Never thought I'd be the type to give this place 4 stars, but it's happening. Took my 4 year old here for his birthday for the first time and had a great experience. Can't speak for the food, but it was super clean and well maintained and the customer service was beyond excellent. Great employees and we will be back! read more

For it being really busy they really need to hire more staff to keep parents informed of the little ones getting on top and inside the games, and keeping the place clean. My little ones like to go to this kind of places but this location is by far the worst and the machines are greedy with the tickets. This location is the closest but i might just go elsewhere. read more

I wanted to rate this 3 stars but I'm taking into consideration my kids would rate it a 5 so you get a 4. I guess if you're a kid it's terrific but I always feel kinda trashy when I come in here, maybe because it's in Kent I dunno. On the plus side everything is generally pretty clean and people are nice. I would recommend to go right when they open because you practically have the place to yourself and your kids can run around getting a bunch of free tickets from the workers that function test all the games (cool!). read more

We just had our kid's birthday party here... Fun to be had for all ages. We had 17 kids attend from 1 - early 30s. (Caught several of the parents and chaperones playing the games too...) The manager was very nice - told me if I had any requests to let the staff know and they would make it happen. (Don't hear that line very often in the customer service field these days!) The food was alright too- just had the pizzas. A couple of the adults actually commented that they were surprisingly good. Maybe we set our expectations a little lower since it is Chuck E. Cheese so we were all pleasantly surprised. Overall my little boy had a blast and so did all his friends! PS - look for coupons online before you go and you can really get some bang for your buck! We found coupons for 100 tokens for $10 online. And pizza special coupon for $18.99 - 1 large pizza, 4 drinks, and 40 tokens. Good times! read more

This is going to be a long review but the other day my sister wanted to take the kids out. Let's start off with the kids having a blast, as they usually do until the end. This location needs more workers to help when machines are not working or just in general. Not only that, some of the workers need to be retrained on customer service! Several machines weren't working or they ran out of tickets so we waited for someone to help. Everytime we needed help, the gentleman was nice and helpful. Just towards the end of the stay was where things went downhill. Our last game we played owed us over 900+ tickets. My son went to the front desk 3+ times to let them know we needed an attendant. Took nearly 30 minutes for someone to come!!! During one of those times he went up to get someone, she told my son we needed to wait because everyone was on break! As I went up, showed her a picture of the game and the tickets it said was owed, she then also said everyone was busy to just wait a few more minutes! Someone finally came to help. Now, it was time for the kids to get prizes. The lady working the prize area had an awful attitude. Before we turned in the receipts, the kids calculated everything with the help of my sister. They got over 5k total tickets. The lady said she calculated just a little over 4k and as I told her the kids got something different, she ripped up the receipts and said well there's nothing she can do since it's already in the trash! Then she goes and says well, I guess I'll just give you the amount you said. As we thanked her, she asked one of the kids what do you want with her bad attitude... As the kids went on about picking their prizes (so far 2 - 1000 prizes and little ones that probably added to a couple hundred) I took a peek at the calculator which had over 2k left. She changed the number to 226... Yes, 226!!! I told her I saw what she did and she wanted to argue about it. I told her the items we had didn't add up to 5k. Asked to speak with a manager and she said no one was available! Wtf! Kids were getting antsy so they just picked the last of what they had left and we were gone. I suggest anyone who wants to take their kids to enjoy some playtime, take them to a place that will give better service, etc! read more

Just went for my nephews birthday, it was crowded and loud... but so much fun! We have been her many times.The staff are friendly and helpful, it was clean and the food was good. Evan the pizza was flavorful, hot and crispy! Our favorite Chuck E Cheese to go to! read more

Had a bad experience the last few times we have been here, my 3 kids n myself have been coming here faithfully for the last 8 years.. I am so disappointed what this place had become... PLEASE watch ur children when they put tickets into the ticket counting machine, the machine DOES NOT count tickets correctly, I ask them if they could check it, they came n seen it wasn't working and then gave a few tickets which did not compare to the amount I put in, and I watched as they Asian boy with the spiky hair left the ticket machine ON after he knew that it was IN CORRECTLY counting tickets...DO NOT LET THEM RIP OFF UR CHILDREN!!! complete lack of customer service overall.. the manager stood at the counter without acknowledging me, I asked to buy a cup n he barley nodded his head, it took another few minutes to finally get a cup.. and today, which jus was the final straw for me, the Asian boy with the spiky hair, was out on the floor, I told him a couple of the skeeball machines weren't giving the balls when a token was put in, n so he said he would b over, he came over n put four balls from a different machine in my son's machine n walked away, that totally did not solve the problem of the machines not working, n I was playing at the other end of the skeeball, n noticed my machine didn't give me tickets, so I said can u help me after ur done with the current person he was helping, n he said o I already checked it, n so I said yes I kno, I jus asked u if u can come n help me with this machine, n so he didn't say anything turned around finished helping that other person, n he gave the person a decent scoop of tokens from his pockets, I was upset, why couldn't he have given my child a cpl of tokens, he did come to my machine n fix it to where it gave me my tickets, I am so disappointed, is my service not as appreciated as much as the next customer or what... go to tacoma location, do not come here to the kent chuckie cheese n subject ur children to being ripped off. .. read more

I've been going to this Chuck E Cheese facility since I moved here in WA because all the other Chuck E. Cheese facility close by are dirty, under staff, and run down. I might have to travel to the east side because this Chuck E Cheese (Kent) doesn't pay attention to the details to what we as parents and grandparents want for our kid(s) or grandkid(s). Safety and health are the most important things We look for whenever we take our kids or grandkids to places like this. Service has gotten horrible! Garbages everywhere! Under staff! Salad bar had vegetables all over! They were in the dressings! They might as well put everything in the salad bar together because that's what it looks like. I've inform 3 staffs including the manager. It took them almost an hour to finally do something about it. Looks like I have to go somewhere else to take my kid(s) or grandkid(s), even if it means driving further. read more

The two stars are for the food (not bad) and fun machines for kids. This place can be a nice place for families to enjoy and for birthday parties; however, the management is truly poor. Not enough mature/well trained employees to take care of customers' needs. This place can be very messy. Most of the time, the staff don't seem to know how to manage when the place get overcrowded on a Friday night and weekends. It's very stressful for any parents when you have 2 or more kids waiting to get all tickets counted and get prizes. It's not clear where you should stand and line up to get prizes so people can come up and get help first and you standing there still waiting for someone to realize you were there first. If you are unlucky and the staff choose to ignore you, you can wait very long like 45mins with exhausting kids nagging there by the counter to get the prizes. Might try to visit another location but I do not plan to visit this place in Kent again. read more

Ok, not the cleanest, most fabulous place, but definitely a cool place to take my son out to enjoy a good time at a low cost.

Way too expensive you spend so much trying to get tickets for your kids to get something decent and by the time you are done you've spent power bill money on a piece of candy. The female manager was so rude ! We went on a Monday and it was horrible she was very nasty and there was a table spoon of cheese on our large pizza. I probable will not ever go back not because of the food but how rude the manager was to us she needs a happy pill. read more

after watching a commercial for chuck e cheese on tv, my 2 year old wanted to go there. being that i hadn't been to chuck e cheese since i was 6, i figured, why not? so i bring the family here and enter a place of kids having chaotic fun. sure the parents were there, but seriously, the place was like lord of the flies, where all the kids ran rampant and had control. the food is mediocre and way over priced, i got a supreme pizza for $13 and chicken ciabatta for $7 and a salad bar for $7 with sodas for $1.75 each. when the food arrived, i swear the size and the quality of the pizza looked like a tombstone pizza i could get at the store for like $4. the ciabatta sandwich was actually pretty good, the salad bar was in disarray, a lot of empty slots, and even when full, it's not worth $7. the service is lacking, i believe they are understaffed and it doesn't help that you have children running wild all around the place. the parking is substantial, a huge lot. i probably won't take my family here again for food, but for games, i would let my son run free as if he were a tribal member of the flies. read more

I have 2 issues with this establishment. First off is that there is no reason why at 6pm when the place was starting to slow down and thin out crowd-wise that it takes an hour and a half for pizza and breadsticks to get out the oven when I watched other people who got there after me get their food before me. When we were there we asked one of the associates working who was tending to the area we were seated at where our food was and all she said was that it was coming but didn't check as we requested to give us an update. I just thought it was a bit ridiculous due to the fact that the food served there takes about the same time to cook a DiGiorno frozen pizza. Previously when busy it took about 20minutes to get everything out to us. Either was we didn't get an update until I saw the same woman come around and I told her that we have been waiting for our food. Before she could let me know the status she had informed me that although the 8 of us had been sitting in the same spot for over an hour while we waited on our food that we actually had to move from where we were sitting. I had explained to her that we were told we can sit here from the person upfront because it did not have a reserved seating sign on it and we verified the seating area when we spotted it at the door but you not only want to not get our food out at a decent time? She had first suggested that we sit at the other side of the restraint was but I had told her that didn't make much sense bc my niece was 3 and the side we were sitting on was appropriate for her age. Then she found one booth saying that it would fit everyone comfortably but when we walked over it was tight and cramped. So before we sat down I told her that I was upset due to the service and to seat us elsewhere with 2 tables again so we sat at the 2 corner booths near the entrance. It took another 5 minutes and then our food arrived after yet again asking her to check on it and watching her bring the same order we had to a different table that got there well after we did. Don't come here. The one we dealt with made us feel like we weren't valued customers which wasn't cool. read more
