Although tiny cattle is known for the bbq, the hot pot is equally as good. They always have tables available, which is nice since you can walk in whenever you're craving! The meat is very fresh as well as the veggies. My favorite soup base is tomato, oxtail broth. It has so much depth and flavor and has a bit of delicious tender oxtail inside. For veggies, we want to get the mushroom platter as well as the veggie platter carrot with some shrimp paste and potato noodle. They also have a full size bar, so you create any dipping sauce you like. They even have a conveyor belt that you can pull additional toppings off, like tofu skin, sweet potato, and many other choices. I am becoming a regular here!

Okay wait... Chubby Cattle might actually be my new favorite AYCE spot. I tried the milk tea and it was alright, but the side dishes bar completely impressed me. There were so many options and everything felt really well done. The wagyu selection here is kind of insane, so naturally we ended up ordering basically all of them. The quality of the meat was honestly so good too. Everything was super tender, flavorful, and melted in your mouth. What surprised me the most though was how solid the sushi was. Usually AYCE spots are either good at hot pot or sushi, but the salmon carpaccio was actually so good and all of the rolls and handrolls were really quality. I was especially obsessed with the unagi handroll. The desserts weren't my favorite part of the meal, but they definitely looked cute. Overall though, I'm genuinely impressed with the quality here and I already know I'm going to be back.

As a hot pot fiend, I had to come back to my favorite spot. Jia and Nell always take care of me, and their warm personalities make the warm soup even more comforting and satisfying. The beef belly and lamb are always my go-tos in the tomato oxtail broth. Whenever they have the golden chicken broth, I HIGHLY recommend getting that. I also recommend the meatballs and vegetable combos. The decor is elegant and the ambiance is very social and chic. The revolving conveyor belt is iconic so make sure to try some items from there (you don't have to be sitting next to it to grab items). Eating in is definitely an experience, and with great servers, it's the best for a date night or a celebration! Thank you Jia and Nell!

Chubby Cattle is a really great hot pot (or hardy Soup) restaurant located in Chinatown. Most of the soup bases do contain pork but non pork eaters still have a lot to choose from. You adorn your soup pot with a great variety of add ons. The small size add ons are plenty for two people. Two people don't need the large size add ons. You also use the condiment bar to embellish your soup a little further. Most of the seating is booth seating. The tables have electric soup wells to keep your soup boiling hot. They also have bar seating. I forgot to mention that they also have moving conveyer belts with bowls of food that you can also add on. We had different Hot Pot Soups but both of us were surprised on how good tasting they were (House Original Hot Pot and Vegan Beautiful Tomato). Then we added several add ons. tomatoes, baby corn, noodles, potatoes, pumpkin, mushrooms, wagyu brisket, flounder. Some things cooked up very fast and some things like the potato and pumpkin took a very long time to cook. I had a little trouble with my hot pot because the tomato soup is sweeter depending on what you add the bottom starts to burn. The only add on that I wouldn't recommend was the flounder. It cooked up nicely but had a fishy taste. It was still edible but wasn't so good. Our server was very nice and helpful. He also cleared plates quickly. Pro Tip - Chinatown is the least busy Sunday Lunchtime - Get there early and you will probably get in.

Stopped by Chubby Cattle in Vegas around 7:30pm on a Saturday night and were seated right away. The restaurant is pretty spacious with plenty of seats. We sat near a conveyor belt and had individual hot pots. You order à la carte with the waiter, and if you want extra sides, you can grab them directly from the conveyor belt. They also have a sauce bar, so you can mix and match your own dipping sauces. The meat quality is really good, making the hot pot experience even better.

Before today, I had only tried Chubby Cattle's barbecue grill restaurants in Southern California. Although this location is not all-you-can-eat, I was truly impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and the generous portions of meat included in the combo meal. The staff were extremely friendly and patiently explained how everything worked, which made the experience even better. Another big plus was that the combo meal also included cocktails and ice cream--definitely a nice treat. Recommended dishes: Assorted Mushroom Pot, Seafood Combo Platter, Japanese A5 Wagyu with Egg, Meatballs, Spicy Soup, Hot Pot Sauce Bar, Combo for 2, Beef Brisket Parking: * Plenty of free parking available * Parking can get very crowded during dinner time, so arriving a bit earlier in the evening is recommended to secure a spot

Ingredient list for chubby sauce that has no measurement, which is extremely dangerous with ingredients like numbing oil
    Amy J.

WARNING: I almost choked to death here after consuming the "numbing oil" from the sauce bar, and I genuinely believe the restaurant needs to make the risks much clearer. I came here for dinner with friends a few nights ago. It was my second time visiting. After ordering, I went to the sauce bar and decided to make the suggested "Chubby Sauce." The sign listed ingredients, but there were no measurements or warnings explaining how potent the numbing oil was. Since there were no instructions, I added a spoonful of each ingredient and mixed it together. When our food arrived, I dipped my first bite of meat into the sauce and swallowed it. Within seconds, my throat felt completely paralyzed. I suddenly could not swallow or breathe, and I couldn't feel my mouth or throat. I panicked and tried to get my friends' attention while struggling for air. my friend's boyfriend eventually got up and began performing the Heimlich maneuver on me while the entire restaurant watched. Something came out of my throat, but I still could not breathe. I genuinely thought I was dying. I started blacking out. At that point, a server came over and immediately asked if I had consumed the numbing oil. I shook my head yes because I still could barely breathe or speak. Someone nearby called 911. After another attempt at the Heimlich maneuver, I threw up at the table and was finally able to breathe again. Our server was kind and helped clean everything up, but no manager ever came to check on me, no one followed up afterward, and nothing about the situation was addressed. I sat there in complete shock and tears while we finished the meal, and we were still charged full price at the end. I truly believe the sauce station needs clearer measurements and warnings. I later learned the numbing oil is extremely potent and should only be used in very small amounts... not spoonfuls. The current sign gives no indication of that whatsoever. I've tried calling the restaurant multiple times to warn them and encourage them to fix this before it happens to someone else, but nobody answers the phone. I'm posting a photo of the sign because I genuinely think this setup is dangerous. If my friend's boyfriend had not performed the Heimlich maneuver on me, I honestly do not think I would have made it out of that restaurant alive. What also disturbed me was that the server's first question was whether I had consumed the numbing oil, which made it seem like this may not have been the first time something like this has happened.

We keep trying other places, but we always come back to Chubby Cattle... We have the higher tier of membership so we get 2 free broths and other goodies with each visit! When they were doing their BOGO free meat promo with membership, we were here like 2x a week lol. If you like Chubby Cattle (or any of the other restaurants in the Chubby Group like Mikiya, Chubby Skewer, Chubby BBQ), it's worth getting the higher tier membership, it generally pays for itself within 2-3 visits and you can use your benefits at all their restaurants. Chubby Cattle has excellent broth (we're obsessed with the tomato oxtail), a robust sauce bar that has everything I could want, and good quality meat that's tender and delicious, never tough or sinewy. A lot of the other hot pot places we've had usually hit 2/3 or all 3, but are significantly more expensive (looking at u, Hai Di Lao). We came the other day since we were craving it, and had excellent service from Nell even though it was super busy! She was super attentive, thoughtful, and knowledgeable of the current promos and meats. If you have her as your server, you're in good hands :) Will definitely be back as long as they keep up with the quality and taste (and bring back the BOGO meat promo at some point PLSSSSS)!

If you're craving high-quality hot pot with great service and a fun, interactive experience, Chubby Cattle never misses. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive, walking us through the menu and making sure we understood the broth and meat options. The ordering process is smooth, and everything comes out fresh, well-presented, and fast. The broths are rich and flavorful without being overwhelming, and the variety of meats is where Chubby Cattle really shines. The cuts were tender, well-marbled, and cooked perfectly in the broth. The sauce bar had plenty of options to customize your dip exactly how you like it -- which is half the fun of hot pot. Portions were generous, and everything felt clean and high quality. It's definitely a great spot for a date night, group dinner, or when you just want something comforting but still elevated. Yes, it can get busy, but it's worth it. If you're a hot pot lover (or even a first-timer), this is a solid go-to spot in Vegas that delivers every time. Pro tip: Go hungry and take your time -- it's an experience, not a rush meal.

Chubby Cattle has individual and family sized sharing pots. Not all tables accommodate the family-sized sharing pots, so it'd be good to let your server know if you'd want that option. We ordered a variety of plates to share - assorted vegetables, assorted homemade meatballs, assorted seafood, lamb and beef plate, and beef tongue. Quality was good! For recommendations: - Any of the noodles (egg noodles and spinach noodles were so bouncy and chewy). - Hand-made meatballs combo - Wagyu short rib - Tomato Oxtail Pot Parking sucks in this lot so you may need to park in the plaza across the street (Teso Life / 168 Market plaza) and walk over. There weren't many servers/waitresses there, so service was slow.. they were doing the best they could. And for sauces - they have a sauce bar! I recommend making a sauce with: sesame oil (a little), soy sauce, Chinese bbq sauce, sugar, oyster sauce, ponzu (lots of this), sesame sauce, peanut sauce, cilantro, and green onions!

    Yum yum time.

Always a great hot pot place but today was top notch. The food came out fast and fresh and our server Neil Y was super attentive. Our water stayed filled and she kept coming by to make sure we were ok. Even filling up our broth. Even though we have been here many times it seems this was the best service we have gotten by far. Will be back again with family and thanks again Neil for being our server.

Food quality, service etiquette, and quaint ambiance is always consistent here! Kevin made my lunch experience another incredible one that left me so satisfied! Service is always friendly despite how busy, but Kevin made the service top tier today. The quality of the broth selection and consistency of how attentive and great everything here is from service to all meat, veggies, sides quality makes it 5 stars every time. So thankful to have this location here so close to home! I'll always be back for the best mongolian hot pot in Vegas.

Unfortunately the crispy beef wasn't great in our opinion and reminded me personally of the meat quality at Panda Express. Maybe this dish was meant to cater more to the Western palate. Yum Cha is nearby where my daughters and I were staying in Las Vegas (LV). I read some great…read morereviews. Thought we check them out. It is located in the Trop Plaza on Tropicana Ave and Decatur Blvd. Plenty of parking. Spacious inside with lots of seating. Klaws and other games were near the entrance which I find interesting especially in a Chinese restaurant. We were greeted and seated right away. They weren't super busy on a Monday late morning. Our server was pleasant and amicable. He attended to us frequently throughout our dining. Other lady servers brought us our food timely. Thank you All! Menu offers quite a variety... reg dim sum, delicious dim sum, chef specialties, house specialties, super dim sum, vegan no-meat dim sum, congee, noodles, rice dishes, appetizers, entrees, lunch specials, and more. Prices of the dim sum vary from $5.98 and up. We chose a handful of dim sum and one Shrimp & Pork Wonton Egg Noodles. Overall, dim sum was decent. A few of them could have been better in preparation, flavor, and taste. Wonton noodles were tasty. *Bean Sauce Chicken Feet - skin was on the tougher side, could have been more tender, sauce was too thick, flavor was okay *Crispy Taro Pancake - top layer was crispy, but taro fell apart when picked up by chopsticks *Egg Tarts - light and flaky crust with soft, smooth & jiggly egg custard filling, amazingly good, definitely would get again, wished it came with 3 instead of 2, they are bigger than normal egg tarts, but still *Fried Pork Ball - just okay, nothing special *Golden Sand Lava - huge baked bun with lots of oozing sandy egg yolk, must get! *Shrimp Dumpling - full of shrimps in thin skin, tasty filling, good size, worth the price! *Shrimp & Pork Chives Dumpling - more chives than shrimp and pork, flavor was mediocre *Shrimp & Pork Shumai - surprisingly flavorful, but wished there was more shrimp than pork Glad we got a chance to try this place. I would return to try their other dim sum and lunch specials in future LV visits. Worth stopping by if you haven'ty already.

Parking was easy. Stand alone building. Came midday, around 2pm, so it was a little slower and…read morelacked the energetic and robust feeling of a typical dim sum restaurant. Set up was a little different, no carts, but there was a huge counter that displayed a lot of the dim sum...similar to take out counter in a market. They do table service and order from menu. Menu had a lot of photos and easy to navigate. The good: turnip cake-crispy and not oily, flavor of wonton Soup was good, Gai lan Chinese broccoli was tasty. Dumplings like Hargow, and siu Mai tasted a little old. Wrapper dry and filling was denser in texture. Tripe stew had good flavor but texture was mushy (passed the point of tender) Service was fine, staff was available when needed, but overall felt quality/ambiance could be better. Maybe better during prime time or breakfast.

I can't believe I haven't written about my favorite dim sum restaurant in Las Vegas! When I heard…read morethat the owners of San Francisco's Koi Palace were launching this concept, I was close to the first in line when they opened. It's been top notch since the very first visit. I have taken friends, clients, and colleagues, and the response has been uniformly positive. The menu has changed over time, but the dim sum classics are all there, often with a nouveau twist. What really got me was coming for dinner with a large group, where we could really savor the seafood, noodle, and meat dishes. I'm not going to run down the list because everything I've tried has been excellent, and I've tried most of the menu. We always enjoy decapitating the crispy mochi ducklings, filled of course with minced pork. The wagyu steak and wagyu fried rice, the xiao long bao with vinegar caviar, and salt and pepper tofu are all winners. The interiors are beautiful and give a different feel wherever you sit. Bring a friend or bring a large group and go to town.

We had what I think was a decent amount for 5 people and paid over $200 without any of the more expensive menu items, only dumplings. For the price and what we got, I don't think it was worth the price tag. Alright, the foods. Pork soup dumplings, rainbow shrimp dumpling, pork shrimp shu mai, chicken shu mai, bbq pork bao buns, pork belly bao buns, the ducklings, crunch dragon wings, chicken satay, and the eel crispy rice. Everything was good, but the best of the bunch were the pork soup dumplings and the eel crispy rice. The pork soup dumplings came with a black vinegar "caviar" that complimented the flavors in the soup portion. The crispy eel rice had a great char on the eel and the rice was crispy without being overly crunchy. According to kid 3, the notable mention was the crunch dragon wings that had the "perfect spice and really crunchy skin." Oh, and kid 1 was not a fan of the ducklings, she realized that she's not a fan of 5-spice which these had an overpowering flavor of. Overall, great experience but for the price we paid vs what we got was not worth it. The lychee martini! That was sensational, if you're 21 and enjoy a sweeter cocktail, this one is for you! Service was top notch, the ladies and gentlemen know what they are doing there.
