    Classic Cobb Salad

Really disappointed with my experience at Chopt today. I paid almost $14 for a salad, and nearly half of the lettuce was brown and wilted. For the price, I expect the ingredients to be fresh. I usually enjoy Chopt, but this definitely missed the mark.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I wish there were more in raleigh They make the best salads and they're so fresh They are quick and kind and they have a nice outdoor seating patio! I would eat here every day if I could

The salad had a great mix of greens, crunchy toppings, and a flavorful dressing. I appreciated how fresh everything tasted. The restaurant had a casual and welcoming atmosphere, which made the experience even better. A great spot for a light meal.

This place is pretty satisfying. The food just tastes really fresh so you can never go wrong with a nice satisfied feeling in your mouth after eating something (semi) healthy. I got a build your own salad with Mac and cheese. I got avacado, tortilla, egg, the chopt blend of greens, cheese, beans, chicken, and corn. With the build your own, you get to choose 4 toppings. With so many in front of you it's pretty hard to settle for 4 so I wish it was 6. Also they barely gave me any chicken. I didn't really reach my toppings till the end of the bowl too. Either way my food was $18 which is pretty pricey. The Mac and cheese was not good to me at all however the concept of eating a warm bowl of Mac while eating a cold salad is a good one. I got two dressings on the side- Japanese Caesar and Tex mex ranch. The Japanese Caesar was creamy and didn't have too much of that Caesar taste so it was really good, almost like ranch! The Tex mex ranch was just way too bitter and changed the whole salad.

Love this place. Hands down the best salad you'll ever have (and very filling - in it one to split lunch and dinner).

Good reason to come back. Started with prickly pear margarita with mescal. Yum! Had a white wine after. It was ok. My friend and I shared 4 bruschetta's- smoked salmon and pesto, artichoke, caprese, and apple, Brie and fig. Favs were smoked salmon and apple and Brie. The fries were amazing. Salmon board was good too. The bread on the board was much better than the bruschetta. Ambiance is great. Service as well. Will be back!

Their roast beef panini is on par with Portillo's a long standing Chicago beef restaurant (IYKYK). I've NEVER had a beef sandwich that was better than Portillo's but Postino you managed to take a hometown classic and elevate it to a point beyond my expectations - if you get this sandwich I recommend getting it on the ciabatta bread versus focaccia. Let's not overlook the tomato soup - it's so rich and flavorful. For a lighter lunch my go to is the tuna panini with broccoli salad. They are known for their boards, I've not had the bruschetta yet but it looks delicious. My favorite board is the hummus. One thing I hate is when a restaurant gives you a big bowl of hummus and not enough pita. That is not the case here, you'll get pita, toasted bread, and a variety of vegetables to scoop up the velvety humus covered in cherry tomatoes, red onion and feta. For date night enjoy a Violet Femme a gin cocktail that tastes as lovely as it looks. The service here is top notch! Everyone is fantastic. I'll have to come back to this review to note the serves names we've had because they have all been exceptional. Now let's talk about the vibe! Postino's nailed the indoor/outdoor feel. Plenty of windows that are open on nice days, plants galore and the decor gives you a cool like rockstar but classy feel. 5 stars doesn't feel like enough.

I had the root veggie bowl and added lentils for protein. I asked for dressing on the side because I want to dress my own food. Before I dressed it I took a bite, wow! It could be eaten with no dressing! It was absolutely delicious. I asked if they have a vegan sauce and they did not know. CAVA has several vegan dressings available that are marked on the bottle. Might be something to consider. But, wow. I can't wait to come back! My drink was the Mango Apple Kale. It was very good and not too sweet. It's 7:10 on a Wednesday night. The place is not real busy but should be. The first experience was worth reviewing, they did great. I eat at chipotle a lot and their tables are always dirty and garbages overflowing but this place, no. The Farmside Kitchen tables are all clean in the lobby. garbages clean, floor...clean. They are going to do great. I look for forward to returning or finding one in my area.

I ordered the Superfree Burger, their vegan burger patty made of sweet potatoes, roasted mushrooms, walnuts and seeds; topped with avocado, tomato, mixed greens, onions, and a garlic-tahini dressing. Usually, I'm always excited to try a restaurant's vegan burger, but sad to say, their vegan burger was a bit underwhelming. I felt the patty was on the dry and crumbly side. I also ordered a Kid's Hot Dog meal for my child. The hot dog looked delish, but sadly, the hand-cut fries were soggy, greasy, and dark. I don't know what happened, but it wasn't appetizing. I should have asked the kitchen to make another batch for us. Mama Crow's had so much promise. I'd still come back to give it another try, but I'll order a burger next time.

Birdie's is located in the heart of Downtown Raleigh, right on Fayetteville Street. There is street parking, but also a parking deck right across the street. The decor is absolutely lovely, and it's spacious with a beautiful bar. There's also a cafe in the front if you just want to drop in for some treats to go or coffee. Although they have a nice cocktail menu, they also have a full bar if you'd like something that is not on their menu. On the brunch menu, they have an item called Mimosa Party, which has 4 different flavors: range, dragonfruit, pear, mango. I've had other cocktails, and they are all delicious and made to order! Now for the food. The food that I've had has been flavorful and very good. Also, they have a lot of options that aren't very heavy if you're looking for some lighter options. When I went for brunch, I had the Hippie Hash Bowl, and it was delicious. I didn't want anything too heavy, but still breakfast-related, and it was perfect for that. For dinner the last time I went, I had the Creamy Chicken Penne Pasta with Cajun seasoning and blackened chicken. I was trying to decide which dish to order, and my server suggested adding Cajun seasoning and blackened chicken to the dish, and boy was it delicious. I did not intend to eat the entire meal, but it was too good to stop. I've also always had great service with friendly staff who are eager to help. I'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing again. We ordered the tomato soup with grilled cheese and the Cobb salad with steak. Both dishes were good, but the biggest issue was the wait. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, it took over an hour for our food to come out and there wasn't much communication from our server about the delay. I'd definitely be more understanding if we had come in with a large group or ordered some of the more involved entrees, but when it's just two people ordering relatively simple dishes on a day that the restaurant is not very busy, waiting over an hour is tough. Our server did apologize and mentioned that this isn't typically the case. However, after reading through some other reviews, it does seem like the long wait times may be a recurring issue. I will say that our server kindly comped our drinks, which I appreciated. One suggestion I'd have for the restaurant would be to consider offering a complimentary bread service as it would go a long way in making the wait feel a little more manageable. Overall, I really want to like Birdie's because the space is beautiful and the food was good, but unfortunately, the service issues have made it difficult for me to fully enjoy the experience.
