For what it was worth, the food was really good. This is definitely an older establishment, but it still seemed as though they got quite a good amount of foot traffic going in and out either picking up their food orders or dining in to eat. The Porsche seemed pretty good as well. Stopping in here was kind of a last-minute decision for us as we met up with a family member after the local Marathon that was taking place around the Rockland area. The. Ambiance was pretty mellow . I wanted to gate keep this place... but I don't want them to go out of business because it is SO BOMB! I ordered the spring rolls and #16 I think with egg noodle and chicken and seafood with veggie soup! The broth was so clear and delicious, the toppings were abundant and cooked to perfection! The grilled pork spring rolls were really yummy, good char on the pork, and the peanut dipping sauce is homemade! I wish there were some more hot sauces, but I will be coming back. We have been going to KT Noodles forever and I've never stopped to leave a review. It is one of our top favorites! Whenever our daughter comes to town for a visit, their food is a must in her list. These days we usually choose to get take-out and the quality of food doesn't suffer in the least. The char-broiled pork dinners are usually our choice and we would never come with getting an order of their spring rolls. We've often brought those rolls to potlucks and they're a big hit. Had lunch here a couple days ago. The service is slipping. The server took my order (after having to repeat it several times due to a language barrier). He brought out the food leaving it on the table and scurried away, not to be seen again until 15 minutes later. I love to come here on my lunch break. The interior decor is reminiscent of 1950's cafe booths, with sparkly red cushions. Service is typically fast and since I'm a regular they are always happy to see me come in. My favorite dish here is the Vegetable Clay Pot which has a a variety of vegetables such as broccoli, carrot, mushroom, onion and tofu in a light coconut milk based mild curry. I can't rave enough about KT Noodles! Everyone in my family loves the food at KT. Although everything is delicious, we do have our favorites. We all love the egg rolls and lemon chicken. My family has been coming here for years! The pork spring rolls have been a staple at events and gatherings for us. We love the fast service, large menu, and very affordable prices! The lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork, pho, and veggie tofu stir fry is awesome! Thai tea is also fantastic. Has a diner type feel inside with very vintage-y sparkly booths. Oh my gosh! I can't believe I have driven by this place so many times and I never tried it. Until tonight, that is. I'm glad we finally visited KT Noodles. Their BBQ Pork Spring Rolls are freaking off the hook! My teen daughter was raving about 'em, and she doesn't usually go on and on about food. Then she started in about the chicken with broccoli she ordered; I guess that was great, too! The fried egg rolls are delicious! According to my wife the pho is very good, and I can tell you the rice noodle soup with pork, won ton, and veggies is amazing. The service was good. We were greeted and seated immediately, water was served a minute or two later, and the food came out pretty quick. The place looks like it was probably a little American cafe back in the 1970's with Asian decor on the walls and counters, which do make it feel more Asian; albeit not overly authentic. Still the best home comfort Vietnamese Chinese cuisine in all of Rocklin, Roseville area! Tofu Clay pot is just perfect. I've been trying to figure out their base for years for this dish. I love the sauce used to create this dish. It's the perfect amount of sweet savory flavor. The celery adds a great crunch. Yum! Looks like they renovated the restaurant a few years ago during covid. It looks great with the new ceiling fans. The seats are still retro and the prices are still below average for any menu!! Right when I walked in, the servers were super sweet and allowed me to sit wherever I wanted. Brought iced water and menu right away, ordered shortly after, food came out in less than 10minutes. I'm a frequent diner here for a quick bite between my work. The food is good enough since I can only compare it to San Francisco's/Oakland's hole in the wall mom and pop shops. I usually go for the #9 pho - 4 stars for the service as all the people who work there are super nice. Food seems like it's missing a real depth of pho broth. First time here - I dropped by because I wanted a pastrami sandwich. I know that sounds odd, because they don't have pastrami sandwiches... but the place next door does... and they were closed. KT Noodles was not closed and if by magic, I decided I wanted some Vietnamese food. Actually in hind sight, I'm glad it worked out this way. They have an extensive menu. It was a little tough to decide what to order, to be honest. I saw most of the popular Asian dishes represented. They even had a few American dishes. I chose the Appetizer Sampler and the Wor Wonton Soup - in the process, I found out "Wor" means "everything". The appetizer plate was great - the calamari was nice and tender, everything fresh and tasty. The appetizer and soup arrived at pretty much the same time, which divided my attention. The soup presentation impressed me! "Everything" was not an overstatement! It was overflowing with all sorts of tasty morsels - stuffed wontons, shrimp, pork, broccoli, bok choy and several other things floating in a tasty broth. Very good! I was not able to eat it all... but I did get the vast majority of items in the broth. I didn't finish my appetizer either and ended up taking the spring rolls home. Ok so... been eating here since they took over Bo Bo's some 25 years ago. (Btw, original Bo Bo has a restaurant in Folsom!) Always a fan. Moved out of town so haven't eaten here for about a year. And what a year it has been!!! Went today and got our usual. All was good for the most part. Large servings and great taste (ala KT Noodle style) but a couple of complaints: no lettuce with noodle bowl, only a ton of bean sprouts which I'm not a fan. And the egg rolls are a fraction of the size they used to be in so that the filling to wrapper ratio is off!! Not to mention the fact that like every restaurant, the prices have gone up! I could accept the egg rolls a bit more so had the not also raised the price. Still good but adjustments can be made for improvement. Btw this was for take- out. read more

I feel bad writing this review because I've been coming here for 20+ years and I normally have a 4 star experience. I will say that every time I have dined in, I've had a better experience but when I place take out orders, it's typically not as good. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, no veggies. Typically, they provide big portions, but this was the exception. It was super disappointing to open this up and have very little meat. The rice was actually a much smaller portion that normal. For $12 I would have expected more meat. I went and had a second meal out after this! The food was still delicious, they put the sauce on the side, which kept the chicken nice and crispy. I'll just have to not dine out from here anymore, which is disappointing because it's the easiest for me. read more

After hanging out at SnowPark wanted a bowl of hot pho to warm our souls. Our first choice Pho King Good in Auburn didn't pick up so this was the next closest. The interior reminds me of an bar from Grease/Cheers bc of the bar are that is more of their checkout counter. There were 3 families (6 adults and 6 kids) We were there for a bit but we didn't even get a menu. My friend actually went up to the bar counter area to grab the menus. I would understand if it was busy but the restaurant was busy but it wasn't so that was kind of a bummer. I wished I knew what everyone ordered but I was super busy with the kids. On with my order. I had the Pork Chop work shredded pork over rice. The presentation was decent and the size and thickness of the pork chop was good and they give you a good amount of the shredded pork and veggies. The downside was the flavor of the pork chop was not what I expected. It was more of a char sui pork chop than a barbecue pork chop flavor that I am use to. The rice was super hard that I had to take some soup from my husband's noodles to soften it. This rice is more like the ones you use to make friend rice. We also ordered the appetizer sampler. The eggrolls were okay. The ones who's tried the calamari said it was good. The only item not that great was the spring roll. I had one of those and the wrapping paper was too hard and chewy. I ended up just eating the filling and tossed out the wrapping. My friend across the way ordered the Bun Thit Nuong and she was not a fan of it. She said the flavoring was off. She ended up eating her daughter's order. It was a rice plate with stir fry veggies and shrimp. Thank goodneess I like close to South Sac where all the better pho places are. We order from KT noodles for their Pho and their vermicelli noodles combo dish with pork and shrimp. The portions are big and can be easily shared. The price is average and not as expensive as other pho places in the area so you definitely get your bang for your buck. It's located off of Sunset Boulevard in a little bit of an older area next to Chevron. The restaurant is older so some of the furniture is dated. But you're going for the food right. So enjoy the authentic food. The service is quick and made to order. read more
