The office is bright and inviting, and so is the staff. My son loves the fact that he gets to relax and watch his favorite shows while getting work done on his teeth. I love that Dr. Marcus and Dr. Andrew are super communicative about what options are available for my son, depending on what treatment he needs from that visit. Before doing anything, she gave him a mirror and showed him exactly what she would be doing on an alligator model, then mirrored those same steps during his exam. You can truly tell that she loves what she does and genuinely cares about every child she treats. They also took the time to teach him how to brush his teeth, making the appointment both fun and educational. I already knew this might come up because a previous dental office had mentioned it. However, that dental office wanted 2 1/2 times the amount out of pocket than Oceanic Dental. They provided a print out of the work to be done, how much would be billed to my insurance and how much was my responsibility. Best of all, they left it to me to make the decision on when and didn't try to persuade me. It was a completely pressure free experience. You can tell the staff values their patients and wants every visit to be a positive experience. Their attention to detail and genuine concern for patient care made a lasting impression. The only con here is that the parking can be difficult during very busy times.
