We came here last weekend on a nice sunny day! We were able to get upper deck seating with the best view in Seattle!! We ordered a half bbq chicken special and half Petros Special pizza and it was absolutely the best Pizza I've had in a long time! As a starter to share with my girlfriend, we ordered the calamari Cesar salad which was to die for! The calamari was perfect with a great flavor to it. To top it off we had outstanding service which they are known for as they are a true family owned and operated restaurant. Definitely coming back and I would recommend this place to others. We stopped by Christos while by Alki beach. Service was alright. Ordered 2 kids meals, a burger and a ha luv pasta with chicken. My pasta was delivered after everyone else finished eating. Also wrong pasta sauce was delivered. I had ordered a garlic butter pasta but got a chicken pesto. I'm not a big fan of pesto but since she didn't have any food and I was starving, I pushed through. I have eaten here many many times, and have never been dissapointed. Breakfasts are more than enough to get your weekend kick started, very high quality food. Dinners are done well too, all of the sauces they use are hand made on site and the attention to detail shows with every delicious bite. Friendly quick service that makes you feel like your having a meal at a friends house. Full bar for those that choose to embibe, and a very nice view of the sound and mountains. The food was okay. A friend ordered a Greek wine he was not very happy about. The biggest problem was the service... they sat us, ignored us for a while, took our order, and disappeared for an hour before the food came. They ignored our empty water glasses (we eventually took a water pitcher that had been left on an empty table), and even after the meal they were slow getting us the check. One of our party had asked for a glass of milk when first seated, and was told after waiting for ten minutes and finding one of the staff that they were welcome to get it themselves. I love this place and try to stop in for lunch on the weekends, especially if it is nice out and I can people watch while eating. They just added big garage style doors that open up the front of the restaurant. I usually get a pizza or chicken salad and sometimes go for the chicken souvlaki which always taste amazing. I like the way they cook the pizza with the toppings underneath the cheese cause then I dont have pepperoni greese on top of the cheese. They have a nice bar area that is usually busy if there's a game going on one of the tv's. read more

Christos is one of the most welcoming restaurants. Despite to great food, the family is always happy and they treat you like family. Stopped by on 3/2 for a quick drink and to grab some lunch to go. Restaurant looked nice, and the staff was friendly, but our order was terrible. Our to-go order was missing our appetizer completely. The tortellini with tomato cream sauce was edible, but the tortellini with garlic butter sauce lacked sauce of any kind. Their margaritas are strong, but not tasty. read more

Love coming to this place that's off alki. Some of the best made food on the beach. The chicken ceaser salad is always freshly made and super good. Pizza is some of the best and the lamb gyro is delicious. The atmosphere is great and very friendly people in general at the bar. I make it out once a week to enjoy the great vibes. read more

Christo's is super good! Crab dip appetizer is OFF the CHAIN! Parking can be rough when the weather is good, because it's right on the beach. This restaurant is one of my go to places every week here at Alki. Love that I can walk to here in a couple of minutes also. The food and drinks are always delicious. My favorites are the greek sampler, gyro, pita bread trio, build your own pasta, any salad, cod and chips, calzone (which are huge!) to name a few. What can I say, you can't go wrong with any of their menu items. They are good homemade/quality meals that are not overly priced. Christos took the "happy" out of "Happy Hour." As a backup option because Duke's next door was full, my friends and I decided to try out Christos' drinks and food. We had never been and it was extremely empty for a Saturday afternoon. Now, we know why this restaurant was a ghost town compared to their bustling neighbors. For starters, I've seen snails move faster than their waiters. We waited about a half hour for four drinks. After receiving drinks, we noticed immediately that there was A HAIR in one. Repulsed, we received our check and noticed that we were not given happy hour prices. When addressing this discrepancy with our waitress, she told us "Happy Hour is not on Saturdays," as she stood right in front of the Christos sign advertising "Happy Hour Daily." Safe to say we will NOT be returning for their overpriced, hairy drinks. read more

The waitress was pleasant and helpful. We ordered a Caesar salad and small pizza to share. The pizza was unlike any we had seen before . It was not on dough but more like crusty bread. We ordered chicken, mushrooms and fresh tomatoes. Cheddar cheese (?) Was cooked on top, the tomatoes were simply slices placed on top of the baked cheddar, and the chicken tasted bad. My boyfriend and I have both worked in restaurants, and never send food back. We just couldn't eat this ! We each had part of one slice and told our waitress we were sorry, but we just couldnt eat it. The female owner came out and we apologized for sending it back and she just defended the chicken! After this, they told our waitress to charge us for the pizza ($19.95) because "we ordered it". They treated us like we had done something wrong. Never going back. This place baffles me. Twice in a month for Sunday brunch on a nice day, there is no host or hostess to greet you and quote a wait time. You wait and wait, then when someone is ready to seat you, you are informed the kitchen is really backed up and your wait for food could be well over one hour. I have to say this is one of the best spots on Alki Beach. By far it has the best view of any restaurants on Alki. This a family owned restaurant which makes it all the better. This is the best pizza I have ever had along with great breakfasts on the weekends. It is always enjoyable when eating there as the family that owns it, makes sure you are well taken care of. They also offer a full service bar which has the best bartender around!! Prices are resonable and portions are huge! Owners just installed garage door windows which will leave the restaurant completely open come the summer months. Definitely worth a trip to visit the best restaurant on Alki Beach!! read more

Had a really pleasant experience and time here. Not sue why some of these people are so passionate about slamming the place. We went down for a pizza and beer after spending the day at the beach with the kids. It was really clean and the people working there seemed pleasant enough. They knew a lot of the customers, so they must be doing something right to get people back again. We don't live in the area but will be back any time we are down at Alki Beach. Our pizza was really good. Salad was fine and they brought some snacks out for the kids while we were waiting for our dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. 5 stars. read more

The manager is awesome! I excitedly gestured over a cool car and knocked over my mixed drink that the waitress just brought to the table. They brought me a brand new one free of charge because the waitress went out of her way to tell her manager and he felt bad for me! Separate from the awesome customer service....The balcony deck is a perfect vantage point to see the Olympic mountains, Alki beach, ferries, and it is perfect for seeing awesome cars and provides for interesting people watching as well....obviously since I saw a cool enough car to nearly knock the table over. Best calamari I've had in many years. Not rubbery, with an ephemeral coating. If you like wet Greek style pizza like me, this is the best I've tasted west of the Mississippi. Extremely disappointed with the service. The food sounded delicious but I wouldn't know because I never got to try it. On Thursday evening my spouse and I stopped by for dinner. We were promptly seated but never got an opportunity to order. It took our waitress over 10 minutes to even greet us, when she finally did we were ready to order but she said she could only take our drink order and would be back to take our food order. 10 minutes later she finally shows up with our drinks and STILL wouldn't take our food order. She drops off the drinks and said she would be back. Another 10 minutes later and she still hadn't returned. Upset hungry and frustrated we left money for our drinks and left. We waited over half hour and never had the opportunity to place our order. And the place didn't even look that busy. Unless management only staffed her as the only waitress. This is one of the more disappointing eating establishments in West Seattle, and they might even qualify for a Gordon Ramsey "Kitchen Nightmares" make-over. While it's probably OK for pizza, go somewhere else it if you're looking for a satisfying dining experience. A friend and I ate here a few years ago, and the food was mediocre at best. My "lemon" chicken was dry, over-cooked, and lacked any citrus flavor. The bland mashed potatoes were intermittently lukewarm to cold. My friend's dinner was equally bad. Everything-- the veggies, ice berg lettuce salad, the Brand X dressing, etc--all looked and/or tasted like generic prepackaged, processed food from a grocery distributor. Absolutely nothing seemed fresh or, house made, and lacked any flair or attention to flavor or presentation. I tend to expect any restaurant meal to be something more than what I can whip up in my own kitchen with Safeway ingredients. Adding to this unmemorable visit was the dated, generic decor and oddly-arranged seating. Considering the prime location, you expect something a little more upscale, especially when they're charging such high prices. Maybe it's changed, but I have never been back to find out. You also have to wonder about a restaurant that has a web site but does not post their menu or list the prices. What's that about? There's just better options on Alki. read more

I would not recommend going here. We went for a family dinner and were promised great food that was greatly disappointing. If your going to eat anything just get pizza or the calzones.
