I took my baby here for her birthday and it was her first time ever at a Chuck E. Cheese's. Well it was probably awesome being a kid in this environment. It's wildly stimulating, with sounds, kids and bright lights everywhere. They're definitely different from when I was a kid. If you haven't been in the past decade, there's no animatronics fixed to a stage but there is still music and life size Chuck E. Roaming around. My daughter liked the games because she's three. There was a good mix of games for little kids, rides and an assortment for larger kids or adults. We got the tokens loaded onto a card instead of a timed card so it'll be a few returns before we max it out. The price wasn't all that bad. Despite the conspiracy theories about mismatched leftover pizza slices they actually appear to come out fresh from one whole pizza. The pizza itself was alright. By no means bad but used to be a lot better. The ranch tastes mid but the same as other locations in the lower 48. As far as service it was 50/50. Some of the people working do not care and are not very friendly but the young lady behind the register was super. It did take 35 minutes to get pizza from the time we ordered until the buzzer went off. The fries are not my type but they're a safe food for my baby's allergies. Visited CEC for the first time in a few years. I immediately noticed how minimalist it's become and I like it. Definitely a cleaner vibe. I like how you use the cards/machines for games. I imagine lines get long during peak hours. Luckily we were there at opening. Most games were brand new and easy to use for my toddler. They even have a little jumping area that will require you to visit the front desk for non-slip socks. Plenty of seating up and downstairs, the booths look new and updated. I unfortunately cannot comment on the food this review but CEC usually has very decent pizza, wings, and salad. Next time! Those bathrooms are still gag worthy though. I want to say the flooring right before the bathroom was completely soaked through. As someone with sensory issues I was mortified to feel the squish under my feet. Haven't been here in a year or two and they've made a few changes. First, there's no tokens anymore- you load or reload a card to play games. You have two options- a time limit loaded on the card (30 mins for $11 for example) or points which you can save and use on a future visit. We did the 30 mins and added two dollars for a total of 37 mins for $13. Not bad. I liked the "tap to play", worked just fine. We went on a Tuesday early afternoon around 1pm and almost no one was here except for a couple moms with their toddlers (not school age). Place looked clean to me, they have a hand sanitizer station by the bathroom and the bathroom was clean when we went to wash our hands before leaving. The equipment and games looked clean too. We brought our 1 1/2 year old and there is a WHOLE section just for toddlers. She loves it so much and everything was just her size. For 37 mins she ran around, played games for tickets, and rode on rides. Loved it. Immediately after leaving she passed out (jackpot). I don't know how it is on the weekend or in the evenings, I'd suggest if you want time to enjoy, try to go on off peak hours and you'll have the place to yourself. I was told there was a buffet too until 2pm but we had already eaten beforehand. Very mid-level experience - The food is NOT exciting, but they don't pretend it's high quality stuff. You definitely know who the target market is when the kids get inside - although... 2 ticket machines working - Saturday evening... There was a longer line to the machines than to the registers. All but one of the machines worked, and now that it's one coin, one play - much better. There could definitely be more professionalism at the front desk, but they seem to be pretty competent both with ordering and with handling kids who have a handful of tickets and no idea what plastic toy they want. This is a large Chuck E Cheese with 2 floors full of fun. It has some really neat games. However, we arrived early Saturday morning & we were disappointed to see some many machines out of order or out of tickets. My kids played some games before realizing the ticket printers were empty. They were quite disappointed. The place was also a little dirty. You'd think it would've been cleaned the night before, but if it was, the cleaning crew didn't do a very good job. The staff was also little grumpy with my children. It wasn't the type of attitude you'd expect from a happy, fun kid-centered business. The place is best for kids who are a little older. My 3 yr. old couldn't really play any of the games, but she rode the horse, cars, and other machines available for her age group. Personally, I found this place to be disgusting. I was here yesterday for my friend's little sister's birthday and did not really enjoy my time at all. First of all, the play pass scans slower and can only be done around every 15 seconds, causing you to limit the amount of games you can play, second the tickets per win at all of the games I tried were extremely low. The prizes you can earn with them are pretty much worth you paying for two hours to get a bag of cotton candy. Third, the pizza were burned along the edge, the top of the cheese was burnt(not too bad), and it was completely drenched in grease. As in I could literally see the lights shining off of the crust from it. This might not be the restaurant's fault entirely, but I believe it is, I got sick about 2 hours after I left. It's making me miserable, my body hurts, and it's a struggle to stand up from it making me feel horrible. I feel cold constantly and it is disgusting. Ordering food is a snap; getting it is the long part. It took nearly an hour for 1 cheese pizza and some wings. Also finding a clean table was another battle. The setup is nice though. Multiple TVs, an animatronic Chuck E Cheese, a real one comes out sometimes. chuck e cheese has always been near and dear to my heart. this one specifically since ive been born and raised here in Anchorage. i absolutely love the food here and service is always great! usually its just some teens working who are very very kind and super chill! the pizza comes out quickly and is always super crispy and hot! the whole place is super clean right now! inside and out! if you're in anchorage and have nothing to do this is the perfect place to bring your family! masks and temperature checks are required which is absolutely fantastic! i love to see them being responsible! some tables and games are roped off for social distancing, which is once again very very good. this place has had a major upgrade i definitely reccomend! read more

(1) the new card system with time limits and credit card system is such a horrible thought....teach kids to use credit cards rather physically viewing coins does teach them zero accountability relating to financials. I find this highly Alarming, Disturbing and Unethical. (2) I kindly requested forks for my daughter's Birthday party and the employee stated: we only purchased one-salad, we only get one-fork. Yes, this is true customer service at its best vs. that I had already spent over $75. at this location. So I ended up buying $40 worth of tokens to get kids started. we had to ask about everything nothing was led like we thought. It was not any worse than any other kid's birthday party but we thought by paying for a package it would be easier and more organized. It wasn't. We brought our cake but they light the candles and cut the cake. AND as far as cleanup they brought us plastic garbage bags. It only involved throwing paper and plastic everything away. Didn't they used to do that? The pizza is not good - yeah I knew that already but you cannot get the salad bar with one of the party plates. That is just for the pizza. I could have bought a salad plate but looked at the salad bar and decided to pass. Didn't they used to have beer here years ago???? I don't drink beer but others may have wanted / needed some. A cheaper way to have a party here is to have a non hosted party. Just get there, order what you want, buy the kids tokens and bring your own cake. It seems if you have to go here this is the way to go. AND the jam up at the counter when the kids cash in their tickets. Horrible system ... and there is nothing the employees can do. It takes little ones that long to make up their minds plus they do not have the math skills to look at two toys and see if they have enough. YIKES I hate this place. All in all I was here frequently eons ago when MY friends had kids this age. I believe it was so much better then AND not because I had more patience then - believe me I did not. Not like the Chuck's I remember when I was a kid back in Orlando. They only have one animated character on the small stage. I was looking forward to the bear playing the drums.. Won't find him here, only a person dressed up in a cheap looking Chuck costume. A LOT of the games were broken and you have to deal with kids running around raising complete hell, but hey that's what the place is for i guess. They do provide security for the kids, children and parents get matching stamps. I would still keep an eye on you kids. Today, it's been reduced to an unappetizing mess of stale crust, little cheese and sauce, and little flavor. Disgusting filthy family bathroom. Urine caked all over the base, seat, lid and rim. Had to clean it for my 3 yo grandson to go. Sink was covered with dried up soap and there were so many used paper towels that they were all over the floor. My friend said that it is always that way. The ball games were all messed up with some have no balls other row had way too many and a third had just three. The kids love Chuck E Cheese. I guess that is all that is required. The food is left to be desired, but I guess the kiddos don't really come to eat. They come to play. It was nice that the mascot mouse came around to shake hands and give hugs. It's awesome that we can just buy the prizes the kids want rather than going nuts on getting tokens to win tickets in the stead. Though the prizes are of such cheap quality, they're not worth the purchase price anyways. As mentioned, the kids enjoy it, so we visit every few weeks. It's for them, not us. read more

We had our toddler son's birthday here this afternoon. It was busy! A few birthday parties going on at once. Our experience went perfectly! We all had a great time. Rhonda called us a few days before the party and went over our birthday package. She gave me some good suggestions and saved us some money. It all went very smoothly. The facility is very clean and the staff was excellent. All young people running the show today on the floor and in the kitchen and at the door. We were impressed by them. There was a young man working named Horacio who has an amazing work ethic. He was on top of the ball for EVERYTHING for our party. He checked with us frequently. I was told this place was remodeled over the summer. I was very surprised by all the negative reviews on Yelp that I just saw today. Those reviews are from over a year ago. The place was clean, the pizza was pretty dang good, the salad bar was decent, MOST of the games worked and we ended up having a nice time. It wasn't overwhelmingly busy, but, it wasn't slow, either. I recently took my son and my sisters 3 kids here while they were up visiting from Maryland. I have to say that this place has continually slid downhill over the course of my recent visits for some time now. It is not the Chuck-E-Cheese I remember from my childhood. The stage has been replaced with television monitors and there used to be a band upstairs of mechanical animals that played instruments. That too is gone as well. The kids however still absolutely love it here, but as a "paying" adult it really has very little to offer in the terms of value for your money and they did away with the parents medication (beer) which made the time, money & energy you had to expend here a little easier to swallow. The food is WAY overpriced and tastes like something that could have come out of your freezer at home. The service however was very good and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Overall, it's for the kids and as long as they are having a good time I guess that is what really counts, but I think this place could definitely increase its business if it went back to its roots a little bit to when Chuck-E-Cheese was Chuck-E-Cheese!!! read more

No gift bags on the table they forgot the ice cream, piñata, almost forgot the ticket blaster, almost didn't even give us the 1k ticket voucher. I paid for the biggest package and got shafted. I liked how big this place was, 2 stories of games and fun. My daughter had so much fun she didnt want ot leave. Our pizza was pretty good, ive always liked chuck e cheese pizza. Theres nothign bad i can say about this place other than i noticed the front door lady letting people leave without checking stamps. This was our first time at this Chuck E Cheese. It was a Saturday, and I think there were 3 or 4 birthdays going on while we were there so it was incredibly busy! My kids had a great time with all the games and rides, and only 1 of the rides we were looking to go on was broken. Had my son's birthday party there and it was a flawless, easygoing, fun experience. Staff was absolutely wonderful! We didn't have to do anything but show up and roam around with the kiddos. They set up everything, serve plates, clean up, and do a few things with the kids. Staff was very upbeat, facility was very clean, the party was organized and well worth every penny we spent. It's a fun place where you can be a kid. But c'mon now? Where are the workers to clear out the tables? Every table has trash piled up.
