My sister is currently battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer and went to the ER on August 3, 2026 after coughing up blood multiple times within 24 hours. During her visit, the physician became hostile after learning she had previously filed a complaint about his care. He referenced her complaint, and she reports he made a discriminatory statement toward her. She requested the physician's name so she could properly document her concerns and file a grievance, but staff refused to provide it. She also requested another physician and was told one would not be provided. She left feeling dismissed and distressed and ultimately sought care at another hospital. After reviewing her medical records, we saw they lied on why she left. They said she wanted other medication when they had not even evaluated her yet, not did she asks for any meds. This place is abhorrent!! They know what they are doing is violating patient rights and do not care. They think they are above law and compliance. I've never been to such an urgent care with such fast and attentive service. Doctor Chang ordered a CT scan to check the abdomen, ribs and liver area and was fine with the scan in under 5 minutes of admittance. So glad we came here. Now I will say the imaging results are making up for the speedy check-in. It's been over an hour since the CT scan and still awaiting results. So while the check-in process was speedy, getting the results back will test your patience considering how fast the admittance process was. In any case, it's still a great facility. Clean, quiet, friendly staff. I hope I don't need urgent care but if I'm in Houston and find myself in a jam, I would certainly choose to come here.

I was referred to Dr. Indira Reyes-Contin after going to the ER watch center. The watch center was…read morenot at this facility but another hospital. She was very friendly and kind but there was one MAJOR issue that resulted in me feeling WORSE than when I started. If you're someone that's struggling with mental health you MUST read this. Or actually, JUST IN GENERAL. She asked a few basic questions and then some more detailed ones. I told her that my outside psychiatrist told me there's a possibility I have bipolar disorder. Dr. Reyes dismissed that possibility and explained that my symptoms weren't of bipolar disorder just MDD (major depressive disorder) and that it was "normal" to have these mood swings in depression. She prescribed me antidepressants (you don't EVERY give A-D to a person with BP). Started off with 5mg and told me that I'd feel su!cidal the first 5 days but it was a side affect of the medication (first off who even prescribes that?) Well that was not how I felt and I started feeling high the 3rd day. After 5 days I'd then take 10mg on the 6th day. I went through my first manic episode and it was HORRID. That medication worked INSTANTLY and I had immediate aggressive mood swings FAR from this "normal" she said. I made an emergency virtual session that same day this happened with Dr. Reyes and you'd think she would be worried but guess what, she was ignorant and told me to KEEP TAKING IT. "Your body has to get used to it for it to work," she said. What kind of doctor says?? I told her I had all of these symptoms and she STILL dismissed it as a part of the medication. Me and my dad were persistent that this wasn't my normal behavior and that I had gone from feeling grandiose to the next SECOND having an aggressive break down. The session was said to be 30min but it didn't even last 10min. Scammer. My manic episode lasted for TWO WEEKS and she wanted me to take it??? I would've died or kms if I did. I even started having psychological withdrawal symptoms but thankfully my mom flushed these meds down. I went from having to be in IOP to PHP thanks to her. Dr. Reyes should have serious consciences for her actions. I wouldn't recommend this "doctor" whatsoever or else she'll dismiss and belittle your situation. Just because you don't have all the symptoms of something doesn't mean it's NOT a possibility. In summary she's absolutely careless "practitioner" when it comes to the well being of patients.

All the staff is super kind and as helpful as could be. I purposely chose here for the Dr. The orthopedic surgeon was quick and straightforward about options and recovery. Dr even got us in on their non surgery day as there were complications that needed urgency with scheduling. The only down fall is it was very loud, they were undergoing construction. It's renovations, had to happen to stay up to date! Lastly the food was terrible unfortunately. I have had better hospital food. Other than that the care is what was important. Lastly valet is available complimentary. I still tipped but it was not expected.

Don't waste your time or your money. Manager was rude the whole time as well, speaking to me as if I'm a child in a sarcastic tone. Could go on and on about how terrible the visit was. Meanwhile, I am in ongoing pain and unable to move forward with necessary care. I've had to repeatedly follow up on an issue that should have been handled promptly and professionally. Communication has been poor, follow-through has been lacking, and there seems to be no urgency or accountability--despite the fact that delays like this directly affect patients' health and quality of life. I understand that SBCHC is a community health center, but that does not excuse substandard care. Patients still deserve timely coordination, basic administrative competence, and compassion--especially when they are dealing with pain. This experience has left me feeling ignored and unsupported. I would not recommend this provider to anyone who needs reliable, responsive care.

I have been to 3 different Innovista locations and I have also used their online appointments…read more Some of the doctors are very good, but if you have anything other than routine a routine condition like such as a UTI and need to be referred elsewhere, you will seriously regret that you ever went to Innovista. Their referrals also used to be faster and the answered online messages faster. Now if you have something like a torn muscle, a serious lung condition, a cancerous looking skin condition, back injury, etc.. the Innovista Doctor will immediately recommend a referral but the Innovistal "referral department" has a new policy where if your condition is not immediately life threatening they will sit on all doctor recommended referrals for 14 business days before sending it to your insurance company for approval. Even if you go to the emergency room, if you have an HMO, you have to go back to the Innovista Primary Care doctor to get the emergency room doctor's referral to be approved, and this can sometimes take a month or more - a week or so to get an appointment with your primary care doctor after your emergency room visit and 14 business days to get the referral processed. So if you have back pain, a torn muscle, problems breathing, etc.. but the condition is not actually a life or death issue, you the wait time to see the right physician, get an MRI, etc.. is absolutely unacceptable. Also, when I first started going there 2 years ago, they had X-Rays internally that were free but they got rid of this 4 months ago. All Xrays have to be referred out. Luckily that's a faster process that the doctor referral but it's not a good as it used to be.

I used the app to claim my spot in line and it notified me when to come inside. We had just enough time to grab breakfast and sit in the car to eat. Once inside, check-in was fairly easy and the nurses and staff were friendly and pleasant. After a simple X-ray and a visit with the Dr. it was confirmed that my son fractured his tibia. The nurse who wrapped his leg with a temporary splint was so courteous and careful with my son. We left with a CD of the X rays and an official report from the Dr. about the diagnosis. A few days later, a nurse called to check up on my son to see how he was managing his injury. I have nothing but great things to say about our experience at Next Level and highly recommend it to anyone. Tip: try to wait in the car and use the app if you can...lots of sick people in and out of the waiting room so you're better off minimizing the time you wait inside. I waited less than 5 minutes in the lobby before they put me in a room. It's been so long since I've been at a doctors office that's promptly with your scheduled appointment time. If you are looking for a PCP see is definitely the one to choose.
