    OG breakfast.

Although it's my first time here, I love it. It reminds me of the restaurants from back in the day. Good food. Good prices. Good service. Solid breakfast. Great coffee too.

I love any diner that puts flautas on the menu. It's one of my favorite dishes when you're just hungry and don't want anything overly complex or complicated. It's what I call great grub food. And Brandon's had some delicious flautas. It's just a shame the rice it comes with is so over-loaded with peas and corn. I don't know--when I see rice on the side, I expect it to be rice and nothing but except maybe a little seasoning or sauce. I don't want fried rice and I definitely don't want veggies effing up the rice. It kind of ruined my meal. At least the service was good. Our server was just on the ball and asked just enough to keep aware of when we need anything like refills. The space is kind of smaller compared to the other Brandon's I've been to. But it was still quaint enough and it certainly had enough space for a slow Friday evening. I don't know if this would be the one I go to a lot, but it is definitely the closest. All in all, I liked my meal and, if I'm in the area again, it's nice to have this option somewhat nearby.

    Actual pork chop received

We have eaten at Brandon's quite a few times. This visit was a disappointment. My mother ordered the chicken Swiss sandwich, my wife ordered the French dip, and I ordered the pork chops. My mom and wife were very happy with their choices. The French dip was extremely tender, and the chicken sandwich made my mother smile. On the other hand, the pork chops were way below expectations. I have never had such thin pork chops served at a restaurant, I'm sure no fault of the cook, but they were extremely dry and tough. Unfortunately, the picture in the menu made the pork chops look very appetizing, in reality not so much. My first choice was the fried chicken, but apparently that's been a discontinued menu item and they have not removed it from the menu. On a sidenote, typically when we go there, we order a salad bar along with our meals. Upon arriving, we were notified they were closing an hour early and the salad bar was closed. I know we will eat there again, but not a chance I will order the pork chops.

Food is decent and customer service is okay. However, I recently dined here and ordered a salad bar. When attending the first time i was accosted by a worker, "yanni" who insinuated I was over using the salad bar and taking to go. Do not go here Do better.

While waiting for our dog to have a procedure done at VCA Ontario, we decided to walk over to Brandon's Diner and we're so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The service was fast, and the food hit the spot. I ordered the patty melt, and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly grilled with gooey cheese and flavorful meat. A comforting meal during a stressful day, and a spot we'll definitely return to when visiting the area.

Conveniently located right off the 60 FWY off Vineyard Ave near Carl's Jr. with plenty of parking. I've been to Brandon's, but their Riverside location, so I wanted to try Ontario as I'm a fan of their food. We stopped here this Saturday morning for breakfast. It was busy, but we were seated immediately. The menu consists of different types of food such as breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, burritos, salads, dinner plates, and more. They also have an 'All-You-Can-Eat' buffet on Saturday & Sunday. I had their 'Mixed Berries Crepes' combo with a 'coffee' and side of 'home fries'. Everything tasted amazing with fresh ingredients and a great presentation. The coffee was freshly brewed and very satisfying. Portions are generous, and prices are fair. Service was fast and efficient. Shout out to our server 'Jenesiz', who was extremely attentive and welcoming. I was really impressed with her service. She made sure we had an enjoyable meal. The restaurant is clean and organized with an additional side as 'Cantina' bar with happy hour from 3pm-7pm daily. The restrooms were also very clean during our visit. Overall, we had a great experience at this location and will definitely return.

(I blacked out the servers name because she didn't do anything wrong and I wanted to keep her name confidential)

Been eating here a long time. NEVER EVER A HAD A BAD MEAL. The food and service is wonderful. They just put in new booths and tables, in this last week. Mighty comfortable I must say. I only gave 4 stars for one little thing. They charge for "soda water". That's wild. Very uncommon to get charged for water with gas. I can't have sugar, and I hate diet soda. So the one beverage, other than coffee, that brings me joy is soda water. Mister or mrs. Manager, please consider giving the patrons of your fine establishment, free water, and free soda water.

The food is delicious but I can't lie. My FAVORITE thing about this place is the Cantina's hours!!!!! Yessssssss! Cocktail please and a side of home fries...

Super cool breakfast spot! Service was on point and the food was a lot! I got a veggie omelette and hash browns, it came with biscuits and gravy. Plus a coffee. A nice hole in the wall place to get brunch and hang out.

We were greeted and seated immediately! Service was very efficient- our waitress brought us water and took our order within 5 minutes of being seated :) Kitchen was quick too, as our "frachos" and sandwich arrived really soon after placing our order Everything was wonderful! My friend said the seasoning on the "frachos" was good, and I said it could be the gochujang sauce. We laughed at the shape of how the potatoes were cut (maybe peeled?), as it was unexpected haha. It had the perfect ratio of fries to beef to toppings (red chili peppers, red onion, cilantro)! My friend got full from half of his sandwich, as it was packed with a lot of protein! Interior is pretty, and I personally enjoyed that the lighting was dim. It was actually really quiet for being/having a bar. Though I will add that the restroom was kinda dirty, and another customer and I joked about how there was no paper towels to dry our hands LOL Overall, nice experience!

First the restaurant is extremely clean and welcoming. The interior is really nice. The bar and patio are beautiful. The whole place felt welcoming. The staff provided amazing service. Our waiter was Dillon or Dylan. Sorry if I spelled it incorrectly. He was great and gave us some great recommendations. Even when the shift changes were happening the bar tender came by and said bye as well and wished us a great day. It was a small but nice touch and great customer service. Now what we're all really here for the food and drinks. Drink wise we tried the blood orange paloma, a margarita, and some beers which were all delicious and cold. For the food we started with the brisket fries which were savory and delicious. The fries were thin and crispy which is just the way I like them. We also got the All Da Smoke platter which had chicken, brisket, pulled pork, and pork ribs. It came with 3 sides so we got the corn bread with honey butter, corn, and mac and cheese. Everything was perfectly seasoned and tender. We enjoyed every bite we had. Also one of the best Mac N Cheese I have had in a while to be honest. Overall the food, drinks, staff, and ambiance were a perfect 10 out of 10 for me. I can't wait to come back and eat here again. Thank you Dylan and Mule Car Smokehouse for the delicious food and hospitality.

We actually came on my birthday in April (sorry the review is so late), but the staff all signed a birthday card for me and left confetti on the table. Nice touch. The food. We had the lava shrimp to start and of course the freshly baked loaf. I can't say anything bad. It's all fresh and the flavors are amazing. I got the venison chops cooked rare. Wow. First time I've had venison like this, and man. The presentation was cool. Waiter brought it out covered in glass and opened up the container in front of me so I could see the smoke leave the plate. As a visual person, it did hamper the ambiance for me, especially since I was sitting right next to it. We were the only table that wasn't a couple, and even when it got more crowded, the noise level was pleasantly low. Our server asked us how we felt about salt, which was very much appreciated. AMARETTO SOUR: 3/5. Very sweet, and orange-forward which is a new flavor profile for this cocktail for me. BREAD & WHIPPED BUTTER: 5/5. Served warm. The bread was pillowy soft, and the butter, (which was more air than butter and therefore definitely zero calories), was delightfully salty. BRUSSELS SPROUTS: 5/5. I've been burned by so many poorly done sprouts that I don't order them anymore, but my partner wanted to try it and I'm so glad we got them. Zero bitterness, and crispier than an newly minted dollar bill. OCTOPUS: 5/5. Grilled to perfection, soft, not rubbery. The spices in the romesco sauce were aromatic and punchy. STEAK TARTARE: 4/5. Good. These crostinis were the most crostinis to have ever crostinied. The perfect vessel for the rich steak. MUSHROOM SOUP: 5/5. This is the first time I've found balance between being truffle-forward without being overbearing. Usually I'm done after about two spoonfuls, but all 3 bowls (shared between 6 of us) were cleaned. SURF & TURF: 5/5. Owen's checks internal and external temperature, which means steak is cooked true to the way it's ordered. More impressive is that they didn't overcook the lobster. A moment for the gorgeous blue plates; they are heirlooms, and only 7 of them exist in the world. CHILEAN SEA BASS: 4/5. For me, the radish did a lot of heavy lifting in balancing out the saltiness of the soy vinaigrette and richness of the fish itself. STEAK FRITES: 4/5. Again, perfectly cooked steak. I only had one fry, and I thought it was a damn good fry, but my partner did say it eventually got salty. And he loves his salt. CAMPING TRIP: 5/5. The crust on the salmon, the theatrics of the hot rock, the fresh veggies. It's a classic for a reason. MAITAKE MUSHROOM: 4/5. While it was good, I didn't find myself continuously reaching for more, as I nearly always do with mushrooms. ROBUCHON POTATOES: 5/5. AKA indulgent, buttery velvet. A labor of love well received. STRAWBERRY TART: 5/5. While the strawberries were phenomenal, the vanilla (?) custard was a little heavy for me. My mom inhaled it though. CRÈME BRÛLÉE: 5/5. So good. I don't know when it became normalized to serve crème with an Ozempic-thin layer of brûlée, but thank you Owen's for not doing that.

No sooner than when thatserver left with our drink order, another seever came to our table and asked if we were ready to order. We explained that our drink order was just taken, but we some time to look over the menu. Almost as soon as the second server departed our table, our drink order arrived. She then asked if we would like any appetizers, we ordered a half order of the cheese bread. we also placed our entrees order. Half order of cheese bread: $8.45; Pub Fish & Chips: $27.45 California Reuben with Garlic Fires: $21.45 + $2.95 Two Sodas: $@.95 each Pre-Tip Total: $75.36 We boith tried a piece of the cheese bread. Wow! We have not cheese bread such as this version before, and it was absolutely delicious! We ate it plain without dipping it into the accompanying marinara sauce (which I tasted and reminded me of a commercially prepared pedestrian, marinara sauce). This bread instantly has became one of our favorite appetizers to order at a Heroes branded restuarant. Ww barely had time to finish off our first piece of cheese bread when our entrees arrived. My wife's fish and chips looked really inviting to eat. The serving amount of fsih was appropriate and generous for the menu pricing. My wife enjoyed her lightly battered fish which was not greasy and oily to eat. She also devoured her coleslaw which she is very selective of how's it made, and the level of tanginess, which was just right for her. I dove into my California Reuben which swaps out the sauerkraut for coleslaw: all the other traditional ingredients are still used. The sandwich was generously stuffed with meat and coleslaw. Be sure to ask for extra napkins because this sandwich is messy but delicious to eat! The only minor gripe we have was the amount of times out table was approached by a whole slew of staff constantly asking us if we needed anything etc. One to three time during a meal for us is adequate, but it seems like the staff was overcompensating for some previous comments made about several Heroes restaurants having staff who perefer to talk amongst themselcves near the bar than attend to their diners. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here and look forward to eating at Heroes and Roscoes restaurants often. Hoping the owners will consider opening in the Murrieta/Temeucla area in the near future!
