Large round for up to 10
    Dave R.

Attention! Ladies who lunch! A quiet and peaceful place with large round tables for 10 that have the large lazy Susan in the center. Ambiance is unique, with stone walls and muted tones. The blossom theme is at work. A large, varied Asian menu with both Vietnamese and Chinese offerings. My Cashew Chicken was loaded with cashews, and the vegetables were fresh, tender, and delicious. Many baby corn ears too! Meat was tender and 1st quality. This is a cloth napkin place! Overall, a pleasant experience; however, the waiter was rushed and too busy. Example: too long to order and when serving drinks and covered tureen of soup didn't mention it WAS soup! Left me guessing Soup? Sauce? Or condiment? Nugget shopping center with good access and parking. It might be 5 star? But I'll have to return.

    Chicken and CHICKEN WITH BROCCOLI

I just had the most incredible food that I ordered on GrubHub, I had this restaurant bookmarked as one that I really wanted to try, which I didn't even realize until I headed to my Yelp to do this review!! I had the best salt and pepper prawns I've ever had, I got it without the onions, but it had lightly fried jalapeños and red bell pepper, the prawns were huge, succulent, and tender. The very lightest breading, which I even hesitate to call it that, it was more like a dusting of flower or cornstarch with salt and pepper. It was fantastic. I also had the chicken with broccoli (and carrots), the chicken was super tender, the broccoli had a nice snap to it and the carrots were cooked perfectly. The sauce was on the salty side, which I like, as broccoli beef is usually too sweet for me, but for some reason I just really wanted broccoli tonight. I also ordered the bao buns with barbecue pork, and they were by far the best ones I've ever had. Tons of meat, pickled veggies, cilantro, all super fresh, on the most tender steamed bao buns. If you have never eaten here, you must go. It's a little dangerous it's probably only about five minutes from my house. And to think, for the last year I've been looking for an Asian fusion fix, driving into Roseville for over priced, over hyped dishes, and I discover this place, which was right in my front yard! So happy right now

No Bahn Mi ;( Now that we have that out of the way.. came here to grab a quick lunch. I got greeted by the host who was friendly. I decided to order to go, so I grabbed a menu and sat down in the front where they have a nice comfy bench. He offered me some water while I waited. I ordered 2 vermicelli bowls with pork and chicken. I did request for no noodles and all vegetables. ($18/bowl) I also ordered the kids chicken pho ($12) The 2 bowls were good. The chicken was cooked well, and was nice and tender. And the pork was flavorful as well. A bit on the pricey side considering if didn't come with the usual egg rolls and fish cakes that that dish typically comes with. The biggest disappointment was the kids pho! I prepared the dish for my daughter in a bigger bowl and she usually likes it. In this case, she hardly ate it. She said it was too salty. I thought she was over acting so I tried it. S A L T Y! I had to add some hot water to it, but it just wasn't good. The broth was just not hitting. Overall, it's a cute place, but overpriced. Don't think I'll return :(

    Evil Jungle Chicken

The evil jungle chicken is the best dish I have had in my life! I HIGHLY recommend it!! The service is amazing, and the ambiance is super peaceful and relaxing with the blossoming tree in the dining room. Definitely will be back!! :)

    Mongolian Beef
    Ann H.

I decided to visit this establishment for a take out order during my lunch break. I ordered the Mongolian beef lunch special with steamed rice and a pot sticker. I really liked how tender the beef was. Although, the sauce tasted more sweet rather than spicy. Which is not how Mongolian beef is typically prepared and not my preference.

I said yes, and we went into the restaurant and noticed the decor and the lighting. After walking in and being seated we were then presented with our Drink options and since we are Pepsi people we chose Pepsi. In that same breath we also ordered Crab Rangoons, aka WonTons and when they came out they were hot and fresh and delicious. The amazement though came when we grabbed our Pepsis they were Ice Cold, to the point where they felt like they were on the brink of freezing. But that was a good thing because it was Ice Cold and Refreshing. We then ordered our food and I ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork with Chicken Fried Rice, and my wife ordered the same entree but with Chicken Chow Mein. The food came out several minutes later and it was hot, and also delicious. So far this is a win for my book because not only was the food good but the friendliness of the staff was also delightful to work with as well. With having to try and find a good Chinese place in the area, its always delightful when you find something that you like and the people at the restaurant are friendly as well. Time for Dim Sum...because apparently every time I watch Crazy Rich Asians, my stomach turns into a…read moredramatic main character and demands dumplings immediately. Normally, I hit up Yue Huang, but lately it's been giving "long wait, mild heartbreak." So I decided to branch out and found this hidden gem in Granite Bay...and let me tell you...BEST decision. You walk in and BAM!!!! Old school Chinese restaurant vibes. Red booths, classic decor, slightly run down in that "if these walls could talk, they'd recommend everything on the menu" kind of way. And if you know, you KNOW...that's when the food is about to slap. We came with a mission (aka hungry and slightly unhinged) and ordered: baked BBQ pork buns, shumai, har gow, shrimp rice rolls, pineapple baked custard buns, fried shrimp balls, and soup dumplings. Basically, if it could be steamed, fried, or stuffed...we said yes. It's clearly family run, which I love. Mom is running the show like a boss, kids are hustling, and since it was Mother's Day...CHAOS. Delicious chaos. Food flying out, servers holding trays of dumplings like treasures, stopping at your table and you're like "YES, THIS IS MY MOMENT"...and then they walk away to another table. Emotional rollercoaster. So many "Ooooh yay!" followed by "Ohhh man..." But honestly? It just built the suspense. Then OUR food arrived...and our eyes went WIDE. These dumplings are HUGE. Like, "one bite? absolutely not" huge. The BBQ pork buns were soft, fluffy, slightly sweet clouds of happiness. Har gow and shrimp rice rolls were perfectly steamed (no soggy sadness here ). Now, because it was busy, the shrimp had a bit of a split personality...some bites were perfectly snappy and delicious, others were just a little overcooked. Not tragic, just not living their absolute best life. But overall? Everything was GOOD. And then the check came...about $60 for ALL that food. I almost checked it twice like, "Ma'am...are you sure you charged me correctly?" Because that is a STEAL. What really got me though was the family. You could see the hustle, the stress, the love...all happening in real time. Even in the chaos, they were kind, smiling, and apologizing for the wait. That kind of heart hits different. Final verdict: great food, great value, and a whole lot of love. I'll definitely be back to try more of their main dishes. Until next dumpling craving...

This time they did have the bean curd rolls which had noodles, veggies and a little meat. I do wish there were more veggies and meats served on the hong Kong house special noodles. The menu also has wonton soup, noodles, soup dumplings, fried spring rolls, crab rangoons, cucumber salad (Asian style), Chinese egg custards, bbq pork buns, sesame red bean paste fried balls,, stir fry veggies, taro steamed buns, and some other items. I've tried the dumplings boiled, steamed, and pan fried. The boiled ones are slippery and best when I'm in the mood to have them swirled in a sauce like hot chili oil. Streamed ones have a slight chew to the dumpling exterior than the boiled or fried dumplings. But doesn't take away from the taste. Pan fried is good when you want a crispier exterior and slight crunch. Whatever way you order 'em... it's all good! The egg custards, sesame balls, and crab rangoons are classic and my other go tos. I enjoy the diversity of the menu. Gotta confess, in Folsom there is not a lot of these good authentic dumpling places. Plus throw in some dim sum items...score! Is it Michelin star, no. It truly is a small family business that welcomes your family.
