    French toast
    Joshua P.

Tucked up on the corner of 4th and prairie. The inside was a little dark , nothing fancy or fun. There is "MOO" sound that goes off every 30 min or so. That's about it when it comes to the cow theme. The food was overpriced , small portions and mediocre at best. The waitress was kind, but after taking our orders she walked by once and said "it's good isn't it" and never came back to fill our drinks or ask if we needed something until she brought our check at the end. She hyped up the food like it was award winning. The French toast had no flavor , neither did the syrup that came with it , like it was watered down. The biscuits and gravy was a waste! The biscuits were a little hard and grainy and tasted like a gluten free option. The gravy wasn't that good either. The "homemade" sausage was a small glob of overcooked meat. Like a shriveled hamburger patty. The avocado Beny was decent. Although I don't know if a small dollop of avocado counts as "avocado" . The portions were small !! Service was "eh" , atmosphere was bland , and the food was not the best. Paid $80 for 4 people (with tip) and no drinks. Won't be coming back ! Incredibly disappointed

Great B&G. Biscuits were cheddar, and so light...

We tried another popular place, and the wait was going to be longer than my ADHD would allow, so Plan B turned out to be juuuust fine. Such nice folks here, and they were pretty busy on a holiday weekend, but a few things really impressed me. We were in and outta there in under 45 mins, and that's what we were looking for on a cruisin' morning. And--the food. It was amazingly hearty, yet lite at the same time. Yes, I know that doesn't make sense, haha. But it also meant there wouldn't be a doggie box following us around during our busy day. I ate all mine....and then finished hers. Didn't eat till after 8PM later in the day, but that was expected. We'll have to try their sister resto in Spokane Valley...

    The Stupid Cow. Great food.

The best biscuits and gravy I've had in a long time. The gravy was made from scratch and the sausage patty was hand pressed.

The steelhead bowl was so good, great portion and satisfying! The citrus steak tacos were also delicious, it comes with two but we ordered 3 and it was plenty. Can't wait to go back asap

In all…read morehonesty, that is why I was in no rush to try this business as I tend to enjoy more comfy food, but we have some friends that prefer the upscale life. That being said, service was very good. That's the high point. The WINGS were a disappointment. They were akin to Costco's precooked wings, but these were all about presentation versus good taste. Try not petrifying the meat would be a good start. I had one of the hamburger plates. I really liked the fries. These were well prepared. The hamburger on the other hand was lacking any uniqueness or even quality beef. So if you are one of those people that believes a hamburger should be a culinary experience, this is not the dish you want to get here. Okay, I hate to be the negative Nelly, but the worst part of the upscale experience was the crescendo of noise. It crept up on you as the lunch crowd moved in. It was seriously hard to communicate at your own table. The decor offers little to no sound mitigation. Seriously, consider acoustic tiles. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Prices were fair, given our current economic conditions.
