Delicious food, great portions, excellent service and decent prices - the perfect combination for a 5 start experience. The menu is extensive and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We couldn't decide what meat platter to try so we went with the Mediterranean mix which gave an awesome variety - beef koobideg, barg and chicken. The staff was more than happy to bring more pita over as we had our meal, which was great. Looking forward to going back and trying more!

my only gripe is the way i got charged. this koobideh was absolutely delicious and juicy. the rice was amazing, i love the dill and lima beans. the seating outside on a nice weather day was fun until the bees kept smelling my floral perfume lol. the ambiance inside is also nice so wasn't an issue to move inside. our server was very sweet and hospitable. my only thing is they need a koobideh combo plate on the menu, that's a staple at all the persian restaurants. since they don't have one here, she placed an order for one beef koobideh a la carte, one chicken, and the rice but the total was $24 instead of the $19 plate where you get two beef koobideh and that makes no sense because sirloin is more expensive than chicken. the plate also didn't come with a grilled tomato or lavash bread on the side. she was sweet in bringing sumac and butter and raw onion after i asked for sumac. but next time i need them not to overcharge for ordering it separate like that or get the koobideh beef plate and one a la carte chicken koobideh so that the value is worth the cost.

Came here on a Sunday night at 6:30 and had a great meal. We were seated immediately and the service was attentive and quick. The outdoor seating looked nice and the indoor seating was nice and not cramped. The tadiq and various eggplant dishes were fantastic and flavorful. The saffron marinated chicken kebab was quite delicious. Definitely recommend if you're looking for Persian and Turkish food!

Freshly prepared food and friendly service! I pooped in while walking to a friend's place and the shrimp kabob platter (subbed rice for tabbouleh) was great! Nice flavors and filling without being heavy. I'll definitely return & enjoy the patio again (visited in late May).

Decent price for some great kebab, good portions, great rice & yogurt dip. Free side bread was cool too

FOOD 5/5 I was out on a walk and saw that they were open. I've been looking for a falafel joint near Davis since I just moved here. And I found it!! This is probably on par with my other falafel joints in the Bay Area and San Diego. Seasoning, texture, and sauce is on point. Also had the dolmas/ grape leaves which were pretty decent. It's not on par with my other dolmas joints though. SERVICE 5/5 Everything was provided for take out. AMBIANCE 5/5 Great authentic decor. PRICE 4/5 Slightly more expensive than my other falafel joints but it's worth it.

Marvelous Mediterranean food!! We placed our order at the counter, and it was ready about 20 minutes later. Their location is great, and we waited on a rocking bench nearby in Trolley Square. When we took our food home, we found that it's a great portion for the price! The falafel salad was fresh and came with two dressings (I really liked the tahini one). Only two falafel balls though, so it was mostly salad (lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, feta). The falafel was really good - flavorful and not dry. The star of the meal was the Persian lamb shank! It's served with a dill lima bean rice and also came with thin bread. Tender, flavorful meat that fell off the bone! The lamb sauce is tomatoey and thick, which tasted great on the bread as well. I would get this again in a heartbeat. And the best part: we had enough leftovers to enjoy it again the next night! To top off our meal, we got the saffron rice pudding, which was a really nice take on a classic. Served cold, it was flavorful with a nice texture, topped with cinnamon and loaded with slivers of almonds. Would also get again!

Simple, satisfying, and reliable, Mediterranean Grill stayed true to its roots in traditional Mediterranean cusine, delivering a healthy and delicious meal. My partner and I decided to try their chicken and beef barg kabobs, and were pleasantly surprised to recieve a free side of hummus and pita bread with our meal. (They were running a promotion at the time, not sure how often they do this.) We enjoyed everything, & will keep this place in mind for future meals when we need something quick, simple, yet relatively healthy. A great choice for those looking to shed unwanted pandemic pounds!

WOW!!! Bah Bah Bah! his is some of the best Iranian food in Boston. Their menu has so many amazing choices. We started with Kashk-o-bademjan and it was DELICIOUS, and served with fresh pita. For the main course I had chicken and beef soltani. I was blown away. It was served with a huge delicious portion of rice and grilled tomatos. The meat was cooked to absolute perfection. It was so tender and just tasted like heaven. I was able to take half of my plate home for a second meal. I cannot wait to come back here and try everything!!! Merci!!

Spinach 6. Borani - Yogurt and spinach dip - delicious with bread or dollop a bit on a bit of rice.

Hourly's interior is high ceilinged and airy and features the eclectic decor that characterizes eateries on the Square. The menu features a range of seafoods for which it is known - from raw bar staples to lobster. We started with a Paul Buisse Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley and a Hendrick's Extra Dry Gibson up (Finally! A Gibson!) The wine was crisp and dry and a perfect accompaniment to the oysters we ordered. Hourly usually has up to 10 oysters on offer from New England and the Chesapeake. We ordered 2 each of the Paine's Creek, East Beach Blonde, Island Creek, Buttercup, and four of the Mookie Blues. Our favorites were the Buttercups and Mookie Blues. Both are from Maine and are larger with a textured brine and crisp finish. The main course was the Roasted Monkfish Almondine served with a cauliflower puree, raisins, caulilini, brown butter, and capers. The filet was meaty, flavorful and roasted to perfection. We also had the Striped Bass which was served on the bone with snow peas, zucchini, squash, and fava beans. Our server was prompt, attentive, and informative and we could not have been more pleased with the service. One of the genuine joys of dining at Harvard Square is you meet other wonderful, interesting people. The table on one side had two astronomers from MIT while the other had four high school principals from Houston. The conversation was engaging and delightful. Hourly has some strong choices for dessert but it sits next door to Mike's Pastry, a Harvard Square tradition, so we opted to indulge our sweet tooth there. Hourly is a great place to recharge and refresh at Harvard Square.
