They will end up putting it in and then you will find out months and thousands of dollars later that they didn't secure the wire harness causing your vehicle to take a crap and leave you stranded on the side of the highway. Started off with Chris's knowing the prices were fair and feeling like I could trust them. After over 6 months, I decided to get a second opinion and discovered that the first repair to my valve cover was leaking. I had it redone with the new mechanic and the same code that came up in the first place is still there. So it's looking like after months and $1000s of dollars the repair that needed doing was ignored. There was cosmetic damage done the last time I went and I was sent home with a car that wasn't running. Chris' Automotive is ABSOLUTELY the best around! I was referred to them a few years ago and have taken my car there several times since then. First and foremost, NO AUTOMOTIVE place looks at cars and DOES NOT CHARGE but Chris' does This has happened a few times where they looked at my car and did not charge. Another time they had to do a few things and they did not charge me for one part of the labor. I can't thank them enough for everything they do, especially being a female. Females are often taken advantage in this area, Chris and his employees do not take advantage of this. They are completely honest with everything and give great recommendations for other things needed like tires. Lastly, you know your car will be looked at and taken care of the day you bring it in as long as you drop it off in the morning or you can drop it off the night before. Chris JR. was very rude. We walked in and explained our problem we had with our car, that we called in earlier that morning. Had a bad attitude to my husband and I. Then Chris (the owner) said that he could help us out and take a look, Chris JR. then went to the back and we could hear him complaining about looking at the trunk of the car because it did not open. (He wasn't even working on it). I can't say all negative things about it here, just to walk into a place and be given a horrible attitude, and it was just Bc he wanted to leave earlier to go golfing. I can't recommended Chris highly enough! He's a straight shooter who does great work!!! My car overheated and I took it to the dealership. A couple hundred bucks later they "fixed" it. Then it happened again a few months later and, once again, they "fixed" it for a couple hundred bucks. The third time I was near Chris's shop, parked it there and asked for his help. The solution? The car I drive is well known to burn through coolant too quickly after a certain number of miles and all I needed to do was to make sure the coolant doesn't get too low between oil changes. The charge was less than $10 bucks and Chris explained why it was happening and how to fix it. You couldn't ask for a better repair shop than his because one doesn't exist. On Monday, July 11 I took my car in to Chris's to get an alignment done I asked if he could also change the oil since it was up on the hoist.I was told yes I can get an alignment and yes I can get an oil change I called later in the day to see if it was done I was told they couldn't do the alignment and my oil drain plug was stripped out so they didn't do an oil change either And I should come get my car. On Wednesday after pulling out of my garage I noticed a huge puddle of oil where my car was parked. So I called Chris's and informed him of the problem and told him the TRUTH. That my car had no previous drain plug issue. He however insisted the car was dripping oil as he pulled it in his shop and when he put it on the hoist it was dripping so bad they couldn't work on it. Excuse me but if you're an automotive repair shop shouldn't you have notified me of my leak and asked me what I wanted done with it? Obviously they didn't notify me of the leak because they caused it !!! I confronted them again Friday about repairing it showed Chris the picture of the oil puddle in my garage. he told me it was already there before I brought the car in and I was lying ... One thing is for sure there was a liar somewhere along the way and it was not me one other thing I went back and checked where I parked my car the night before they worked on it so it sat there 12 hours yet there was no puddle where it was parked in their parking lot ...BAD Business and I'm calling the better business bureau read more

My son dropped off his car for a repair. When he returned to pick up his car there was huge black scuffs running up and down the side of his white car!! All they said was we didn't do it. Well he left it in your possession on your property. Did not like how they dealt with the situation. We will NEVER go there again. And I'm letting everyone know what happened. Changing my previous review. Place is good for ordinary mechanical. While doing other repair, they found a broken motor mount. They fixed it, however they messed up something else and left a loud engine/exhaust noise/vibration. I took it back and all they did was put another motor mount in it. I took it to another place and they found a broken transmission mount and said they don't know how Chris's could miss that and it was probably done when Chris's fixed the engine mount. Anyway still didn't fix the problem and I'm selling the car. read more
