I was THRILLED with the cake Christine made for my wedding in Paso Robles, especially because it was entirely GLUTEN-FREE AND DAIRY-FREE!!! Not only did it meet my strict dietary intolerances (which are annoying at times), but it was DELICIOUS! It did not taste like a gluten free, dairy free cake at all. It was so moist, full of flavor, and amazingly dense. I had 3 flavors (each amazing!): lemon with lemon buttercream (my fav!), marble with chocolate buttercream, and vanilla with vanilla buttercream and fresh strawberries. It was so good, insisted on having 3 slices at the wedding, and 2 more the next day! I was in heaven. Now, if I can only wait the year I'm supposed to to eat the top tier we've saved... Christine's services were very good. She sent us up samples to our venue, Cass Winery, during our tasting so we didn't even have to go out of our way. The cupcakes were very tasty. We choose red velvet cupcakes filled with cheesecake and chocolate cupcakes filled with peanut butter. Everyone said that they were delicious. Our small personal cake was red velvet. It was suppose to be filled with cheese cake between the layers but it tasted just like white frosting. It was pretty good tasting but not as moist as I had hoped. Christine did our wedding cake earlier this month. Absolutely delicious. Our guests were delighted. We had a three tier/three flavor cake for our 100 guests. It was as beautiful as it was tasty. Bottom was lemon, middle chocolate with banana filling and top was carrot. Each flavor was a hit. The cake itself is unbelievably light and flavorful. Did not leave you feeling stuffed at the end of dinner. Working with Christine was easy. She is very professional and skilled. Her personality is wonderfully lighthearted. She is helpful and patient and talented. My only regret is that our wedding in Paso Robles was a destination wedding and I can't order a cake from her for every occasion. I came across Christine's through trusty Yelp! I decided to contact her and SOO glad I did. I got a grooms cake for my fiancé, to be presented at the rehearsal dinner. The cake which was for 35, was only $55. Delivery to Croad was $25. So, a cake for 35 (and more) was only $80. I think it was an amazing deal. Breakdown was pretty much $2.25 per person, where most places were at least $4.50-$5. Everyone had cake, and we still have a dozen or so slices left-and they are good size slices. It's was a three layer cake, in about 2 inch squares. We got red velvet with cheesecake filling. The cake was extremely moist, and the vanilla buttercream tasted great. People really enjoyed the filling we chose I had such good luck with her, and I would definitely use her again- and we are from Bakersfield. I can't gush enough. Communication was GREAT. I wanted to get.her a cake so using yelp I found Christine....working completely via email I ordered the cake with a horse/donkey theme as we own a horse ranch.
