INSURANCE FRAUD! ATTENTION OWNER. At the first they are our neighbors and we thought they should be given preference but turned out to be a total scam. The first experience at the front desk would be good to bad and will depend on the person who is attending you. Inexperienced staff at the desk. Things which makes this practice bad. 1. The front desk is changing all the time and they don't have much knowledge and most of the time doge your phone or questions. 2. They never fail to mention that they do take insurance which is a lie and I will explain. 3. The person who verifies the insurance has a fixed email " stating that the insurance is only covering for 15 minutes " either be CIGNA, HEALTHNET or any other. And never ever we got timely reply. This is a big lie, I had a shoulder surgery and I wanted to give them business so I contacted them and then I contacted my insurance for which we pay $800/ month and they said that they cover unlimited visits to Acupuncture and they approve on the medical necessity and if the practice provided the paperwork they would approve all the sessions. Here comes the Lie , " Chiropractique simply wants to do nothing and they only state that ASH doesn't they pay them beyond 15 minutes so they charge for the rest of the session ". THE FACT IS, THEY WILL NOT EVEN BOTHER TO DO PAPERWORK AND SIMPLY SAY ASH DOSE NOT PAY THEM. This is another lie, when I had a 3 way phone conversation and the insurance company agent was telling the clinic that they would pay for whatever time the client would need for the services and the CLINIC WAS CAUGHT LYING. 4. After all this they are so dicey, when I called again to speak to their front desk the girl who picked up was so condescending and told me they they have canceled our all future appointments as we are not a good fit. WE ARE NOT A GOOD FIT AS WE CAUGHT ON THEIR LIES. Good things about the practice: 1. Dr Carmel. TO THE OWNERS . I am also a physician and I do run my own hospital sir/ma'am, this is not how good business is run. You should have a trained staff and a very upfront honest staff. If you intend to charge for the service, you should tell your clients and no harm in that but don't disguise them by stating " INSURANCE ONLY PAYS FOR 15 MINUTES WHEN THE INSURANCE COMPANY ITSELF IS SAYING THEY WILL PAY IN FULL" . I have never been to a chiropractor before. I was nervous for sure. I decided on a whim to go to Chiropractique instead of my PCM. I wanted step outside of the box in hopes of getting better outcomes for my nagging pain in my neck, back and right arm. I love the ease of scheduling on line and being able to read about the doctor's background and training. Upon arrival, staff was friendly and new patient paperwork was a breeze. Dr Rothstein took time to listen. He gave me a lot of great information about anatomy, causes of my discomfort, along with corrective and preventative measures I can practice. We got into a huge car accident about a month ago and our attorney referred us to Dr. Eric Bender. I am 8 months pregnant, and my 4 year old daughter also was injured as well as my fiancé, and let me just say I am beyond amazed with this office, And Dr. Bender. He really cares and he is so patient with our daughter, at first she was scared and now she really enjoys going. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Bradley. He always achieves what I want to hear during an adjustment, something akin to the sound of celery being crunched coming from my back. Other chiropractors I've gone to could never seem to perform welcome relief that he always provides. Additionally, I have been weird in the past, immediately tensing up about having my neck adjusted and usually go for the gun, rather than getting the typical treatment. Such is not the case with Dr. Bradley, who puts me at ease, plus he's very personable and friendly. I've been happy with all of the CMTs I've seen there, and my current CMT, Darl is excellent, friendly and reliable. Also, the environment is very calming, and the massage chairs they have in the waiting area are a nice bonus if you get there early. This place may have the best chiropractors but I was very disappointed with my massage. I booked a 60 min appointment. [This was the day after I went to the location in North Park and the massage therapist I was waiting to see for two months ( Cole - who was recommended to me ) was substituted with a woman without alerting me. I was very much looking forward to my 90 min massage with Cole. The woman, Francesca, was very sweet though and helped me find something for the next day at the Mission Hill location. ] I was not told to come in early and the long questionnaire and paperwork and initial questions as a first time patient took 15 + minutes at least - then I got ready and few minutes later Darryl came in and told me that as we were short on time he could only do my back ( I was looking forward to a full body massage not just a back rub but I understood) . Darryl was very nice but I don't think he understood I wanted my shoulders and back and NECKactually *massaged* - not just pressure applied. I asked few times. I mentioned kneading. I needed badly my neck and shoulders to be massaged but I got a one minute massage and maybe 35 min plus of pressure applied. Not what I pay $90 plus tip ( and yes I still tipped 18 percent) Afterwards, I told Darryl my back felt better ( even though I would have liked to have had an actual massage) but my shoulders were still very stiff and he suggested a bath with Epsom salts .. that is a great idea but usually after a massage the tension is gone! I made the motion with my hand of " kneading" and told him this is what I wanted and he said " grasping". Something lost in translation I guess. My shoulders are still stiff and I feel like I totally wasted my money ( I actually wanted to go to the man with the massage chair at Whole Foods afterwards to get a neck massage but alas he was not there.) Advice for the business 1. Tell people if the massage therapist you book with is not available. Do not substitute last minute. No one wants surprises. 2. Tell people to come in 20 minutes early for the first time: the paperwork is like at a doctor's office and there is an initial consult before starting, consent form etc. 3. Listen to client's requests for massage. Update: back and shoulders hurt for few days after I came in. I mentioned strong pressure as in traditional Swedish massage, not "point pressure" which actually hurt. Thank you !! read more

I love Dr. Kerri. I run ultra marathons. So my feet are super important. I managed to get the dreaded "plantar fasciitis" after the last one. It got so bad I could barely walk. Most times you have to come once a week for visits and it takes time to get under control. Weeks turn to months and the healing is slow. She's personable and has a fun personality. I had high hopes and was excited based on reviews/location, but... I called multiple times last week with back pain as a potential new patient, and after researching what Doctor I wanted to see, I decided on Dr Paul and booked an appointment 4 days out. The office stated that they could not verify any patient's insurance for 5 days, and couldn't even confirm if they took Anthem PPO, so I called my insurance to verify which Doctors were covered under my plan and booked Dr Paul accordingly. Upon walking in with hopes of having my pain relieved, they told me to fill out a form and then Dr Bradley would see me... "Dr. Bradley? Who's that?" I asked, as I never had inquired about seeing him. She stated that's who I was booked to see. I corrected her that I was confirmed to see Dr Paul after 15 minutes on the phone with their office last week, and she informed me that not only does he not work in this office, but if I wanted to go to North Park, he wasn't available until next week - another full week of waiting. I could've been seen much sooner by another practice and have been needlessly waiting in pain for days... but most concerning is that they would've created a clear financial issue that would've had my insurance rejecting the claim as Dr Bradley was not verified as approved under my insurance. I walked in right before closing on NYE to use up the rest of my FSA and everyone else seemed to have the same idea because it was busy! She was the only one left but she took the time to listen to my needs and answered all of my questions when it came to choosing which chiropractor I should she. Not once did I feel rushed or unwelcomed and I couldn't be happier with her recommendation. Dr. Kate, Reason #2 why you need to try this place. I've seen other chiropractors in the past but have never experienced a visit as medically thorough as hers. She really knows her stuff! I have a neurological disorder and wanted to incorporate holistic methods into my treatment plan. She took the time to do a full assessment while explaining what she was testing for and how we can improve function throughout future visits. She then gave me my first adjustment which provided instant relief that is only just starting to fade away. Normally, my back hurts again the next day. We found this place after a car crash & absolutely love going to Darrel. I have constant tension headaches & neck/trap pain while my boyfriend has a semi-slipped disk that causes lower back pain when not managed correctly. We're both very active & stretch quite often, but these massages make a massive difference in our day to day. Darrel's technique is low, slow & painful. But the results are magic!! Highly recommend. The only reason why I put 4 starts instead of 5 is because the initial masseuse I went to did a horrible job. She didn't listen at all to my needs & put little to no pressure & I actually was more sore afterwards. But since my boyfriend had Darrel his first time, he loved it & wanted to go back. I've been suffering with excruciating neuropathy in my feet that's been preventing me from sleeping, running, and basically living my normal life.
