If you could give a half star I would love given a 3.5. I've been here a couple of time and always try a different appetizer. So far I think I like the salt and pepper wings the best so there's that. Their pho is more on the plain side. Nothing stands out about the pho here. I do like how they are generous with the toppings and meat. It's a good looking establishment and it's clean. The blossom theme is at work. A large, varied Asian menu with both Vietnamese and Chinese offerings. My Cashew Chicken was loaded with cashews, and the vegetables were fresh, tender, and delicious. I just had the most incredible food that I ordered on GrubHub, I had this restaurant bookmarked as one that I really wanted to try, which I didn't even realize until I headed to my Yelp to do this review!! I had the best salt and pepper prawns I've ever had, I got it without the onions, but it had lightly fried jalapeños and red bell pepper, the prawns were huge, succulent, and tender. The very lightest breading, which I even hesitate to call it that, it was more like a dusting of flower or cornstarch with salt and pepper. It was fantastic. I also had the chicken with broccoli (and carrots), the chicken was super tender, the broccoli had a nice snap to it and the carrots were cooked perfectly. The sauce was on the salty side, which I like, as broccoli beef is usually too sweet for me, but for some reason I just really wanted broccoli tonight. I also ordered the bao buns with barbecue pork, and they were by far the best ones I've ever had. Tons of meat, pickled veggies, cilantro, all super fresh, on the most tender steamed bao buns. If you have never eaten here, you must go. It's a little dangerous it's probably only about five minutes from my house. And to think, for the last year I've been looking for an Asian fusion fix, driving into Roseville for over priced, over hyped dishes, and I discover this place, which was right in my front yard! No Bahn Mi ;( Now that we have that out of the way.. came here to grab a quick lunch. I got greeted by the host who was friendly. I decided to order to go, so I grabbed a menu and sat down in the front where they have a nice comfy bench. He offered me some water while I waited. I ordered 2 vermicelli bowls with pork and chicken. I did request for no noodles and all vegetables. ($18/bowl) I also ordered the kids chicken pho ($12) The 2 bowls were good. The chicken was cooked well, and was nice and tender. And the pork was flavorful as well. A bit on the pricey side considering if didn't come with the usual egg rolls and fish cakes that that dish typically comes with. The biggest disappointment was the kids pho! I prepared the dish for my daughter in a bigger bowl and she usually likes it. In this case, she hardly ate it. She said it was too salty. I thought she was over acting so I tried it. S A L T Y! We ordered off doordash. It had great reviews but the pics weren't that appealing. We still gave it a try. We ordered the walnut shrimp and chicken vegetable chow mein. The walnut shrimp seemed under cooked inside. It was kinda of gooey. The chow mein was soooo lightly seasoned that it tasted like it was plain noodles. And the veggies had a dirty sewage smell. Panda Express has better flavor than here and I prefer not to eat there. Also, we spent $60 for the walnut shrimp, chow mein, rice (which I think was included) and delivery. 2 items and a side of rice for something less than mediocre. Insane. Had lunch here yesterday. When I walked in around 11:30am, there was nobody else in the restaurant and I was concerned. As time passed, the restaurant filled up and the Vietnamese food that we ordered was so delicious (surprising for Granite Bay...ha ha). The portion sizes were good sized (we ordered too much), service was good. The restaurant did get a bit loud as it filled up. Overall a place that I'd go back to again. Nicely done! read more

I decided to visit this establishment for a take out order during my lunch break. I ordered the Mongolian beef lunch special with steamed rice and a pot sticker. I really liked how tender the beef was. Although, the sauce tasted more sweet rather than spicy. Which is not how Mongolian beef is typically prepared and not my preference. read more

This place- we read reviews on Yelp and decided it was time to try it: BIG MISTAKE. -the water had the strangest favor; I couldn't drink it -the ice machine had been broken for three days, and there was still no ice available -the heads on the soda machine need to be cleaned; I could taste the mold and mildew in the soda -my main dish was brought before the appetizer, and it was very cold (filet mignon Mongolian beef) -the general chicken had a very bizarre flavor, and I couldn't eat the rest, it was new at first, but I quickly drew to despise it -there was a strange smell in the restaurant, and it matched the odd flavor profile in the food The good was terrible, the place is obviously not taken care of by the owner. Do NOT eat here. It was the only time I had to toss the leftovers; even my garbage disposal of a husband couldn't conquer this place. Gross!! read more

Great Ambiance! Look at the pictures that are posted and you will see that it is a very tranquil environment. It was a nice place for a large party as we were able to seat 11 of us at one round table and the large lazy Susan in the middle made passing items easy. We called ahead to see if they could accommodate the 2 vegans in our party. They have a section of tofu items, but you need to specify vegan/veg as they use broth. For a large party, the food came out fairly quickly but not all at once. The food was hot, and the veggies were cooked well. The service was a bit disjointed, as they brought out plates for us to all share family style, but that was not our plan. We order Mongolian beef which was very chewy and tough to eat and chicken chow mein which was very dry and tough to eat. However, that was not the case last night: service was extremely slow (one server doing everything and, judging from the shouting match we heard, one person in the kitchen), the food was mediocre (pot stickers were deep fried, it was hard to find shrimp in our shrimp dish, chow mein was flavorless), and they increased the corkage to $20 (the server opened the bottle then handed it back for us to pour). We really favor going to Asian Blossom. This Asian Fusion restaurant serves some really delicious pho/pha soups, noodle dishes and appetizers. We like shrimp dishes and the shrimp served here are huge. The owner is pleasant and often there during service. The wait staff is friendly and very menu knowledgeable. Service was friendly but very slow. Something has changed. We have eaten there for many years but last two times we were disappointed. Last night my fillet over vermicelli was almost raw and cold, my wife's dish came 10 minutes after three of the four of us were served and the onion chunks were raw. She had to ask 5-6 minutes after being served for her rice which was stuck together in a sticky glob and cold Of the four of us we were all very disappointed We didn't say anything to the servers as it was fairly busy. This is by far our favorite restaurant for Chinese food. The Mongolian Beef is made out of a filet mignon cut. The hot and sour soup is very tasty and is topped off with cilantro. I thought that this was odd at first but now I love it. The Chicken fried rice is simply delicious. read more

This is our third time to restaurant. It was perfect on the first two visits (else this would be a on star). Last night, the service was horrific. Dirty plates and empty beer bottles were left as the entrees were served. We had to ask to have them picked up. One waiter was OK and the other just had no clue. The Pho, pork, was so undercooked that it was still red and actually turned the broth red. The entrees for 8 people came out over a period of 10 minutes (instead of all at once). So you could eat together or just let your food get cold while you were waiting. Anyway, we might try it again but this did leave a bad holiday memory. Alex read more

I ordered dinner via DoorDash from Asian Blossom. It had been a while since I had tried their food. My meal consisted of Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Orange Chicken with Brown Rice. The wraps included mushrooms, onion, bell pepper, chestnuts ... topped with pine nuts. They were served with iceberg lettuce and a house sauce on the side. They were good but a little more chicken in the mix would have made them better. I was very disappointed with the Orange Chicken. While described as "lightly battered", I found them just the reverse ....... more batter than chicken. The orange sauce lacked flavor ........ I only ate about 1/3 of my order. I had high hopes because they offer filet mignon beef dishes. Admittedly these were a highlight for me, but everything else fell flat and didn't make up for it. Food: As stated, the filet mignon beef dishes were good. I tried the Mongolian beef and the Lemongrass Beef. Both tasted good, but they were eerily similar in flavor and without knowing would be hard to tell apart. The meat was very juicy/tender though so I did enjoy these. Unfortunately, the portions on all the meats were small for the price, and there were WAY more veggies/onions than beef. The chicken was a big fail for me. We tried the garlic chicken and lemon chicken. Similarly to the beef, they were hard to differentiate. The flavor was bland so they seemed to be almost the same thing. The texture of the chicken was bad. Very soggy/mushy and inside there were some tendonous bits and even a bone in one that required us to spit out things. To finish it off we got fried rice which was ok. Each meat is SUPPOSED to come with white rice, but we were only given a very tiny plate with maybe 1 cup on it (for 6 people...). When we asked for more, they said no because we had ordered fried rice.... Service: Service wasn't great. We were literally the only people there when we arrived, but they tried to cram us at a tiny table on the side. We asked to move and sit at a larger table, since we had 6 people and intended to order family-style dishes, but they said no. After ordering, another table arrived. Now we were 1 of 2 tables, but somehow we were given the other table's order. It took us a few minutes to get the server back to figure it out (he had gone into the back the minute he dropped off the food). Once we let him know, he took the dishes from us and brought them over to the other table. Since the food was left unattended on our table for at least a few minutes, they should NOT have gone and served it to someone else. The food came out in piecemeal, meaning one dish at a time at least a few minutes apart, which is one of my big pet peeves. Especially since we didn't get our fried rice or the white rice until last. We did get a refill on our waters once, but otherwise didn't see the waitstaff again until we had to ask for the check. Otherwise, price was high overall even for the area. Decided to try a place we drove by all the time! Asian Blossom is beautifully decorated and the ambiance is really comfortable and nice. The service was great and the restaurant is clean. We ordered tofu chow mein, salt and pepper chicken and hot and sour soup. Everything was delicious and we left full and comfortable. The serving size is generous and the food was cooked to order which is always a great thing! Definitely pleased with this restaurant and we will definitely be back to try new items!! read more

When he did bring the food, he kinda threw the plates on the table. And to add insult to injury, the food was pretty mediocre. The benches were in very bad shape. This is the most expensive Chinese/Asian food I've ever had. It has been very hard finding "our place" since moving from the Bay Area. I think we have tried 8 restaurants here so far, many of them recommendations from trusted palates! But most of them failed... Asian Blossom does great Pho, chicken noodle soup, wontons are fresh and delish, and the best thing about their soups...the broth. The chicken broth is flavorful and soothing. The restaurant is pretty inside. Service is nice. Take out is prompt. The fresh slices of Jalapeños are always crisp and spicy, weird detail, I know, but it saves me from cutting my own, and, when I'm taking a night off from cooking that is a big bonus! read more
