    #9 Rice Noodles soup
    Dave R.

I have reviewed this business before; however as I sit here this very chilly and foggy morning, I again realize what a little joy KT is. Inexpensive, reliable, and qwerky. I post a photo of #9 'Rice noodles soup'. Hot clear broth loaded with veggies, shrimp, and noodles! Oh my! On a morning like this? What could be better? My cold soul is not any more. Mmmmm! Thanks KT Noodle! I love you!

I wanted to gate keep this place... but I don't want them to go out of business because it is SO BOMB! I ordered the spring rolls and #16 I think with egg noodle and chicken and seafood with veggie soup! The broth was so clear and delicious, the toppings were abundant and cooked to perfection! The grilled pork spring rolls were really yummy, good char on the pork, and the peanut dipping sauce is homemade! I wish there were some more hot sauces, but I will be coming back. It is affordable and so delicious! The service was also really nice because they gave me some extra broth... now that is love!

I thought it was okay. I liked the Charbroiled Lemongrass Chicken & Egg Rolls dish. However, the Sautéed Beef with Ginger was just okay. My husband didn't like the beef quality, but I thought it was average for many places. The takeout was ready fast. The price was cheap. I'd likely order the chicken again but I didn't enjoy the egg rolls. They were unusual to me.

    96. Tofu with Vegetables in Clay Pot 10/10! I'm not vegetarian either

I love to come here on my lunch break. The interior decor is reminiscent of 1950's cafe booths, with sparkly red cushions. Service is typically fast and since I'm a regular they are always happy to see me come in. My favorite dish here is the Vegetable Clay Pot which has a a variety of vegetables such as broccoli, carrot, mushroom, onion and tofu in a light coconut milk based mild curry. It is served with rice. I'm not vegetarian but this dish really hits the spot for me. The vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and shrimp is also good!

Used to be our favorite but now we tend to go to Pho Cali. Still super good though! Got the wor won ton with egg noodles and sauteed beef with vegetables. Friendly staff, convenient locations, decent pricing. Yummy!

    Pho with the family tonight...

Oh my gosh! I can't believe I have driven by this place so many times and I never tried it. Until tonight, that is. I'm glad we finally visited KT Noodles. Their BBQ Pork Spring Rolls are freaking off the hook! My teen daughter was raving about 'em, and she doesn't usually go on and on about food. Then she started in about the chicken with broccoli she ordered; I guess that was great, too! The fried egg rolls are delicious! According to my wife the pho is very good, and I can tell you the rice noodle soup with pork, won ton, and veggies is amazing. The service was good. We were greeted and seated immediately, water was served a minute or two later, and the food came out pretty quick. The place looks like it was probably a little American cafe back in the 1970's with Asian decor on the walls and counters, which do make it feel more Asian; albeit not overly authentic. All in all it was a great visit with great food and service. We will undoubtedly return!

    54. Charbroiled Pork, Shrimp and Egg Rolls

Doordashed Kt noddles. Ordered their charbroiled pork with egg roll and shrimp over noodles, and it's. Appetizer sampler. The appetizer sampler came with 2 pieces of shrimp rolls, 2 egg rolls, 2 charbroiled pork rolls, calamari. It was ok, the spring rolls were made with some lettuce and vermicelli. The egg rolls were a little too much dough. Like their dipping sauce. The charbroiled pork over noodles was good but some of the meat were dry. At least the veggies were fresh. Did not like the egg rolls.. not much of flavor or being fresh made

Always delicious, great portions. Their food is the closest I've had to what used to be Bobo's in Roseville.

I ordered the vermicelli bowl, and it was packed with fresh ingredients and incredible flavor. I added a generous amount of chili oil to the fish sauce, and it took everything to the next level. The extra heat and richness brought out even more flavor and made the fresh vegetables taste even better. The atmosphere is quiet, clean, and relaxing, with TVs throughout the restaurant if you want to catch a game while you eat. The service crew is friendly, attentive, and impressively fast. They were always nearby whenever I needed anything without being intrusive. I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's one of those spots that's easy to overlook, but once you eat here, you'll definitely want to come back!

I always appreciate a clean broth that isn't too much that it overpowers the dish. So 10/10 for me on that. I absolutely loved my wonton soup, there was a ton of rice noodle that I wasn't able to finish unfortunately. The pork egg rolls had the BEST crunch it was so satisfying to eat. We wish we would have ordered more. Honestly the service sizes of these bowls I wish there was a smaller option because we both could not finish our meals. My boyfriend enjoyed his meatballs, he's fairly picky on that but he definitely made sure to scarf those down. The reason I'm docking a star is because the service was a tad slow and had forgotten our drinks until we were done and getting the check. We were fortunately given water before had and if it wasn't for our server giving us recommendations for dishes I don't feel our experience would have been the same. He did try his best given a rush came in moments after we seated.

So there I was... sitting on an oil rig in Alaska, talking to a sheriff's deputy with over 20 years…read moreon the job. He says, "My buddies keep telling me about this place called Pho King Good." Funny part? Even he had never been there. Well, that little story stuck with me. Fast forward a few weeks. My road trip partner, Koda, and I are heading home from Disneyland, cutting through Sacramento toward Grass Valley. We roll into Auburn and BOOM there it is. Pho King Good. Now let's just take a second to appreciate that name. If you're gonna swing for the fences with a name like Pho King Good, you've set the bar about as high as Mount Everest. You don't get to be "pretty decent." You'd better make me question every bowl of pho I've ever eaten. The sign? Absolutely iconic. It practically jumps out and hollers at you from the side of the road. Easy in, easy out. Road-tripper approved. Walking inside, though, I was expecting a little more "Pho King Palace" and a little less "we've been meaning to remodel since the Clinton administration." The marble counter looked nice enough, but the place just felt like it needed a little love. If I owned a restaurant with a name that good, I'd lean into it. Give me lanterns. Give me atmosphere. Make me feel like the King just walked in. Charge me another couple bucks if you have to I wouldn't mind if the experience matched the name. Then came the menu. It felt a little like Dysfunction Junction. They had everything listed, but it wasn't organized in a way that made ordering easy. Give me sections. House Pho. Beef Pho. Chicken Pho. Special Pho. Help a hungry traveler out. The food? Solid... right down the middle of the road. After hours in the car, a hot bowl of pho hits the spot no matter what. Koda really enjoyed his chicken dish, and our vegetable egg rolls with the peanut sauce were decent, although the wrapper was just a touch on the rubbery side. The owner was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable, which always counts for something. My only real disappointment was this: with a name like Pho King Good, I expected to leave saying, "That's the best pho I've ever had." Instead, I left saying, "That was... good." And then came the plot twist. Time to pay. Cash only. So now I'm walking out to the ATM like I'm making a withdrawal for a back-alley poker game or a dispensary run. I'm standing there thinking, "Well... this tip just took a hit because I wasn't planning on paying an ATM fee for my noodles." I still don't quite understand it. You're giving change, printing receipts, running a business... we're already 95% of the way to taking cards! Overall, this wasn't about whether the food was amazing or terrible. It was about the experience. Sometimes that's the story worth telling. Would I stop again on another road trip? Probably. Because sometimes a bowl of pho, your best buddy Koda riding shotgun, and a restaurant with the greatest pun in California are all you really need. And if they ever decide to polish the place up and make it live up to that legendary name... It might just become Pho King Great.

VEGAN SIGHTING!!! I…read moredon't even know where to start my fellow vegans. This quirky, Vietnamese restaurant in the city of Auburn, CA, has by far the best vegan Banh Mi sandwich. The tofu was prepared so it did not take up the whole sandwich. The pickled radish and carrots had the perfect and balanced of sour and sweet. Of course, can't leave out the herbs of cilantro and fresh jalapinjoes. The french bread was crispy outside but still soft and hearty as you take a bite. My earth was it a 2 thumbs up!!! Then their vegan pho with veggies and tofu did not disappoint. Their veggie broth was perfectly blended and made wonderfully that I was not even thinking this was vegan. The staff was kind and informative. They were attentive and friendly. Then comes the merch. If you like a play on the word Pho, then come and check out their shirts for sale. All I have to say is "Life is Pho king good." With this said, another gem in Auburn, CA.
