Best brunch I've had! Everything was better than we had expected and our food came out quickly. We started with the Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Roll, which was really good. Usually cinnamon rolls don't have enough icing but this was the exact opposite problem. Lots of icing and deliciousness. Only critique is that it could have been warmer and a bit too much icing... I got the Spinnaker omelette, which I also recommend. More often, omelettes can be under-seasoned, but this was perfect. I also got the hash browns, which were cooked to exactly my liking: not too crispy and not undercooked. LF got the Very Berry French Toast, which was pretty good. A little too sweet for my liking, but I think he enjoyed it. His hash browns were also cooked exactly to his liking: extra crispy. Our server even double checked that it's how he prefers them. The lobster Benedict was delicious but I wish they would use a little more lobster, I didn't notice very many chunks in it. Rating: four stars We went here for brunch on a Sunday. They don't take reservations, but they validate parking for three hours, and the wait isn't too long. I love going to this restaurant in the summertime. The location is right next to the Spokane River, so you get beautiful views while you eat. And the staff has always been friendly. Oh, trusty Le Peep. The food is usually good, rarely great. But what IT IS, is consistent with speed, cleanliness, good service, and that beautiful waterfront view. The wife and I decided to check out this eatery today when our errand was done. Pretty nondescript appearance on the outside. The inside was nice but nothing that really stands out. I would give 10 stars if I could! We took a group of 73 graduates on their senior trip to Silverwood. I love Le peep in Boise they are allergy friendly (I have celiac) but also extremely delicious!!! I ended up eating one and gave the other to my husband as he was still hungry from his breakfast. The Eighteen Wheeler came with two French toasts, two eggs, breakfast potatoes and four sausage links. My husband said the French toasts were tasty and the sausage had good flavor but the potatoes were sparce and he was still hungry after eating all of his food. There are paid parking lots across the street and all you have to do is enter your license plate number on an IPad once you enter the restaurant for validation. It came with peasant potatoes; if peasant potatoes means cold, hard, and stale then they hit the mark. The crepes were cold also with no steam escaping and the 'melted cheese' was hard already. The waitress said she brought the order out right away so I can assume a problem in the kitchen. Bottom line is the crepes were pre-made with a poor attempt at reheating and I had an allergic reaction to mold after eating there, including a headache, gut aches, etc. I will not be eating there again. Also, we requested a booth and were seated by the kitchen door, where the busboy, waitress and manager congregated to monitor patrons. Do not pre-make food; items should be heated individually before assembling. Premaking food like crepes with meat and cheese subjects patrons to food borne illness. My boyfriend and I were passing through Coeur d'Alene during a ski trip road trip and decided to stop at Le Peep because we love the one in Omaha. We ended up having the BEST experience. We met the owners, who were incredibly friendly and genuinely excited to hear how much we love the Omaha Le Peep--it made us feel right at home.
