I've been eating here since it was just a shack on the corner with a couple of picnic benches out front to eat at. I loved this place from the start. Over the years, I watched as Chris grew the business and it expanded to a place where hundreds could sit and enjoy the consistent quality he offered. Sadly, Chris went to Jesus a few years ago and the family sold it to a group that promised to maintain Chris' vision. They have largely done that. The burgers are 5-star classics served in a welcoming party atmosphere. My three star review is not for the food or the good service, it's for the constant price increases that make the customer feel like they are the new guy in the cellblock every time they open their wallet. I don't think they've ever made a mistake with our order...They're very efficient and have lots of food runners and table clearers and we've never had to clean off a table or go look for our food. I finally tried a burger here and it was just OK. I do not see what all the hype is about. Though a freshly made burger, the patty was extremely thin. For over $10 bucks I expected a little bit more meat and honestly to be able to taste it a little bit more.
