I came here looking to learn about Mitsubishi Lancers. I'm looking to lease a new vehicle very soon so I'm a serious buyer. From the moment I walked in I could tell this was going to be a less than quality experience. The salesman didn't even seem to care why I was there. He knew less about Mitsubishis than I did (and I only spent 20 minutes reading up online). He walked me out to the lot without ANY keys, showed me several vehicles I had NO interest in (because he just didn't listen to me) and when we finally did get the keys to a car, it turned out to be the wrong car entirely! I bought my dodge dakota here in 2012 and they weren't great on the service side. However, I have some loyalty as they did fix what they said they would when my truck needed a thousand dollars in repairs two days after I bought it. Last Friday my truck's drive shaft blew and I drove over to Christopher's Dodge World. The dodge repair manager Mark checked it and told me that they could do nothing because their transmission/transfer case guy was in training. He did not walk me through prices or the cost of diagnosing my truck but had me sign a ipad authorizing diagnosis. It's my bad for not asking what it would cost but he did not offer it up. Come Monday, I get a call at 3:45pm with a $2,500 estimate to fix the front drive shaft, a left manifold gasket, and fix the water pump. He said the water pump would be $800 which I have fixed for $100 in materials and effort before. I was shocked. He explained it and I said that is 3.5 times the Colorado average. He just said well that is the cost. I called three other places and my usual mechanic said the price with tow across town would be about $1,450. My usual mechanic told me the water pump part was only $250. This infuriated me but not as much as when I told Mark I was towing it elsewhere, he mentioned the $125 diagnostic fee. When we chatted about it this morning, I stated he didn't relay that to me on Friday and I would have made a different decision. He then told me that his services guys did me a big favor when I dropped the truck on him on Friday. He acted like I should be grateful for his service. I told him if I paid the $125 service fee he would lose me as a service customer and I would look elsewhere for a new dodge. He said " I'm sorry you feel that way" and walked me to the cashier. This experience made me feel like I was paying for not letting them overcharge me to fix my truck. I'll take credit for not asking about a service diagnostic fee but seriously this service was horrible even if they did "fit me in on a busy Monday." I won't be returning. read more

The service department insisted I pay $4,200+ to rebuild my transmission, which was allegedly the cause of my stalling truck. The fact is, the transmission was not the cause of the stalling. The only transmission work I needed was to replace a leak in the line. I needed sparkplugs to fix stalling issue. I'm glad I followed my gut and insisted I take my truck elsewhere! I took my truck in 2/23/18 for a recall and they said I had a stalling issue and I'd like it diagnosed and potentially fixed (with proper information first, of course). Brett told me several services he felt my truck needed for $2,200. We settled on three priority services for $1,100, including the transmission line leak, since the "issue with the stalling was related to the transmission". Incidentally, the second service was 'transfer case service', which I later confirmed with my records that I had done 1/16/18 elsewhere. Brett calls in the afternoon and says they took off the pan and "found a bunch of metal material from internal components" and that at a minimum, to fix the transmission issue and thus the stalling issue, it would be a 'rebuild' for "$4,200 if nothing else is damaged", with an option for a 'replace' for $6,100. I stopped the work immediately and asked for my truck back. He said it would be $400 or $500 if he put parts back on the truck. Really? The next day, I finally got the truck back and had another shop fix my transmission leak and fix my stalling issue with new spark plugs without any fuss. The new shop's diagnostic showed nothing else wrong with the transmission and the pan had not been cleaned of alleged metal pieces at initial shop. Long story short, Brett tried to sucker me for an unnecessary transmission overhaul that was unrelated to my original issue. Don't get bullied, get a second opinion. read more

I had a great experience with them. They fixed my car and the repairs were not up to my standards. I called them about two months later to tell them my concerns. I talked to Dan and he said to bring in my car anytime that day. I brought my car in and 20 minutes later and he fixed the repairs again. Don't ever trust the service dept, when I asked about the oil leaking - they said it would cost me $ 150.00 to take out the engine and see where the oil leaking was from ... I turned them down , got a friend who's a mechanic - he said the oil leaking was cause by the bolt that was not tighten enough from the oil pan ! Duh ! They're a rip off and don't ever have them fix your vehicle ever ! read more

Purchasing my vehicle here was not the issue, it was a simple in and out process, However the service department is abysmal, I sent my car in for power steering issue and it was a week after I sent my car in, I called and they claimed they didn't have my car, needless to say I was told by one of the staff that I was calling the wrong dealership, they did have my car but they never put my car in the system, of course all I got was the "I'm sorry but I'm going to put the blame in everything except for myself and not make it up to you." they fixed the issue but a day later my radio doesn't work. I highly encourage you to purchase and get service elsewhere, this will probably be my last dodge ill own due to the not give crud attitude, I'm disappointed in the lack of care of customers. read more

The service department is horrible. Unfortunately, there has been several recalls(they say customer advisements-whatever) on the truck. Concerned about this, we mentioned it to the service department plus an ongoing issue with the A/C. They didn't have records of the "advisements" even though we have taken it there several times for repairs. Missing paperwork irritates me!! Luckily we have copies of all recalls ourselves. Anyways- they sugar coated all those problems and we moved on to the ongoing A/C issue. They kept it all day and found nothing wrong with it. To me a truck's A/C shouldn't be kicking on and off every 5-10 minutes by itself. It's a new truck with less than 8,000 miles on it. This was in the summer time. We just last week got an "advisement" in the mail that the A/C unit is bad and we have to come in for replacement. LMAO-really??? Needless to say we went to the newly renovated Pro Chrysler to have repaired. We'll be going there from now on. Totally different attitude there. Loved the service. read more

Many years ago we bought a Dodge Grand Caravan from dealing Doug but took it to Christopher's Dodge because they we more conveniently located. We took it to C D because there were oil like spots on the garage floor. I was told we needed to have the Rack and Pinion assembly replaced at a cost for $2,000.00 min. The cost was so high my wife took it to a mechanic friend of our son who fixed it in 1 minute on the rack. When asked how much he wouldn't charge us anything. He said the "return line" was loose and it dripped overflow fluid. Stay clear of these guys. read more

I do not recommend this dealership at all!! I don't know how in the hell they can even say they are the "5 star dealership " when I have gotten nothing but shitty service. Including the managers that don't know wtf is going on. I took my truck for a recall and because of there recalls that weren't done to my truck the tailgate fell got dented ! So I took it to them & Larry ( the manger ) has said it was take two weeks! So no one had called me or had even told me that it was going to take longer then what suppose to. So I HAD TO CALL! But they had told me till Wednesday, Wednesday passed and they said the next day ! So the next day I called again & they told me not till the ending of the week! Well, I'm glad I called a couple days before my appointment. I had a question and finally reached Matt, the person who was supposedly my 'service advisor' only to find he had no record of my upcoming appointment. When he finally said that he would change the vehicle information from a Chrysler 300 to a Ram pickup, I said, "Whoa, wait. I never scheduled a 300." The conversation went down from there as he had no memory of our phone conversation or scheduled appointment. This all ended when he told me he was referring me to another person as he knew that he and I were going to have problems. Glad this guy isn't my employee. Back in about 2006 or so, I bought not one but 2 Dodge 2500 diesels there on the same day. Take a guess if you think I'm ever doing business there again. read more

do not buy here. I just spent 58k on a new 1500 dodge ram. Never took truck in for anything. Had to use the 4 wheel drive coming home from mountains last week and noticed burning and pulling. Took truck into service today and 1st thing im told is the service guys work on commission, red flag! 6 hours later im called and it will cost 1800 bucks for a new front axel. Warranty you'd think? nope. I put 2 new tires on the rear that matched the front exactly and exact as far as wear. It was my fault. No warranty. I researched everything i could find. I called my Les schwab tire rep... he laughed. They are trying to rip you off is what my guy said...Yes they are!!! do not buy here, s0on as you leave the lot pray that you do not need to go back!! read more

Worst car buying experience EVER! Find a vehicle I likedon the internet and called. After speaking to the salesman (who was easy to work with) I decided to purchase the vehicle. Spent 5 days sending documents, dealership ran my credit, come to an agreed payment and term and gave credit card info so they would hold the vehicle for a few days. My work schedule didn't allow me to make it in till the weekend. After all this, I set my appointment to pick up the vehicle. The day before I get a call from the general sales manager (who is the most unprofessional person ever) and he tells me do to mechanical issues and safety concerns they can not sell me the vehicle the next day. He told me it could take a week or two or more to fix the issue. I tell him I'll wait till they fix the vehicle. He doesn't seem pleased with my answer, offers to refund my money and tells me he understands if I go to a different dealership. I politely decline his offer and tell him again I'll wait. I then asked if I could come in the following day to see the vehicle in person and he tells me he will have to check with his service manager to see what the protocols are for having people look at vehicles while in the shop. It's about an hour later he calls me back and tells me there's no way he could make the deal and that the vehicle is just too unsafe to sell. He then offers to try to find new vehicles similar to the one I was looking at. I told him I believed that they had sold the vehicle out from underneath me and he hung up the phone on me. He then refused to answer any further calls from me. Save yourself the time, your credit the hard inquiry and the headache you will most certainly have from dealing with this dealership and its rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate general sales manager. read more

We have four dodges sitting in our yard and have been dodge owners for over 15 years. We have taken our dodges to Christopher Dodge to have all repairs and maintenance done. My husband's 2011 4500 with 96,000 miles has been in and out of the service department. It was May 15th and it went in for a oil and filter change. At that time they told us the Air filter was good. Two weeks later this truck broke down with my husband with no indications. The problems was is the intake hose was inproperly installed and it put debrie up into the motor which now we need a new motor which will cost $26,000. I have been on the phone with Chrysler and they will not help us out basically they will not stand behind their product and putting the blame on us as owners. Gene at Christopher told me it was a dirty Air filter that has caused this. Now....lets see.....it was in their service department having the oil changed and filters looked at and they said the Air filter was good but two weeks later it breaks down and they don't want to help us. Poor customer service!!!!!!! I will never come back to this dealership because obviously they cannot be trusted in changing the Air filter and they don't stand behind their customers!!!! read more

Last night my girlfriend and I inquired about a 2015 Hyundai Tucson they have for sale on their used lot. We were planning on trading in my vehicle and while speaking with their Internet rep, Jason Seaberg, we disclosed what type of vehicle we intended to trade in, a figure we wanted to see and the price we would like on their Tucson. He assured us he would do what he can to earn our business, confirmed what we wanted, confirmed the options on our trade vehicle and said he would get back with us after discussing with his manager. We attempted to contact him today, given it was his day off, and was unable to reach him directly. So we called into the store and asked for his direct supervisor in order to make sure he got credit and maybe the supervisor could help us or have another one of their staff help us when we came in. His supervisor, Hasan, explained he would look into the notes and make sure we could come to terms on a deal today. After a little more back and forth than I'd like to have we agreed on numbers that would be worth my time/gas to drive an hour and a half to come do the deal. When I arrived I was greeted by Jason and Hasan, they went through their normal process to get my trade checked in and then brought our their used car manager, which supposedly is their general manager, Randy. I would find it hard to believe such a brash, arrogant, rude man would be put in charge of the whole store, let alone the used cars. He had an attitude from the moment I showed up. And then dropped the offer we had pre determined over the phone by $3,000 dollars. When I said how they have wasted my time he told me to beat it. Hasan tried to justify why they did that and said, 'well we didn't know it was a manual'. When one of the first things we sent Jason was the VIN. And in any program a dealership may use would autopopulate it has a manual. Jason even commented in one of the texts he sent saying, 'A manual coupe'. I am extremely shocked that this dealership would allow a salesman to treat customers the way the salesman did my Husband and I on Saturday12/26/20. He dogged the product he was selling , another dealership and started out by letting us know he was pretty sure we were wasting his time . After at least an hour of dealing with this salesman who did nothing in my opinion to boost the sale I finally walked out on the deal,part of the walking out on the deal was our fault for not giving a correct payoff amount but at what point do you stop your salesman from ranting about that In the middle of the showroom floor instead of trying to fix the problem ( we were going to buy). Do not go to this dealership unless you have thick skin and your financing already arranged! Walked in with thin but decent credit to see what cars fit in my price range. Salesman was friendly, but tried to talk me into new cars above my price range, and pressure me out of the two features I had to have. Was told that they'd run a quick credit check and see what in-house loans I was approved for, so I agreed. Was then told that they checked with over 30 banks and credit unions ("pretty much all of them"), and they barely managed to convince one bank to give me a loan - "because we're just so honest, we're even having to sell this car to you for less, despite your poor credit history!" Note that I did not have poor credit history. It was a very short term loan with 21% APR, and I was pressured into signing the lease right then on a car I'd barely seen. I told them I'd have to give it 24 hours and left, thank god. Drove down to my credit union and got approved for a 10% APR loan in 20 minutes. They were aghast at what this dealership tried pulling over on me. read more

02/16/2012 My wife and I had a pleasant experiance purchasing a new Dodge Ram 1500 and we worked with John and Tim at Christopher Dodge. We got a really good price on our new truck and a very good price on our trade in. and we both were happy. We purchased the truck we traded in from Christopher Dodge originally a few years back and was very happy with the way we were treated and the service we received back then, so after discussing it's time to buy a new vehicle once again, we both decided to go back and see what we could do regarding a new purchase through Christopher Dodge once again, and met with Christopher Dodge first before proceeding onward toward other dealerships here in Colorado Springs. Here's where we were super impressed: After purchasing the new truck, we had several errands to run all over Denver before coming home, so one of the stops we had to make was the Whole Foods Store on Hampton. After shopping, we came out to load up our purchase(s) and found an imperfection on the hood of the new vehicle. Upon discovering this imperfection, we immediately called back to the dealership and discussed what had happened with Tim, drove back in and Tim looked at the imperfection on the hood of the new truck and said no problem what-so-ever in repairing this defect (making it good), and for us to bring the truck in and they will give us a loaner vehicle to drive while ours is being repaired. This alone I can't over emphasize how impressed we both were with not only the truck but the service we received from Christopher Dodge dealership in Denver and will refer customers to them since both my wife and I are not only realtors, but I also hold a high-tech position here in Colorado Springs. I contacted Christopher's Dodge World through the Mitsubishi America website. Matt Hopper contacted me via email and we setup an appointment to look at the new Mitsubishi cars. Even though they just added the Mitsubishi line of vehicles recently Matt was very knowledgeable about their products. I did not feel pressured about the deal and the price negotiation part was very painless. Matt asked me what my needs were and they tailored a payment that met those needs. I did not have to go through the hassle and frustration of "no the price is too high" ten times before we got to the 'real' deal. Their job is to sell cars, right? You would think that they would be eager to sell me a car when I have money in hand, and they have exactly the car I want. But these guys won't honor the price that they agreed to sell the car for. I live in California right now, and the only Challenger I have been able to find that has the options that I want happens to be at Christopher's Dodge World in Golden. My sister, who is in Colorado, went in and came to an agreement on the price very quickly. It was a good price for the car, and I think fair for them and for me. Then they decided that they couldn't sell the car to me because it didn't meet California emissions standards, despite the 50-Sate certificate on the window sticker and in the door frame. After a few days, and our pointing them to the dmv.ca.gov web site, they realized that 50-State includes California. The next hurdle was the incentives available in California. The price agreement that was reached included $1,500 in incentives from Chrysler that is available to residents of Colorado. Since all of the incentives are advertised with the caveat that "residency restrictions apply", this warrants checking to see what is available in California. According to dodge.com, the incentives available in California are $500 California Consumer Cash, and $1,000 Memorial Day Sales Event Bonus cash. My calculator says that $1,000 + $500 = $1,500, the same as available in Colorado. To the guys at Christopher Dodge, however, it only adds up to $1,000, since that's the price increase that they came back with after "checking" to see what incentives were available in my zip code. Don't trust these guys to honor their agreements, because they don't. Don't bother talking to a sales manager either, as he will write you off rudely and quickly. read more

Service has been good. Communication is better than average - better than others in the area. Had a problem once caused by an improper repair. I'm disappointed that I had that problem, but mistakes do happen. To me, it's how folks handle those things that's important. Very pleased that they bent over backwards to make it right. Kudo's to the service manager for staying on top of the whole situation from beginning to end. Edit: should also mention that I had an older diesel in a different shop. After a week, the other shop couldn't figure out the problem. I had it delivered to Christopher Dodge, who sorted it out and handed me my truck back in 24 hours. That's twice now that I've used other shops, only to wish that I hadn't. read more

We had been to Christopher's Dodge World before buying and leasing a car before from them. So they had already gained our trust. My son had a 1999 Dodge Avenger and it needed some work done on it. We needed the service to be done correctly, within a reasonable time and documented well. There was a cancellation which had allowed us to get the vehicle in due to the time without this car causes issues with my son getting around to school, volunteer programs and his job, so they had told us they would begin monday and at latest would be done wednesday. After dropping it off sunday night with a list of items needed to be completed and a pre- approved work cost limit. Communication was great with the service advisor and kept us up to date on the status on the car. The work was done up to the limit with only a $30.00 extra to it which was from taxes and they had let us know what the price was. All the work was done and the car was grabbed recently, the company closed at six in the afternoon and due to the family situation it took until 5:50 to get there and get everything finished up. Which worked fine they didn't mind being there an extra ten minutes. After entering the car it smelt noticeably fresh, did not have any grease marks or excessive dirt from the shop area and was not changed in any way. Great Job! Will be updated later on with any noticed changes, sounds, info, etc. They also provided a list to what was needed to be fixed and the priorities to which they should be done by, detailed information about it and as well as reasonable pricing costs. I highly recommend Christopher's Dodge World for anything you may need, especially their service department which does an amazing job. Thanks to the mechanics the service advisor, and other helpful employees. I will definitely be coming back here for future service on my son's vehicle. Thank you. read more

Do NOT take your car here if, you want it in a timely manner or want the work completed properly. Do take it here, if you are willing to drive to the location for ANY communication or ok with bringing your car back several times to get the work "completed". Please also do not expect the work to be completed properly, once you drive off the lot or be supported. My truck took several months to repair and in the end I had to take it elsewhere for the work to be done AND buy new tires, to replace the ones ruined by their team. They may say they can get to your vehicular quicker than a smaller shop, but after leaving several messages and wondering if you will see your car again; a trip to the lot will show it has not been touched in over a month and is parked in their lot. Please also do not expect the GM to offer a loaner or even apology. Christopher Dodge and Dan Nelson care nothing about you or performing quality work. Fair warning. There is a reason they are not on your insurance preferred service center list. read more

These guys put my Outlander PHEV out of calibration about 4 months ago and have been largely incommunicado since then. When I do get anyone to respond, they are rude and it's almost like they are accusing ME for having the problem. I bought this car in January-now it's June, and I am driving a brand new car that has flashing lights and a warning on my dash for about 4 or 5 months. If I could have returned it, I would have. I love the car but the lack of support for it is a big problem. Christopher is unable to deal with the new PHEV technology, and I blame both the dealership's management and Mitsubishi. What the hell is wrong with these people. I receive a paper in the mail. It says it's from the USPS and this is my final notice to collect my package from the post office. Well considering I run a business out of my home and receive very important packages that are time sensitive, I rushed down to the post office to collect my urgent pak. I get there and the tracking number is fake, the urgent package is fake, the whole thing is fake. Its actually an advertisement scam to tell me that I am pre-qualified to get a loan at this dealership in golden that has a 3 star rating, known for ripping people off and selling them trash. I see why they have only 3 stars. Pulling stunts like this and all the bad reviews, I'm surprised they dont have only one star. So I call to talk to Tim Wilkins, the guys name that is all over of the inside on the paper, but it is not the dealerships number. Its an application number. The dealership number is no where to be found on the paper. I call and ask for Tim Wilkins and the lady on the other end of the phone has no idea who Tim is. Theres an opt out number and I call that but they want my social security number. Lol yea right. So I look up the dealership and call. Of course Tim is unavailable and the man on the phone has nothing to say about the situation. I asked to be removed off there mailing list and he says he will have Tim call me. Lol yea right.
