Salad was nothing to write about -lettuce, grated carrots, olives, cherry tomatoes with a single serve pouch of non-brand name ranch dressing . The order comes in paper plates. Nothing comes with your order,no sides, no yogurt sauce, no hummus, no rosemary fries, no baklava, no hot tea, you have to pay extra for everything. We had to wait a while because meals are cooked to order. The Persian family who runs the place seem polite and few other Persian customers were greeted warmly. Son & daughter of the owners, who took our orders, were very friendly. We were looking for something different so decided to give this a try. read more

Juicy Kabobs - we tried the kobbideh (beef and chicken) plate which was delicious, and chicken kabob skewer which was good too. You must try the garlic rosemary fries with special sauce. I've never really had any middle Eastern food (except baklava) but u I had a restaurant.com coupon so I thought I'd give this place a try. The food was delicious and they were so nice to me in the restaurant. They gave me some delicious hot tea while I waited for my takeout food to be prepared. I'm absolutely in love with this place! Best Persian food I've found since moving here from LA. The owners are usually the ones working and they're super friendly and helpful with any questions. Exceptional! My wife and I had a fantastic takeout dinner last evening. She had the chicken kabob plate and I had the chicken gyro plate. Both chicken dinners were cooked perfect and the rice was delicious. They offer an array of Persian dishes and the prices are very reasonable. Not only did I enjoy the food, but this is clearly a family owned and operated business. The staff, all family members, were very helpful in navigating the menu and making suggestions. The grandmother was working hard in the kitchen, but made it a point to come out to welcome us. Although there was a bit of a language challenge, her kind and welcoming smile quickly made us realize we were welcomed guests and after enjoying our meal, we knew we would be repeat guests. read more

Always wanted to try this place and we finally did. We weren't disappointed as the portion size was generous! The Lamb and Chicken were by far our favorites and were tender and flavorful. After eating here I was so moved by the expirence I felt I should write a review. Firstly I live in the DC metro area where great kabab restaurants are plentiful. While visiting my family for the Christmas holiday we decided to go out and get kabab a traditional middle Eastern/Mediterranean food that has been perfected by Persians through the use of different spices, onion, high quality meat and a marinating process that dates back roughly a 130 years ago (qajar era) to its initial introduction into main stream Persian cuisine. What I witnessed and ate was a assault on the fabric of Persian food culture, thinking back now of what I expirenced a small tear is rolling down my cheek. We all got a different types of kabab kubideh (ground beef) joojeh (chicken) andlamb chops all 3 meats were flavorless the kubideh was tough and a bit dry the joojeh had no real marination or flavor as for the lamb chop they were undercooked and were definitely at the wrong price point for what was served. Rice the foundation of this type of meal fell way short it wasn't the typical high quality rice that should be expected. Skewered tomato that is customary for this dish wasn't skewered but rathered felt microwaved. This meal also includeds (mahsto khear) yogurt with cucumber which at most places and if prepared right is a very rich and smooth tasting garnishing but here the yogurt felt heavy and had a skimpy amount of cucumber in it not to mention zero flavor it almost felt that this place was in the middle of a salt and pepper ration and they were afraid to use any. As for the service were the people behind the counter attentive? Yeah I guess but it doesn't much matter when the food was horrible. read more

I ordered the steak tip kabob dinner with a bottle a water and walked out starving and $14.00 lighter. The plate consisted of a very SMALL salad, a TON of rice, a XTRA LARGE grilled tomato along with five or six pieces of meat. The food tasted ok, but all I could think of is that the meat was marinated in Italian dressing. The place is clean and the people are friendly. In the future when I'm in the area I don't think I will consider making a return visit. I am truly disappointed as I wanted to love this place. read more

Stopped in while driving by after seeing very positive reviews on Yelp. This was well worth jumping off of rt 9 for take out after shopping. I tried 3 main dishes. Lamb, lab gyro and chicken. Side of humus and falafel. Everything as very good. The whole family loves it. The rice with grilled onion and peppers is the perfect touch. The food was prepared fresh with care right in front of me. I was also offered a cup of tea while waiting and found a great conversation with the owner. We stopped by for lunch after noticing the sign while on our way into Burlington Coat Factory. The menu sounded enticing, so we had to try it. The owners were beyond friendly and warm. They were quick to answer any and all questions we had, and allowed us to customize our meals. All of the food was fresh and tasty. The falafel plate was gigantic, filling, and perfectly seasoned. Their yogurt sauce was amazing, the best I've had in quite a while. The chicken tender plate was also staggeringly large and delicious. They had a wonderful chipotle sauce on the side that tasted great. We were there for quite a while, just chatting it up, and eventually the owner even came over with some complimentary Persian saffron teas for us. We tried to pay, but they wouldn't let us. These folks are generous and filled with appreciation for their work and their customers. The prices are right and the meals are exciting. We couldn't help but also enjoy the bon jovi music playing. The owner even mentioned that they try to switch up the menu monthly in order to keep the meals new. We will definitely be back for take out or to sit and have some good conversation again.
