    Party pic

We had my son's birthday party here. The show with Chuck E cheese was very rushed. I didn't even get a REALY good pic of my son with him. I was trying to watch my son dance and was told that second I had to light his candle. So I ended up missing the super short time he was out there and didn't even get his lit before they were done singing. Also the ticket blaster was part of our package and my son didn't get to do it.

Only lowing reviewing this because of how small this pizza is for such a great price. The pizza is roughly 7 inches and it was $20 for 2 of these. It's the personal pan size but we were expecting it to be a little bit bigger. Taste great though.

This place is even scary to walk in. I pulled up with children ready to eat and play to see this. No thanks. Heading to Dave and Busters

This is a large Chuck E Cheese with 2 floors full of fun. It has some really neat games. However, we arrived early Saturday morning & we were disappointed to see some many machines out of order or out of tickets. My kids played some games before realizing the ticket printers were empty. They were quite disappointed. The place was also a little dirty. You'd think it would've been cleaned the night before, but if it was, the cleaning crew didn't do a very good job. The staff was also little grumpy with my children. It wasn't the type of attitude you'd expect from a happy, fun kid-centered business. The place is best for kids who are a little older. My 3 yr. old couldn't really play any of the games, but she rode the horse, cars, and other machines available for her age group. Altogether, we'll probably go back again on a cold day when the kids have limited options.

chuck e cheese has always been near and dear to my heart. this one specifically since ive been born and raised here in Anchorage. i absolutely love the food here and service is always great! usually its just some teens working who are very very kind and super chill! the pizza comes out quickly and is always super crispy and hot! the whole place is super clean right now! inside and out! if you're in anchorage and have nothing to do this is the perfect place to bring your family! masks and temperature checks are required which is absolutely fantastic! i love to see them being responsible! some tables and games are roped off for social distancing, which is once again very very good. this place has had a major upgrade i definitely reccomend!

I'm glad I went to check it out, but outside of going there for a show I don't see myself going back. Seriously gave me college bar/frat house basement party vibes. Considering I went to a Big 10 school in the middle of Illinois I'm very well versed in that type of establishment/vibe. It's not exactly the kind of place I want to go to as a 30 something year old. I went there for a burlesque show. Shout out to Pulse Dance Company! The show was amazing and tons of fun. The bar itself I don't think has had any updates since like maybe 1995, and that estimate is probably generous. This bar was probably the place to be when it first opened, but now it's kind of just tired and sad. It could probably be better if they took the time & money to renovate it, but they don't really have an incentive since people go there regardless. Koot's kind of just exists, but considering Anchorage is the biggest metropolitan area Alaska has it's a confusing type of establishment to find here. If you're looking to party though it seems to be the spot!

I visit every time I go to the mall but Christ it's horrifying looking at those prices, for example I was cowering the Wii section and I came across 2 copies of Mario kart going for 60!! The cases were even discolored and it's super easy to find the games going for 25 in a better condition on eBay. Additionally I came in there last year and was shocked by the trade in credit they offered me, I had been amassing about 300 dollars worth of games I picked up for a couple bucks at various garage sales and thrift stores and they only offered me 50 bucks for everything. Literally just one of the games I offered them was worth that amount. Just looking at their consoles is crazy to me too, 125 bucks for a n64 is absurd which from my knowledge has been in their case for months. I got mine a couple years ago for about 50 with games and some original boxes. Lastly I think they are really shooting themselves in the foot here by not expanding with more modern titles, most people in the scene have no interest in anything older than the ps4 and Xbox one, yet those sections are some of the smallest in the store. I personally collect every generation and console, w about 20 consoles and ~600-700 ish games but I am obviously not the norm. With the closing of the GameStop right below them they have a massive opportunity to take over in the modern games department.

It's not uncommon to experience an incompetent employee working the pay desk, and holding everyone up. Give yourself plenty of time and exercise patience...it's for the kids. I was hesitant due to past reviews saying this place was super dirty, with cockroaches etc, but someone told me they closed down for awhile to address those issues so we decided to give it a try. We went for Toddler Time and were pleasantly surprised by the facility. It's not the most updated place you've ever seen but I definitely wouldn't call it dirty. Some of the flooring in the changing rooms etc is a bit worn but everything is pretty clean in general. It's an indoor water park so you have to expect a little humidity, iron buildup, and worn flooring in the areas that constantly get wet. The water was super clean and clear, and our kids had a blast. My only minor complaints would be that the only showers are community type showers so don't expect to go in and get a full shower unless you're cool with everyone seeing you, and there aren't really floaty toys readilylike are advertised on the website (but the nice lady at the front desk let us borrow some). Also the lifeguard on duty was meandering around staring at his phone most of the time, and that could be better. All in all 7/10 would go again.
