly having to run to the bathroom read more

this is my second review. my first review wasn't a good one either. but i think i deleted after he wrote back with a nasty tone. i feel like my husband and i have addressed where it hurts and he doesn't even treat the areas that are noted. at first we were a little take back of how he doesn't listen to your symptom. after going a few time more, we made it clear of the areas that felt pain. he actually said he didn't like working or adjusting certain area. what the heck you're a chiropractor. i feel he does whats he wants. after reading other people's same thoughts, i knew my husband and i weren't off in our thoughts. i feel he does very little in one visit so you can come back to get more treatment. $$$$ i guess that's he's focus. i have gone to him many times but our last straw was this one last visit that my husband went to. he was in great pain and told him exactly what was happen and it was like he was talking to a wall. then he didn't unlock the table that he placed my husband to crack his crest and he pressed with all he's might and took the wind out of my husband. he only said oh didn't' unlock the table. and tried again not even able to adjust my husband. he charges extra for this wand he uses. i don't ever think i even agreed to have that used. so ask about that charge before you see him. i have recommend him to mom and she likes him so i feel you have to try him for yourself. we don't think he is for us. he might work for you but for us we'll pass. the staff is super nice and great customer service. i feel if he actually would listen to my concern and needs i would go and not leave a meh review. i hope he doesn't lash out like last time but this is very helpful to know what everyone experience. read more

12/28/2014 In July 2014 I began getting Chiropractic care for daily lower back pain from a car accident in August 2013. Aside from the long distance to this wellness center, I suspected that the adjustments I was getting, (2-3 times a week when I could drive there through my pain) were not working. One day I was at my favorite sandwich shop just next door to Dr. Ben's office. One of the girls in the shop recommended I try Dr. Ben. I called his office within a few days. The receptionist, Judy, was very friendly and offered to check into my coverage for receiving treatment from Dr. Ben. I began having my back adjusted by Dr. Ben at the Canyon Crest Chiropractic Wellness Center beginning November 13, 2014. Before this, I had daily lower back pain and was using pain medication and muscle relaxers 3 times a day since my August 6, 2013 automobile rear-end accident. In addition, for about 2 months prior to this first visit, I was experiencing extreme hand pain in both my hands (tingling, numbness, joint cracking) Since my first adjustment on November 13, 2014, with Dr. Ben, I have been completely pain free, both lower back and in my hands. Three days after my 1st visit, I had an appointment with my orthopedic doctor to discuss my hand pain. At that appt. the doctor and I decided to put me through the Carpal Tunnel Release surgery on December 11. After my 3rd visit to Dr. Ben, on December 5th, I decided to cancel this surgery due to my incredible relief in pain. It is my believe that the back adjustments that I am receiving from Dr. Ben has improve my alignment as such to relieve the hand and back pain I was experiencing. The office is extremely clean. I have been suffering from elbow joint pain for many months now and back pain for years. Working in construction makes it impossible to avoid movement in this area. I visited a medical doctor who prescribed pills that caused dizziness and not much relief and recommended 3 months off of work or surgery. I took my 3month old son here last Monday, hoping to get relief for him. My son has horrible Acid Reflux, his meds are not working and we have given him a buffet of formula and thickeners, but nothing seems to help. After our first visit we noticed a difference, first off he fell asleep in my husbands arms right after his adjustment, before this our son would only scream in our arms; once we got him home he chug a 4 oz bottle burped and knocked out for 12 hours only waking up once to eat. Although the reflux is not completely gone, my son is able to sleep without grunting or moaning, his naps went from 15mins to An hour and a half long. He no longer screams in his car seat but the best part is when he has an Acid flare he seems to handle it better no painful screaming. I'm not one to write a negative review but the encounter was unprofessional from the Dr himself. I was in a car accident and needed an adjustment of any sort because the pain was overwhelming in my back and neck. This place had the most readily available time, so I decided to go here. It was late and they were willing to see me, so I think that was considerate. I had an attorney for my case. As I was walking out the door after the adjustment, the dr states "you know you don't have any serious damage, you aren't going to get much if you win. You maybe have 3-6visits and you should be done". I was stunned the chiropractor would say such a thing, especially since I did not ask anything of that sort. It also turns out, after getting checked by two other doctors, I had some significant damage to my back and spine, resulting in months of physical therapy and adjustments. I'm so grateful I did not continue with this practice and chiropractor, I know I wouldn't have received the treatment I needed. I am sure the chiropractor is good at what he does, but his demeanor does not match. read more

If you wake up with a swollen knee and can't walk on it, bend it or straighten it, don't bother going to your primary care Dr. Instead just pick up the phone and call the the best chiropractor EVER!!! After 7 weeks of not being able to walk, bend my knee, in excruciating pain and my Dr telling me it was dislocated and pushing me off to another Dr who wasn't interested unless my first Dr did am MRI, which my first Dr said she wouldn't order because the insurance company always denies MRI requests, and going back and forth I finally decided to go to the one Dr I can ALWAYS count on to help me. My chiropractor Dr. Ben Moshrefi. He has helped me with my neck pain, my lower back pain, internal organ issues, etc for almost 5 years. I trust him to help heal my migraines but for some reason I didn't think about the knee being related to the spine. Guess what?! It is!!! He saw me walk into the office and asked if I was walking with caution. He asked me to describe where the pain was (side, back of knee, top etc), he asked me about the swelling and then said "ok, I know what that is it's your T12. My T12?? My thoracic spine?! Yep!! He knew!!! In 1 crack I could get up off of my knees (I was in a kneeling position to be cracked) I could move my knee and I could WALK!! He is a mighty healer. Visited on a groupon for a massage, nerve scan and consultation. I have been wanted to come in for a long time but the appointment time slots never worked for me til summer. The shop is a little hard to find, tucked into the plaza between Jammin' Bread Bakery and Migliore Gourmet Foods, adjacent to Rite Aid. Did not wait too long after I arrived and filled out a info sheet. The reception area and rooms are very nicely decorated, clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I requested to see the Ms. and the consultation and nerve scan was done very quickly. I let her know about my lower back pain, and she told me I had a pinched nerve and would need to come in for xrays and adjustments in the future. I understand that the groupon was just for a consultation but I would of appreciated if she would of advised me of things I could do to alleviate back pain other than just tell me that I needed xrays and adjustments. The massage was done by Vanessa(?) and was decent. The massage was more like rubbing rather than massaging. Overall a very good experience but based on the prices given to me for a cash patient for xrays and adjustment, I will need to save up before I visit again. read more

Excellent place, starting from the front desk to Dr. Ben. I was very active with my kids & family, going to the gym, and life itself until I experienced the pain of sciatica. This excruciating pain lasted 2 1/2 years while in the meantime my Dr. sent me to physical therapy, many chiropractor visits, she prescribed pain killers, and none seemed to work, but the meds to a certain point. At night I dreaded going to sleep because I was in so much pain while laying down, I stopped being active with my kids, and I was becoming depressed. I came across Dr. Ben through Groupon. I thought I'd give him a try, and it was the BEST decision I've ever made! I've seen him 3 times, and I could honestly say I am getting better & better. Started with Dr. Ben in July of 2015 and have adjustments whenever I am in town (Riverside, CA). I like the way he takes his time during the adjustments. As he works with me, he communicates what is needed in a certain area, lower right back for example, and then adjusts that area.
