This place has a great vibe, popping, modern, self serve skewers with other optional dishes. The food was fresh and charcoal gives nice Smokey flavors which elevates the taste buds. The service was great, friendly, fast, and no wait time for a popular place. A new and great experience. Highly recommended.

Fun, interactive dining experience with grilling your own skewers at the table. There's a good variety of meats and vegetables to choose from. There is an automatic charge of $3.99 charcoal fee/table and $0.99 seasoning fee/person so make sure to season the meat. The skewers are priced around $1.50 each. The freezer area can get crowded since that space is a little narrow. The chairs and tables are a too low in my opinion and I'm average height. I can't imagine how uncomfortable it is for a tall person. Be prepared to smell like bbq/charcoal smoke after your meal.

Great place for an easy dinner! Food was delicious! The charcoal wasn't lighting up and it took a bit for someone to notice but once they did, we were in business! I wish they had some sides, but rice and the veggies skewers were good. Can't pick a bad skewer option! It was all yummy, can't wait to go back!

I've been wanting to come this place for a long time! Joined the waitlist and we got in within 10 minutes! Everything is self-serve, including water, skewers, and extra seasonings. My husband loved the fried shrimp patties (3pcs). We also ordered the fried instant noodles which were BOMB and the fried rolls with condensed milk. Those were rich and so delicious, liked a fried donut! You can order everything from your phone which we loved and was so easy! Every meat we had was great (mostly beef). The pineapple skewer with sugar was great! They were very welcoming for first time guests and the girl explained everything so well! Be careful because the oil can splash or get on your clothes...the meat is so juicy coming off the grill! Seasoning fee is 0.99 per person and charcoal fee is 3.99 per table. We opted out for the membership because we don't live super close, so I don't think we'll come often...but we'll definitely be back...and with friends!

I'm actually kind of on the fence about this place, which is rare. I love KBBQ and JBBQ, so I was looking forward to trying a skewer style eatery. Overall, the experience was somewhat lacking. It took a long time to get any server's attention, and we weren't there on a particularly busy evening, but the fridges were always crowded and it made it difficult to regularly grab skewers. Also, the tables and chairs were very low to the ground. I was okay with this, but my partner, who has knee pain due to an injury a few years back, really struggled to even just sit and eat at these rather small tables and chairs. Also, for a meat place, the best thing I ate was the cucumber salad. I'm something of a cucumber salad super fan, so I mean it when I say this is one of the best cucumber salads ever. It was delicious. Everything else, on the other hand... It was just okay. Every single meat, regardless of what you grabbed, had a distinct, same-y flavor. It kind of tasted like fridge? At first, I thought it was just a meat that I got, but then I had several cuts of meat, chicken, and vegetables, and they all had the same strange flavor. I think that was the thing that most bothered me. I don't anticipate coming back here for anything other than the cucumber salad, which is a shame, because I was really excited to try something different.

Delicious skewers! It's on you to cook them well because it's not hard to overcook the meats! But just keep an eye on your skewers and flavor them with all the provided seasonings and the taste is fantastic! You order from your phone for any cold items or fried foods and self-service all the skewers, its quite the interactive experience!

If you're trying to hit your protein and fat macros without going overboard on your carbs, this is that spot! Self-serve when selecting which skewers you want, wide selection from your favorite wagyu choices to seafood and veggies! Here, they price it by skewer and we easily crushed 29-30 skewers, left satiated and paid and the bill was not too bad! I feel it's fairly priced for their skewers and the seasonings on the side help amp up the flavors! I also do like the lower set chairs and tables, just giving it all the more comfy cozy vibes, kinda like cooking at home, cooking our skewers how we want (medium rare to medium well)! We've already been here twice and plan on coming back for more! Thanks once again!

Our first skewer experience, and it was great! I love the whole concept -- it's kind of like Korean BBQ where you grill your own meat, so you can control exactly how cooked you want everything. I also enjoyed being able to season the meat yourself. You can add as much or as little seasoning as you want. I recommend getting the tomatoes, mushrooms, squid, scallops, and fish cakes. Maybe it's the charcoal they use, but when you grill the tomatoes, they burst with juice and sweetness. They pair really well with the meat. The squid was the best -- sweet, crunchy, and not chewy at all. The fish cakes also become nice and crispy when grilled. Everything paired really well with the meat skewers and added different textures and flavors. Everything is good when you dip it with sesame oil! Overall, it was a great experience. It can get pretty expensive if you eat a lot, though. They also charge extra for salt and soy sauce, lol. But still, a great first experience!

Great quality, prompt service, and cute street food style ambiance! Came here with my husband and best friend since we haven't tried it, and we were definitely not disappointed. There are coolers full of various skewer options and the side menu is easy to order through QR code. Great spot to grab a quick bite and all their items were fresh in quality and taste. Absolutely loved their tofu with scallions and cucumber salad too. spices are on the side for you to rack your finished skewers with whatever seasoning you like, and the cooking process is quick to fresh off the charcoal consumption!

This was such a great experience!!! If you are a really big group, expect to have some trouble waiting to get seated right away because most of the tables are meant for tables of 2-4 people. There's maybe only a few tables that can accommodate for more and the amount of tables inside the restaurant isn't that much. To go to the bathroom, it's in the small space in the back behind the curtains. On the bright side, we were expecting to wait here for at least an hour based on the waitlist estimation, but we were able to be seated after 15 minutes!!! For every skewer you pick out, it costs about $1.33 each but we had the Chubby membership that let us get it for a $1 each!!! The staff helped explain where to put our trays on the table and how to grill each skewer. The seasonings are extra but are included if you are a member as well. I had fun picking out their A5 brisket, wagyu tendon skins, pork belly, etc. I got very satisfied from the meat quality and overall it was a good and tasty meal. My first Chubby skewers experience!!!

    Jieun L.

Ambiance: it feels like you're walking through an Asian market at night! the seats are low as well Service: it's more of self serve. the servers come by to pick up trays & to drop off what you ordered extra Food: really liked the concept of this restaurant! skewers are $1.30 each - some meats have 2 skewers to hold it up so fyi on that. i liked that they had vegetables, fruits, seafood, & different protein options. the meats on the skewers are pretty small and cook fast. i wish the meats were a little bigger - it's like a child size bite lol Overall, enjoyed coming here with friends!

I'm addicted. Recently came back from NYC and in Flushing and Manhattan china town they have Chinese skewer carts that are open super late. I stopped by one by chance and I was blown away. Cumin with spicy seasoning over a charcoal cooked meat skewer. So simple but so good. But when I get back to Vegas I was craving this delicacy pretty hard and the only way I knew how to recreate it was at home. That is until learning about Chubby Skewers. Chubby Skewer is exactly like the cart in NYC. You have to pay a fee for the charcoal and the seasoning and then after that it is $1.30 per skewer of your choosing. The charcoal is very important as it imparts that special Chinese charcoal flavor on the meat. Hard to replicate at home. I am partial to the wagyu and lamb skewers. The lamb is so juicy and the wagyu has a solid beef flavor. We're typically putting away 15 skewers per person so cost wise it's pretty reasonable for what you get. Two things to note. The water cups here are super small. You will take one sip and there goes all the water, and you're off to filling your cup again with water. Second thing to note is that the seats are close to the floor and very uncomfortable. So if you have a bad hip or knee this spot might not be the best for you. But I can't stop coming here. Chubby Skewer is my new weekly ritual. So if you're in the area you have to try Chubby Skewers.

    Ekaterina S.

The meat on the skewers is very small bite-sized pieces, but overall the quality seemed to be good especially for the price ($1.50 per skewer). We ate here for a late dinner where the music was very loud. I'm not a fan of how close the tables are, how small the chairs are, and that the grill is inches away from you, which everything combined can be dangerous. Getting skewers from the fridge proved a challenge as I had to make sure I wasn't bumping into anything on the way there. The space could definitely be improved because I was very overstimulated. Service was not the best since we were rarely checked on, which was frustrating to wait/ask for the check. Since I now know what to expect, I'm willing to try it again!

I was impressed with it and look forward to coming back to try some of their other dishes from cuisines I'm less familiar with. That's the advantage of a place like this: You can easily find something safe, but also try something new. The ambiance is upscale without being oppressively fancy, if you know what I mean. We dropped in for a late dinner at 8PM, driving there directly from Zion National Park after hiking Angel's Landing. It was still surprisingly busy inside and we even had to wait a bit for a table! The waitress first brought over some cucumber lemon water, then took our order. The food only took about 10 minutes to arrive. Spicy Beef Noodle, Knife Shaved ($15.97) - Whew that broth. It's like cough city on the first sip, that chili and sichuan peppercorn mixture really gets into the throat. It then transitions into a robustly beefy, salty, and even slightly sweet flavor. It's so beefy it's almost gamey in taste. The heat is actually very balanced, although after sipping on it throughout the meal, I started getting pretty sweaty even with the AC on blast in the building. The beef is great. it's fatty and has connective silverskin still attached; it's like the best part of the tendinous shank. Other than that there's the perfectly cooked, bouncy knife shaved noodles, and a couple of leaves of crunchy blanched bok choy. (5/5) Beef Pancake ($9.75) - I thought these would be dry like shao bing (I have never had 餡餅 before) but construction took us totally by surprised. The beef pancakes are almost like a flatter, beef version of sheng jian bao, complete with juicy beef aspic. The wrapper is chewy and thinner than a typical SJB, but works well here; it's not thin enough to cause holes that leak juice out. The meatball inside is beefy and flavorful, albeit not as tender as a typical pork meatball. The taste of both the juice and beef are very allium forward and full of umami. (5/5) Dan Dan Noodle, Hand Pulled Noodle ($13.97) - The topping is a cold meat and preserved veggie mixture, minced finely until very tender and soft. It's combined with plenty of sesame paste and peanuts, giving an overwhelming nuttiness. The noodles, in this case the hand pulled one, work exceptionally well, being perfectly cooked and staying the same bouncy consistency throughout the meal. My experience with the hand pulled noodles in broth at the other Shang location was that the noodles got too soft only ten or fifteen minutes sitting in the broth. I would definitely get hand pulled only with dry dishes. On the bottom of this dish is a really spicy sauce, both in heat and mala numbness. It's very fragrant and lemony even through there's not much red color. The dish as a whole is far more spicy overall than the Spicy Beef Noodle. (5/5) The portions Shang Artisan Noodle serves are huge. We hiked Angels Landing before eating dinner here and we were only able to finish about half our meal. Shang Artisan Noodle serves some really great noodle dishes. There's a reason we keep coming back for more! Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for women, one for men

Spicy hand pulled noodle soup 5/5 - Incredibly warm, flavorful, and delicious. The noodles were perfectly chewy and the broth was packed with flavor. Generous cuts of beef as well. Zhajiang Mian 5/5 - My favorite of the two dishes and the best Zhajiang Mian I've ever tried. The minced pork sauce was absolutely delicious and coated the noodles so well. Would definitely recommend checking this spot out for your next visit to Vegas!

It is located in a strip mall with an abundance of convenient parking. Inside, they had nice tables and bench seating and also had a couple of nice sized round tables with lazy Susans for larger families. We arrived around 7:30-ish and it was quiet with one or two other parties dining. Their take-out business appeared to be robust, which was a good sign that they must be doing something right with their offerings. Menu is pretty standard fair. Noodles in broth with beef shank, various dumplings, rice plates and dry noodle dishes. We started with the deep fried spring rolls which were tasty. The wrapping was very thin and delicate and had a nice crunch for each bite. There are six in an order, which is a great value. Wife ordered the Lucky Beef Noodle which has a mildly spicy broth. She asked for half the normal amount of noodles, as she feels that the noodles end up soaking up a lot of broth. I ordered the Beef Soup with Dumplings, which is basically what my wife ordered without the noodles. I wanted noodles added, so they were gracious and added the noodles my wife did not want to my order. The broth was flavorful and mild, not much of a kick. But the pork and cabbage dumplings included in my order were out of this world delicious and paired perfectly with the beef and its broth. I highly recommend this specific dish! If you are in search for Taiwanese food, give them a shot. Good quality, fresh food that is nicely flavored!

Everything was good, but the Spicy Wonton was definitely my favorite and I highly recommend it! It had a nice kick, the sauce was flavorful, and it was one of those dishes you just keep going back to. I would definitely order it again. The Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle had a rich, spicy broth with tender beef, and the House Special Fried Rice was also well seasoned and paired nicely with everything else. The food came out quickly, and the price was very reasonable for Las Vegas. The three dishes were $35.65 before tax and $38.64 after tax. If you come here, the noodles are good, but don't skip the Spicy Wonton. That was the highlight for me.

The broth had great flavor and I usually don't drink the broth in soups on its own. Service was quick and server was very polite and attentive. They had bar seating as well as booths and tables. You can see them making the noodles through the window by the bar. Seems like enough seating until busy times. After we got there just a bit after 6ish seemed to get full at that time. Wasn't too loud or too quiet. Would definitely come again and can't wait to have the soup next time we visit. Maybe we will try some of their other dishes as it all looked delicious.
