First off, I would like to thank Nimra Malik and Sandro for being so courteous and welcoming for my special needs son. My son has issues with going into places that have background music playing. Chuck E. Cheese was so awesome and accommodating us , by lowering the music for son to be able to enjoy himself. I want to personally think these wonderful individuals for making my son Andrew have such a memorable moment. Additionally, the pizza was amazing! We ordered the combination as well as the meat pizza and oh my gosh I can't remember how great this pizza is! Not once did we have to ask for additional condiments or drinks. Our host was on top of everything! Thank you so much Chuck E. Cheese staff for such a memorable time!

This is an example of games that are starting to go out of order

Wow I tried to give it another chance this place is going down hill fast, the prices they charge should have every machine working but no today more than half the machines were out of service, I thought they stopped giving the tickets out so this wouldn't happen. Also I would be mad if I booked a birthday party, which there was two different parties and not have everything up and running. Really sucks because my daughter is the one that's sad not only that the place is really mismanaged very crappy expensive experience. Two cards for 1 hour is 72$ just to have the good games turned off really sucks

My daughter had her 4th birthday party here at Chuck E Cheese. She had a blast! We got the $99.99 for 6 kids birthday and added on 6 more kids for $19.99 each. We then bought pizza, wings, fries, vegetable platter for lunch They also provide a big variety of cakes for $24.99. We all had a great time. The manager and the staff are all very friendly. My daughter lost her bracelet with all the tickets loaded in it but the manager was so nice to give her a new one with tickets. They are the best!

I really like this CEC. It's clean and pretty much all the games are in working order. Rarely are they broken. The pizza is good too. I know the store itself doesn't make the prices but I think the salad bar is overpriced. Our visits are usually an hour in a half and we almost always see Chuck E walking the floor. I'm glad you don't have to pay to play each game. You pay for a certain amount of time you want to play and all games are unlimited during that time.

Omg been 30 yrs...never...thought...I'd step foot in this place - niece birthday present (along with her charcuterie board)
    Cheryl M.

The last time I stepped foot in a Chuck E Cheese was about 30 years ago so when my 9 yr old niece wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese as her birthday present, my mind was screaming "Nooooooooo!" (Chuck E Cheese head slowly spinning and pulsating) while I slowly developing tmj from clenching my teeth and fake smiling. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised or had very low expectations. The thoughts of screaming (unruly) kids, place being messy and a cesspool of germies in the ball pit with subpar pizza...though, I have to admit I liked the pizza back in the day! Good times! Maybe due to covid business has changed a bit...we went on a Sunday @1pm and wasn't too busy. :: Buy minimum of 15 points or 15 ($15) mins of time...the cashier explained if your kid plays a lot then the points is the best option :: No more tokens and now you receive a wristband with a card to scan :: No more paper tickets and winnings added to your card :: Arm stamped and checked (club style) to ensure no weirdos leave with your kid I was a little lost so have to give major props to ** JOSE **. He was manning the redemption booth, cleaning the tables, sweeping, wiping the games down and keeping the dining and gaming floor neat while we were there (1-4pm) He was very patient with the questions and showed us how to add more points for play time and helped me get a refund at the counter when the machine displayed an error Overall, staff was very helpful, managers out checking the floor, games wiped down, pizza was good, staff checks when people leave and the niece had a blast....no TMJ this day! By 4:15 it started to get busy and time to make our escape. And FYI - no more ball pit with lost bandaids to be found

Family fun! Thank you Chuck E. Cheese and Heaven for making it great!
    Matthew H.

Had a great time for daughter's 3rd birthday party. Heaven was a great party host and we are really thankful for her. Heaven was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and did everything she could to make sure we had a great time and our daughter had a fantastic birthday! Thank you Chuck E. Cheese and Heaven!

Round1, a far reaching franchise, has enriched communities with a spot to host birthday parties, company functions, or just a couple hours out with the family or friends. Hosting several bowling lanes, a dedicated space for billiards, and a plethora of arcade games spanning almost every genre, no matter the event, your party members will have a great time! This particular location within the Southland Mall campus commands a multi-storied space accessible from the main parking lot that is seldomly packed. Upon stepping foot through the automated doors, you'll take the escalator or elevator up to the main floor where you'll find their bowling alleys, claw machines, arcades, and food service. As a first timer, it was quite overwhelming with all the flashing lights, colors, and sounds but find your way to the main registers/check in counters and they'll get you situated and informed. For those looking to bowl, the staff will set you up with a lane and you'll have the option to pay by the hour (VIP lanes) or by the game. For those with bigger parties, paying by the game may be more suitable but for those high speed rollers, they should cram as many games as possible in the hour as a VIP. Shoe rentals are charged extra but reasonably priced and can be forgone if you have your own pair. The lanes are pretty well maintained and configurable for each player (bumpers automatically come up if turned on for players). Balls ranging from 6 pounds to 14 pounds are easily accessible and bowler ramps are also available for the younger folks needing an assist. Aside from dropping some pins, consider pocketing some balls in a game of billiards, racking up some virtual tickets in the many arcade games, or scoring some prizes with the claw-type machines. To play any of their games, you'll need a game card that can be purchased through one of their kiosks or at the counter. Take note that there are three different cards: 1) timed game card (green lit games only), 2) regular game card (any lit game), and 3) VIP game card (same as the regular game card but is replaceable in case it gets misplaced). The cards can also be used across multiple locations so if there's another Round1 you plan on visiting, the funds you've loaded into the card can still be used. The venue also serves food and drinks although we didn't order any this time around. The options seem pretty extensive including pizza, ramen and fried snacks for the bites and soda and alcoholic drinks for beverages. With the many activities, food/drinks, and dining spaces, it's a great spot for small to medium sized parties. Larger parties might get a bit chaotic especially during peak hours but the arcade space didn't seem to get too crowded during our afternoon visit. The staff were pretty pleasant to work with and friendly in welcoming us. They all seem to keep busy in their respective roles which meant the place was relatively clean and organized for all patrons. Overall, Round1 seems to be a fantastic one stop shop for all things amusement for the young and the old. Games and activities are accessible and the environment is lively, keeping the vibe fun and light. We had a great time with the kids and enjoyed ourselves as well. Food seems reasonable priced and has a bit of variety to satisfy all tastebuds. The staff was easy to work with and the place is well kept. Being accessible to the mall, highways, and bridges, the place is convenient to get to and makes for a hassle free outing. Round1 might be the start, but it won't be a surprise if round two or three ends up following close behind!

I'm so happy my kid's team chose to celebrate here after our championship-winning game! This location is so clean and has so many fun things for the kids to do. As soon as we got there, the gentleman at the register was ON IT. He was helping everyone and making sure the entire team was well taken care of. The league covered the kids' meals, while the parents purchased their own food and drinks. It did take a while to get our food, but it was completely understandable. About 15 families walked in all at once, and they still had regular customers there enjoying the World Cup game on their many TVs. They have an arcade and laser tag. The arcade prices weren't bad at all. The kids each got a $25 game card and had enough credits to play for about an hour. Once we got our pizza, it was definitely worth the wait! Even though it was a personal-sized pizza, my husband and I were both able to eat from it, and it was enough to satisfy us. To be fair, we had also sampled some of the other parents' food while we waited, but I still thought it was a pretty good portion. Overall, I would love to come back whenever we're in the area or after one of our games. A special thank you to the gentleman at the register. He was truly a team player. Not only was he helping customers at the front, but he was also bringing out pizzas, checking to make sure everyone was doing well, and just had awesome energy the entire time.

Hayward is an underdog city - and this is such a unique space. If I was the mayor of Hayward I would shine a light on this place as I think its an important piece of the city. I live just 2 blocks away and have never gotten any note on my front door or advertisement or coupon. I think that is a shame. If I was head of marketing for this business I would place a flyer under every door mat in a 5 or 10 block radius. This is a missed opportunity for core customers. There are new high rise buildings also popping up - a huge senior building - why not a special flyer offering seniors discounts if they show up for an early bird dinner? Often times you can also tell if kids live in any given home in the neighborhood. There are kiddie pools, tiny shoes left out front, bikes thrown around in the front yard - these homes should be targeted even more aggressively with fliers and some sort of incentive to come in. Another huge problem with this place is the lack of emphasis on ease of 'searchability' of the place. I had lived so close since 2016 and had not known about the place until maybe 2020 during the pandemic. How is that possible? It's all about not knowing this is an arcade. Sector 19 doesn't mean anything to me. It should be called 'Sector 19 Arcade' so that people can find it with a Google or Waze search. The arcade is clean and bright and fun for little kids. Its a safe place too - where parents can hang outside more in the restaurant part and not worry they wandered off - there is only one way out. The arcade needs to be front and center - this is why people come. Pizza House or Susie Qs have no competition in this arena.... so lean in on this. I will say that a Susie Qs has an edge with food quality - so again, more reason to make the family friendly atmosphere the center of attention.

Castro Valley hosts this mini golf spot that's an affiliate of the Golfland family and features its two 18-hole ranges perfect for beginners and experts alike. After a few rounds on the green, consider venturing into their arcades to play some good old fashioned video games (Time Crisis and other dual player shooters, Mario Kart and other racing games, and fighting games) and skill games (like skee ball, table air hockey, and claw machines). Be wary, however, for those who have game cards from other Golflands, they're location specific so they won't work here unless you have one from this spot. Starting from the giant parking lot which is just off of a busy street, you'll make your way through the gates and stroll up the long walkway to the front desk where you'll register to get your clubs and balls (you'll get your choice from among a few colors). From there, you'll have your pick of the two courses, one for novices and one for the more adventurous. Make your way through the obstacles and mark your scorecard to determine the winner of bragging rights! We came for a birthday party and logistically, they have the main room amongst the beginner course which is well lit from all the open windows but I believe they have another space near the arcade for those looking for a more enclosed, private gathering. Once the guests arrived, they hosted an orientation and got the members all equipped and ready to go. The youngsters had a lot of fun and can't wait to return! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. You'll interact with them more at the arcades especially if you'll be redeeming prizes with your hard-earned digital tickets. The ticket values on the top tier prizes were pretty large but for frequent visitors or lucky winners, you can get some pretty neat stuff here. The mini prizes definitely reminded me of my times at the arcades when I was a kid, very nostalgic! Overall, Golden Tee Golfland is a well-maintained, family friendly environment conducive to an awesome time outdoors as well as an exhilarating experience soaking up the old school arcade vibe. We accumulated a ton of steps during our visit here and the kids could not stop hitting the greens to get their fluorescently colored balls into the holes. The obstacles are fun - there are water effects and moving doors and bridges. While most of them functioned as expected, there were a few hiccups with some like balls getting stuck or certain doors just not functioning as expected. For wetter seasons, the holes for the balls do end up pooling which makes picking the balls out a bit of an unpleasant endeavor. For being exposed to the outdoors, the place was in pretty good shape, however. It's a bummer that the Golflands don't have a unified system for the game cards as it just incentivizes families to just pick one and stick with it instead of venturing out and exploring the other amazing locations like this one. If you're a local, this is a great place to take a date or the family - it'll tee you up for a good time!
