    Looks even better in person

This bakery is so cute! It doesn't look like much on the outside, but you won't be disappointed once you walk on in. In fact, I thought I put the wrong address in my GPS thinking that maybe I just went to the place where the goods are made and not the storefront, but it is all together in one. Once you open the doors, you will start drooling at the sight of all the homemade Polish goodness. Everything looked delectable! I stopped here on two separate occasions and saw that their cookie/cake cases change with a variety of sweets (I'm sure that some items are always available, but it was really nice to see different seasonal sweets being offered). The one time I was there, I overheard a worker describing a cookie, explaining that its frosting was like a cannoli cream. Yum! They also have a cooler and freezer stocked with house made kielbasa, pierogi, soups, glombki, and other Polish specialty items like pickle soup. I have had their chrusciki, placzek, and pierogi. All were top-notch and made as they should be. Bonus: Follow them on social media (and Simply Pierogi) for your chance to win a package of chrusciki (angel wings), a loaf of placzek, or a pack of sauerkraut pierogi. They do a daily give-away for a random name(s) that they choose and a birthday give-away too. If you go, be prepared to pick up some other goodies, because they are irresistible!

I live in lancaster but have never stopped at this bakery. On Thursdays they have free placek if your first name is the "name of the day". My name popped up and so I decided to stop by. I also purchased a birthday cake macaroon and a pastry heart. The pastry heart was fresh and soft on the inside and had a crunch on the outside. Best I've had in years. The macaroon was large in size but it was awful. The particular flavor I purchased tasted like sugar but also had that weird flavor of chemicals like food coloring or something. The placek was very good as well.

Highly recommend Chrusciki bakery. We used them for our wedding reception in December and the quality, flavor and presentation was everything I could have hoped for. Our tasting experience at the Lancaster location was great, Leah was very informative and helpful and able to accommodate our group. The communication throughout the entire process was very easy and everyone was very kind and helpful! We ordered the white almond raspberry cake as our tiered cake and it is my personal favorite. The red velvet sheet cake, macarons and cookies were all GONE at the end of the night. Everything was a big hit with our guests!

Stopped in for something for my sister in law who is layed up and wanted something sweet so I went to Chrusciki for a mini almond ring one for her and one for me because they are Mr favorite they have so many delicious things to choose from I had time to choose what I want was another customer there ! They are helpful and friendly. My sister in law called me and told me how much she enjoyed her mini almond ring lots of frosting shaved almonds on top and plenty of almond paste inside since I took pictures she already looking for what she wants next time so I guess I'll be seeing you soon Chrusciki

Finally they chose my name (Nicole) as the name of the day to receive 2 free cupcakes with a purchase. I was there when they first opened on a Monday. While I was in the store, one other person popped in. I purchased 2 large pastry hearts and received the 2 cupcakes for free, and my total was a little under $8. The cupcake was delicious and moist. I liked the taste of the chocolate frosting. It tasted kind of like if the frosting on the Hostess cupcake was homemade. Obviously 1,000 times more delicious than the Hostess cupcake frosting. The pastry hearts were fabulous as well. It is a really cute bakery. They also have pierogies and sausage and soups available. I can't wait to go back and try some soups. There are also many parking spots available.

Mouth watering bakery products available at Chrusciki bakery. There is another location at the Eastern Hills mall also. You can pre order cakes here but the pastries, cupcakes, cookies and breads are so moist and fresh you just can't wait to bite into them. Give it a try it is worth the drive. I have a friend that has me bring one if their cakes for her birthday as it is her favorite. The macarons are so amazingly delicious you can't leave the store without some. Service is great and the ambiance is the feeling if a European pastry shoppe. Try it out you will have a mouthwatering experience

I saw this bakery on my Facebook feed a lot of times. Mostly people sharing name of the day. If your name get picked then you get freebies with purchase. I know I would never get featured my name is so uncommon! But today my bf name get picked! So I made him go there with me to check it out. A nice little bakery with a lot of unique different varieties. They also sale pierogies. We ended up buying the Chrusciki, caramel macaroons, pistachio macaroons and we got free cupcakes. Our favorite was the pistachio macaroons. It's so delicious, creamy, nutty, sweet but not cloyingly sweet and has some crunch on it. The caramel is ok but I felt a bit too sweet. Chrusciki is so soft, not overly sweet but also somewhat savory. We definitely will come back for the pistachio and other tasty stuff.

This place is intoxicating. Went today because having the name of the day, we were picking up a free placek. They do request you buy one thing too but honestly, how can you buy only one thing?? Everything is done to perfection and looks almost too good to eat....almost. We could've gotten the yummy cut out cookies or old fashioned cupcakes but tummy pulled me to the freezer where "Simple Pierogies " are kept. If you haven't tried these yet RUN to get them. Personally, I love the blueberry and cheese ones. I am not a blueberry fan but I cannot resist them. Don't wait until they pick your name to get a free bakery item. Go now!

Me and my girlfriend traveled from Los Angeles to Buffalo for a couple weeks to visit family and yesterday August 8th was her birthday. I was in a panic because I needed a cake in 24 hours and Chrusciki Bakery help me out. They did an unbelievable job. The Cake tasted really good and the service was awesome. Best tasting & lowest priced custom cake I have ever bought. Cheers to this company, I personally highly recommend.

Do you happen to work downtown? Do you love a farmers market? Do you enjoy anything with sugar? Well guess what? You need to check out Chrusciki Bakery at Kaminski park on Wednesday between 11 and 1:30pm. This cute little almond ring honestly made my day. Just look how small and cute it is. I really enjoyed this almond ring and it was definitely enough for Two servings. They also had the classic polish desserts like polish cheesecake, chrusciki and a variety of loaf cakes. In the past I have had their cake made for my grandfathers birthday and it was okay which is why I am giving them a 4. It seemed to have been made a day or two in advance so it wasn't as fresh or moist as I would have liked it to be, although it was still delicious!

They did a fantastic job with my wife's 50th birthday cake. It was absolutely beautiful and delivery was free. See photo! Also, it was really delicious too of course.

A Facebook friend tagged me in a post from this bakery. The bakery has a name of the day and if it's your name, then you'll get free Chrusciki. I've never been here but I wanted to check out this place. They have a very small parking lot, right in front of their bakery. It was full when I got there, so I parked just past it. On the door, there is a sign stating that they are open and asking that only five customers come in at a time. There is a sign next to it asking customers to please where a mask while inside. I decided to buy a few things for myself, since I drove all that way for free Chrusciki. They sell pierogis, meats, and a few other things but I was only interested in their awesome looking baked goods. I bought a HUGE peanut butter cookie, two cuccidatis, a peanut butter cookie whoppie pie with strawberry frosting in between the cookies, and a pastry that I was told is similar to a cupcake but more like a pie crust underneath. It has white frosting on it and I'm looking forward to eating it tomorrow. The peanut butter cookie was fantastic as were the cuccidatis and the Chrusciki. I wanted more cuccidatis but they were $19.99/lb so I only bought two. A friend had ordered her wedding cake from this company. It was really delicious!!! I'd like to come back soon to try their pastry hearts and other yummy-looking treats.

I ordered my husband's birthday cake from Chrusciki's and can't say enough about how happy I was with it. It became the centerpiece of the table and possibly the best part of his party! Thank you so much for helping make his birthday special!

I supported them constantly…read more They have wonderful gluten free baked goods, as well as great breakfast sandwiches with a gluten free roll, if one so chooses. I will discuss three different run ins with Gabrielle's. First one - I went there in January to grab some sweets for a little crafting party I was hosting. I ordered both gluten free items and non gluten free items. The woman working, who was new, proceeds to ask me if she can put the non gf and the gf in one container. I said absolutely not. How can you not be trained on this, or not know not to do that. Why would I be ordering gf items, if I'm going to agree to put them in the same container. It defeats the purpose. Second time - Valentine's Day. My husband and I had a tradition of going to support Gabrielle's on Valentine's Day because they offered different gf items and a romantic atmosphere. This was our third time attending since living in the village. We arrived right when they opened, and they weren't opened yet, which was fine. When the owner unlocked the door, she wasn't very friendly. I let it slide, and continued to choose to visit Gabrielle's because I loved the baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. Third time - I stopped in on my way to an event to get a breakfast sandwich. It was about 10 minutes after they opened on a Saturday. It was quite busy there. There were roughly 2 or 3 tables occupied throughout my half hour stay.  Most notably there was a mom and daughter there. I'll get back to that in a minute. When I arrived, I was the only one at the counter. The same girl from the first not great encounter was making coffee behind the counter. That is fine. What wasn't fine, was that she didn't acknowledge me at all and I waited there awkwardly to put my order in for a good 5 minutes. Weird, that you wouldn't say, "Hi, it will just be a minute, as I'm working on another order,"  or something like that. The owner also came out of the kitchen during this time and took several Door Dash orders, but also didn't acknowledge me standing there. All I needed was a Hi, I'll be right with you. Something. I felt like a ghost. Fast forward, woman takes my order. It is for a gluten free breakfast sandwich. I sit down and wait. I wait for a solid half hour for my breakfast sandwich to be complete. During this time, the mother and daughter duo go up to the counter and say that they told the woman when they ordered that they needed to get everything by 9am, and it was 9am, and they still hadn't gotten their sandwiches yet. Why does it take a half hour to make 2 breakfast sandwiches?! They finally get their order and leave. The woman goes from the kitchen to the counter and is yelling to the owner, "If they wanted their food faster, they should have went to Tim Hortons." There was me and about 2 other tables present for that. I thought that statement was absolutely horrific and disgusting. Everyone who came through Gabrielle's and who goes to Gabriele's chooses to spend their money locally. To help a local family and support their business. To say that in front of customers, is abhorrent. I finally got my breakfast sandwich and left. I ruminated this for a while and decided against posting this review and emailing them directly about how this comment was unwarranted and not ok and the employee should be reprimanded. I received no reply back. This happened in February and it is now May. I have not received any acknowledgement regarding that my comment was received. I can only take it as the owner and employees don't care. Thus, I'm posting my review.   Not to mention that they claim to sell fresh bread on Saturdays, and there were a couple customers who arrived asking to purchase the fresh bread, and were told it was still rising and would be ready around 1 pm or so. What?! You would think they would be more in a hurry to get their bread out on a Saturday morning. That is when people want to eat fresh bread. It breaks my heart that I can't support this business anymore because the baked goods are so delicious, but I'm going to support other local businesses that value their customer base and are happy that the customers who walk through their doors want to support local.

It was a busy Saturday so there were a few people in front of us. We decided to get some things out of the pastry case and a couple chai lattes to go. Unfortunately for us with it being later in the day, the last of some of the items we wanted got taken before us but we ended up getting a slice of pumpkin roll, a cider donut, and a slice of carrot cake. The desserts were all so good. The cream cheese frosting was made perfectly and the cider donut had such a great flavor to it. The only downside was the wait for the drinks. The drinks took about 15-20 minutes to get to us. They were short on staff it seemed like so no worries but we had finished our food and were waiting for the drinks still. This is a really cute little spot on Main Street and I would love to go check it out again and hopefully try a couple of the things we didn't have a chance to next time.

A giant cupcake painted on the wall adds even more drama to the whole picture. I agree, I'm not the one who should judge the taste of cupcakes, but what I tried was very good. The texture of Cookies and Cream was moist with a firm beautifully swirled frosting made of vanilla buttercream. The Butterfinger was even better. The best thing about my experience was that it didn't feel like eating pure sugar. All ingredients were nicely balanced and truly satisfying. We visited on Saturday very early afternoon. I knew the best way to have what is most desirable is pre ordering. From the eight kinds of cupcakes offered this day, we were able to have just two. Everything else was already sold out. Babycakes Cupcakery offers more than just regular cupcakes. I saw photos of beautifully decorated mini cakes and jumbo cupcakes. I would definitely treat someone I like with their luscious creations. I had read about legendary cinnamon scones and have been a huge scone kick (especially cinnamon!), so I had to try them. Not only do they make cinnamon though, they take a unique approach to their fruit scones by filling them with fruit jelly, so of course I tried a lemon blueberry filled scone too. The filled ones are better in theory than practice. The lemon flavor of the dough was almost nonexistent and the blueberry jam didn't spread well enough to help out the other lacking flavors. The cinnamon scone absolutely could have potential, but unfortunately mine was overly hard and crumbly - I wish I had asked for a specific, newer and lesser-baked one, but such is life :)
