    Rice cake sausage skewer

Got this delivered through UberEats and it was great! The soy garlic gizzard was so flavorful and crispy, and the spicy garlic half chicken was well fried and coated with an addicting sauce. I also really liked the rice cake sausage skewer which was crispy and flavorful, and the kimchi was also quite good. Worth it for the korean fried chicken craving!

***Not the actual name! This is now CM Chicken*** I came in tonight before 3:00 that's the time their website says it's closed. I placed my order before 2:45 because that's the time what the "manager" says that they are actually closed. I order from the kiosk because they don't take live orders. Paid in advance only for the "manager" to tell me that they closed the kitchen and I am due a refund in a few days (depending on my bank) I AM DONE with this place!

During my "hungry girl day in." I Ordered the whole chicken soy garlic tikkudak & mozzarella sticks via UBER. My order came out to 62 bucks! This is probably the worst Korean fried chicken I ever had. The chicken taste as if it was sitting all day long. I'm so disappointed I wasted my money. I stepped outside and gave it a homeless person. Too much money spent just to throw away!

This is one of the places in Atlanta I can't believe I didn't try sooner!! I'd passed by this korean fried chicken spot in Duluth & Midtown and my boyfriend and I finally decided to try it for takeout. Ordering over the phone was fine, and the order was ready within 10 minutes. We ordered the garlic soy & and garlic spicy chicken wings and they were GREAT! The garlic soy was more like a dry rub, but had fantastic sauce and flavor. The garlic spicy was realll saucy and the garlic spicy was great - personally I'd love more spice. Both were still crispy and incredible size for wings! At $13.99 for 10 wings, this place will keep us coming back!

Went at 4ish on Saturday. It was plenty of seating. Orders are placed via kiosks. The order was complete at 4:24. It was ready at 4:31. Nice. First off, it's very pricey. When you order the wings, there are no size options. It's just wings. $14.99. The traditional menu states is 14 ounces. The chicken was fresh when we got it. Both orders seemed like mainly drums. 2/3 flats out of 10. Bummer. The sauces were very good. But the chicken was drenched in the sauces so some (most) of the chicken got super soggy. We had the garlic soy and the garlic spicy. I'm glad I didn't get the red hot pepper. The garlic spicy had my nose running. There was no consistency in the chicken sizes. Some of the drums were HUGE. I'm not a fan. Overall. 7/10. A side of fries is $4.55. Excessive for a small cube styrofoam. The fries were horrible. We literally ate a few and threw them in the trash. Not taste. Hint of onion like maybe onion rings were battered or fried with them.

I LOVE the Choong Man Chicken in Duluth so when I found out it was coming to Georgia Tech I had to get some. It definitely did not disappoint and stands up to the other location. I got the Garlic Spicy Chicken and it was ... so good. I don't know how to describe it except a ton of flavor packed into this sauce that's slathered on super crispy chicken. You get a whole box of drumsticks for only $14 which I think is way worth it. I love the crispy breading on the chicken and the meat is juicy and tender and can practically melt in your mouth. All the sauce offerings are absolutely delicious - you can't really go wrong. I ALWAYS send my friends to Choong Man Chicken if they ask about Korean Fried Chicken. Hands down one of the best KFC places around. I'm so glad they opened up a Midtown location so Atlanta can finally taste what real good KFC tastes like!

Outside at night. Storefront. Located in Tech Plaza in the old Tech Taco space. Same strip as Sublime Doughnuts.

One of my favorite Korean fried chicken chains, Choong Man Chicken, opened its first metro Atlanta ITP (inside the perimeter) location in West Midtown, next to Georgia Tech. This location is much more convenient to my home in nearby Atlantic Station, so I have less reason to make the 30-minute drive to Duluth: http://bit.ly/33A5FCv. There's also a CM Chicken in Suwanee and there used to be one in Alpharetta/Johns Creek. This location opened in August 2020 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, Tech students did not and still have not returned to campus in full, so I think that has hurt this business. This space used to be the old Tech Taco: https://bit.ly/3pzVp8m. It's in the same strip as Atlanta favorite Sublime Doughnuts. I placed my order online by following the link on CM Chicken's website: https://www.cmchickengt.com/. I was able to pay online so all I had to do was pick-up in-store. My order was ready and waiting by the time I arrived about 10 minutes later. Fast, but the restaurant didn't seem busy at the time either (a Thursday night around 8pm). I got a couple of my favorites: #6. Snow Onion ($14.99 for a half chicken) - topped with raw sliced onion and a sweet, creamy, mayo-based sauce #9. Garlic Soy Tikkudak ($14.99 for a half chicken) - chicken that has been fried then baked in a "tikku" charcoal oven #22. Cole Slaw ($2.59) I'm happy to report that the food was great. In general, the chicken was extra crispy and delicious. Seeing how this is a franchise of a popular worldwide chain, it appears they've done a pretty good job of getting the company's tried-and-true formulas and recipes right, at least from my experience. This was my first time ordering Snow Onion chicken to-go. As with other foods prepared to-go, CM Chicken serves the onion and sauce in separate containers on the side. If you dine in, the onion and sauce are served on top of the chicken. Of course, serving the onion and sauce on the side made sense so the chicken wouldn't get soggy during transport. My only gripe here is they gave way too many onions and not enough sauce. The amounts of each should have been reversed. Before applying the onion and sauce, the chicken was essentially CM's #1 Fried Chicken which is less expensive than the flavored/sauced chicken options (e.g. $10.99 for a half chicken as opposed to $14.99 for a half Snow Onion chicken). It's just plain fried chicken with not much flavor there. I don't recommend it - definitely get one of the flavored chickens. The raw white onion in the Snow Chicken is very thinly sliced. I'm not sure what they do to the onion, if anything (such as soaking it in cold water), but the onion flavor is mild and not strong at all. It's not like taking a bite out of a fresh raw onion from the grocery store and that's a good thing; otherwise, the Snow Chicken would be overpowered by sharp and pungent onion flavor, which would make it unenjoyable. The white sauce reminds me of a mayo-based sauce one might eat with American potato salad. It's appetizing, creamy, and a little bit sour and vinegary. It goes well on the fried chicken. The Garlic Soy Tikkudak chicken was fantastic. It was wonderfully crispy, crunchy, and scrumptious. The sauce was expectedly sweet and sticky. If you want to try what I consider "classic" or quintessential Korean fried chicken, I recommend the Garlic Soy Tikkudak. It encompasses both the satisfying texture and gratifying flavor of Korean fried chicken, in my opinion. When ordering chicken from CM Chicken, you get the choice of wings, tenders, or half a chicken for the same price or you can go with a whole chicken for more. When ordering a half or whole chicken, every piece will be bone-in and consist of breasts, wings, legs, drumsticks, and thighs. I ordered the Cole Slaw to try and help balance out all the meat. One area I think CM Chicken can improve is their side menu. It's all carbs and/or fried stuff. Yeah, I know, going to a fried chicken joint isn't healthy to begin with, but I do think they can offer some other sides to help offset the heaviness of the rest of the menu. Something other than fries and onion rings. The slaw was yummy. Mayo-based, finely-chopped, and decent portion size. I was pleased. In total, CM Chicken offers over a dozen different kinds of Korean fried chicken types/flavors, from Curry to Red Hot Pepper, with prices generally in line with what I posted above. Most whole chickens run about $22-25 each. I think these prices are reasonable. The prices at Mukja, an independent, locally-owned Korean fried chicken restaurant on the other side of Midtown, run higher. As a Tech alum, I appreciate all the Yellow Jacket decor inside the dining room. There are plenty of tables and a TV for entertainment. Drinks were self-serve. They have a spacious, covered, outdoor patio too. However, there were only three tables out there when I looked. Thanks to Christina (Kristina?) for the sweet and friendly service.

DON'T EAT HERE. Worst CUSTONER SERVICE here. My friend and I were asking questions about if we could add Soy Garlic chicken, and cashier He stares it my eyes and and says "ARE U GONNA ARGUE WITH ME???" and glares for full 3 minutes. When he was clearly being rude and I wanted deesclate and wanted to ask about menu. He glares more without answering then he says "MY NAME IS TOMMY AND IF YOU WANNA CALL THE OWNEEHER NAME IS AMY!!" We were taken back by such negative attitude and service. We still ordered the food. And ate there but "Tommy" guy in the picture with tattoo arm was incredibly rude and startled me and my friend who wanted to spend money here. We ended up ordered Snow onion, and soy garlic. And it escalated for no reason he never came to apologize after 30 minutes of us sitting and eating there. Intentionally ignoring and being rude to us two asian customers

    How it came packaged.

This place is located by Georgia Tech. Its pretty small, but its always a lot of people there when I am doordashing from here. The service at this place is fairly quick and straight to the point for the most part, so I cant say much about if they are friendly or not. But of course they greet you when you walk to the counter. There chicken wings are big in size in my opinion, and came with like 10 pieces of chicken I believe (both flats and drums). So I didnt finish all of that on one sitting of course. But the flavors are really good. Im really picky about my chicken when I do eat it, so I wont say its the best place. I also dont like to much breading on my chicken wings, so thats what I didnt like. But the flavors are there. I ordered the Honey Garlic Chicken flavor.

The Korean food scenes got my wife and I hungry every time! Having been to many of Atlanta's best Korean restaurants over the past decade, Stone Bowl is a clear notch above the rest. The side dishes are just simply better with robust authentic seasoning and unforgettable flavor that leaves you craving for more. The kimchi is spot on for spice but not overwhelming. The potatoes are to die for, cooked to perfection, tender and absorbent of all the nearby flavors. For the first time, we tried the Korean sushi roll (K-Pop Demon Hunters was calling) and it didn't disappoint. Stuffed with fresh cooked bulgogi and veggies, we ate it so fast we were left thinking of Korean sushi rolls had an edge over Japanese sushi rolls! And we also got the poached dumplings for the first time and almost went as fast as the sushi roll. The authentic style of poaching the dumpling made it taste homemade from grandma's kitchen. The sizzling plate of bulgogi was amazingly put down the gullet on top of everything else. Consistently on point and warms the tummy. Service is cordial, but somewhat aloof and distant at times because we would have loved an offer to refill our side dishes, but admittedly they are often busy and we don't go there to expect Michelin dining service levels. We come for the food. Awesome food. And Stone Bowl House will be seeing us again before long.

The glass noodles were of a sweet potato consistency and included several vegetables.
