Rolls were really good. The chicken fried chicken was pretty good. They have a buffet with ribeye on Sundays.

I love Chisholms restaurant! This place is the ultimate in small town hospitality! Good food. Great service! Full of locals. Life doesn't get any better The have a wonderful lunch buffet, complete with homemade deserts! If you're anywhere near Godley, this place is totally worth the stop! If your around for breakfast, the biscuits and gravy are the best I have ever had! Jim

I see a lot of food reels and this place came up one morning with a sweet lady showing off the buffet. I live in the North Dallas area near the high five. 2 months later I left early from work and picked up my buddy and trekked 1 hour and 50 minutes to get there on a Thursday night for their BBQ buffet. It was the best 18.99 I've ever spent. The food was delicious, the buffet and restaurant was very clean. If you are borderline diabetic you may want to get a diet coke, because their sodas are served in 32 oz cups. I must have drank a gallon of root bear. Will have to come back out with my family and friends for ribeye night in the near future. Definitely recommend and worth the drive.

I ordered takeout for lunch and got a patty melt with fries. It did not disappoint. Their food always hits the spot. Every restaurant has their own little spin on a patty melt and I like Chisholm's because it's not too greasy and it's very meaty. If you prefer a lot of grilled onions, go ahead and add extra when you place your order. The only thing that I think could make this better is if they came up with their own special sauce, kind of like they have for their Philly cheesesteak.

Service is very good. The food was even better. I would definitely recommend not a whole lot of people there but definitely have room for plenty. Need to go back when they have the buffet.

I've been wanting to go to Chisholm's for a while. I was finally back out in Texas and made a point to go to Godley and check it out. Even though I made it there near the end of lunch time, the buffet was well stocked, and I was able to get plenty of food. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The food was extremely delicious. I will definitely be back.

We hosted a surprise birthday lunch for my dad at Chisolm's on Sunday 4/12/26 and it was perfect! I made a reservation a week in advance and they had everything ready and waiting for us when we arrived. The food was delicious (all-you-can-eat chicken fried steak, salad bar, sides and dessert)...and they kept the buffet replenished on a busy Sunday. Priscilla took excellent care of our group of 18 guests. She and the entire staff showed us top-notch hospitality and true kindness. Our family and friends are forever grateful. Such a great way to celebrate my amazing dad. Thank you, Chisolm's!

The dining room is separated from the bar area. It has 10' side walls and open, high ceilings. There's a couple of TVs in the dining room and a couple of ceiling fans. There's HVAC vents hanging down and there are 2 mini splits. It's nearly 100F outside and it's comfortable enough (not real cool) in here. Our server, Penelope, was quite pleasant. She was able to answer our food questions and give us recommendations. They use handheld order taking devices. I like that. I had a Shiner Boch to start and my wife had a Margarita rocks - no salt. Both drinks came out lightning fast. My beer was nice and cold and her margarita was real tasty and not too sweet. For dinner, I ordered the smaller order of Fried Catfish with a side. I had Tots. The fish filet was large, thin-battered, crispy and hot. The tots side was huge, crispy, hot and tasty. A great fried food meal. Took some of it home too. My wife ordered the Street Tacos. She was able to eat 2 of the 3 and she enjoyed them. Their homemade salsa was good and it had some heat to it. We brought her 3rd taco home. Pricing was fair. Service was great and fast. Good tasted great. We'll be back to the Break Room.

This restaurant has wonderful space--they have indoor seating and then a separate, HUGE pavilion. We opted for the pavilion because it is dog-friendly. It was perfect--multiple TVs, long bench-style tables for parties of all sizes, a stage for live music, a small bar area, and outside of it, pickleball courts! To eat, I ordered some "Mozzarella Cheese sticks," a "Brisket Sandwich," and a side of "Mac and Cheese." The cheese sticks came out fresh with cheese melted and dangling with every bite as it should. The brisket in the sandwich was moist and tender and the Mac and cheese was also very flavorful and delicious. I topped it off with some sweet tea. The cherry on top for us was the wonderful customer service--a manager/owner came out and spoke with us, asked where we were from and thanked us for coming by. Great hospitality. We had an amazing experience here and would recommend Massey's to anyone!! Can't wait to come back whenever we're in town.

My wife and I were in Glen Rose for a weekend getaway…read more The hotel we stayed in recommended Massey's and had their live music schedule posted in the lobby. We love live music. We really enjoy good BBQ. We were not disappointed! Massey's is located on the highway between Glen Rose and Granbury, adjacent to the golf course. The building is decorated with pages that kids colored. There's an arcade. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The live music takes place in the outdoor seating area. I ordered the Massey Mess with pulled pork. It's a frito pie with delicious BBQ. The serving is massive. My wife had the loaded baked potato with brisket. She couldn't finish hers either. Both dishes were delicious. The meat was tender and full of flavor. All the ingredients were fresh. The service just couldn't be beat, beginning with the owner. Todd Massey himself greeted us as we came in and gave us a warm welcome. He answered all our questions about the menu. How often does THAT happen? The serving staff is sweet, friendly, and attentive. We never had to wait. They brought our food to us and checked on us often. Free refills on drinks. The music venue is very family friendly and roomy. There are fans on the perimeter and ceiling fans to keep everyone comfortable. The lighting was great and the sound of the band was too. There are ample clean bathtrooms. We sat there on a Saturday evening eating delicous BBQ and listening to good music. There were kids playing in the grassy area behind the pavillion. Couples got up and danced to their favorite songs. There was a nice breeze blowing. In the distance you can see the golf course. Folks, it just doesn't get much better than this. Mr. Massey even made sure we had a good time and thanked us for coming as we left.

Absolutely Outstanding Dining on the Square - Christina's Never Disappoints!…read moreChristina's has become one of our absolute favorite restaurants in Granbury. The location right on the square is perfect, and the ambiance is warm and inviting, ideal for a special night out or a celebratory dinner. The food is consistently excellent. The Chilean sea bass is a standout, perfectly cooked every time. The seared scallops are wonderful, with a beautiful crust and tender inside. I've had the salmon multiple times and it's always nicely seared on the outside and wonderfully tender and flaky. For appetizers, the pear & Brie crostini is a must-order sweet, savory, and absolutely delicious. Yes, it's a bit on the pricier side, but the quality, presentation, and service more than justify it. This is a busy spot (especially on weekends), so reservations are highly recommended. From start to finish, everything about Christina's feels special. Attentive service, beautiful plates, and food that tastes like it was made with care. If you're in Granbury, make the time to eat here -- you won't regret it. We'll definitely be back again soon!
