Still being rude to the customers. They did put the tea with attitude on our table when we asked for the tea to be re prepared. It was served cold, and light. I like this place, thats why i kept coming and supporting. But i am not sure anymore.

Looking for coffee or tea!? Come here to get your fix! They offer plenty of tea options. I got an ice coffee with a pump of caramel-a little too sweet for my taste buds but over all good. I did enjoy the carrot cake-it was just right and not too sweet. The cream on top though a bit too much. I'd love to try their teas next time. Plenty of parking. Don't for get to take a pic with the cute giant cup outside.

When you walk in it's like a cute shop full of coffee and tea items, and then as you walk in more you see the service counters. There are so many delightful treats! Cakes! Cookies! Candies! All sorts of hot and cold tea and coffee drinks. I tried a tea latte called All That Jazz. It was pretty good! I also got the last slice of tiramisu and I felt pretty lucky about that! There are tables and chairs to sit in, and there is a cute outdoor porch like area with trees around it. It's on westnedge but the deck felt like it was more secluded. The staff were friendly and helpful and the drinks came out in a timely fashion. I'd recommend coming here to meet a friend and chat. It was the perfect place. I bet it would be nice to do work or study, too.

This place is an EXCELLENT hidden spot in Portage. Parking can be TIGHT as it is located in a shopping complex. Walking in there's it legit gives me Professor Snape's potion class covers literally, there are 3 big walls with just rows upon rows upon rows of various teas. Fruit, dark, light, green, Asian, caffeinated etc. You pick a flavor and you scoop it, and boom! There you go! The workers were super knowledgeable AND there's an entire little cafe in the shop as well. Check this place out!

Very nice place, and I'm shocked I haven't been here more! They're really nice inside, even to the tea-rookie like myself. They'll let you smell and look at the loose teas they sell. Order a tea to dine in and you get a pot, they'll even refill the water if you want! Oh and it's not just teas! Chocolates, truffles, quiches and more! Sometimes there's sandwiches for lunch too. Grab a delicate chocolate-y treat to take home. Lots of tea related things to buy at the shop as well, new teapots, diffusers, treats and more!

Absolutely obsessed with Chocolatea was my favorite spot all through college, and I still go every time I'm in kzoo! We got the Matcha Made in Heaven -- a valentines matcha with strawberry and white chocolate. So good, would definitely get it half sweet next time. Their selection of loose leaf tea is very diverse and are all tasty (as long as you steep them at the correct temperature... tea temp matters). Their staff is always super sweet. One barista has homemade natural soy candles for sale in the shop! We were SO tempted to buy the chai candle, it was amazing. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer when we can sit on the patio

This place is absolutely an Oasis in the middle of the desert that is Westnedge. You can check out my previous reviews for all my detailed drooling over all the amazing teas and confections here, but I had to update my review to say how excited I am that they've now partnered with Victorian Bakery to offer their incredible delicacies to the South Portage area. Popped in today to treat myself to some sweets for my upcoming birthday and what coming birthday and was thrilled thrilled to see Victorian Bakery cream puffs and other baked delicacies and their pastry display. I am currently enjoying one of the best pastries I've ever had alongside some tremendous Earl Grey decaf and am so excited I was able to support two of my favorite businesses in one stop today! La! Don't forget -- when you shop local the calories don't count, amiright?

Great atmosphere, cute and quaint my wife loved it. All the goodies, Candys, and cakes was surprising. Plus the tea was phenomenal, try the banana boat, my wife loved it and I recommend Gilligan's Island. Everyone was so friendly inside.

    Sweet choices aplenty

Yup. Chocolatea is still the best. I love this place. The drinks and the food are great, and the staff are incredible! I went in to quickly pick up a couple things for Christmas, and I walked out encouraged after a sweet chat with Holly and laden with a few extra sweet treats from her for the wife and kids. If you're looking for tea, chocolate or a warm conversation, this is the place to go.

We step in and nobody is in sight but within about 20 seconds someone came into the main room and greeted us. We were looking at all the sweet treats and settled on 6 milk chocolate peanut butter cups for 60 cents each. I enjoyed them, but it would have been an extra bonus if they had used sea salt like they did with different items and charged a touch more. Everything was reasonably priced and they had some unique items, like chocolate covered orange peels. If you're looking for some nuts, chocolate or gummies for your significant other and are in the Kalamazoo area I'd come in and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Some things are made here and other things are bought, fyi. I do think this is info that should be apparent and not something you should have to ask, since everything is repackaged with their own label. They do roast the nuts and make the brittle there. I normally love chocolate dipped pretzels but the coating on those and the graham crackers is way too thick, disappointing. The whole point is to have the contrast between the crunch and the chocolate. The prices are reasonable and the woman who helped me was very nice. I would stop in again to try some other things.

I've come here twice to buy treats I can give as gifts. Taste of Heaven offers gourmet popcorn,…read morecrispy rice treats, caramel apples, chocolate-covered pretzels, and more. Everything is nicely packaged and labeled with ingredients. The popcorn, available in both sweet and savory flavors, tastes great--much better than that break-your-teeth stuff you can buy in bulk at the grocery store. Around $3-$6 for a small bag that one person could finish by himself, the offerings are pricey. Again, I only shop here for special occasions. I love that they also carry a small selection of specialty sodas. I drink pop almost never, but if I see a unique flavored pop in a bottle, I'm suddenly all about it. Here I've found Jones Soda flavors I've never seen before. They also sell greeting cards. See? A very present-friendly place. I've always received excellent customer service. The employees are friendly and available to answer questions. You are able to sample any of their popcorn flavors. I do wish they were more proactive about serving their caramel apples though. I bought one and asked "Can you cut it up?" The employee responded, "Yes, that's how I'd eat it." You missed my point, sir; I wanted to know if you could physically cut my apple so that I could conveniently eat it on my way home. Oh well.
