I took my toddler to this Chuck E. Cheese's yesterday and we both loved it! My expectations were very low because I hadn't been there in nearly 15 years (when I was a child) and I remember my mom always hating it because it was "ghetto, crowded and dirty". I figured I'd feel the same way now that I am a mother (even though I loved it when I was a child!!!) but I felt the complete opposite. I thought it was extremely clean and it is so big so it never felt crowded. We went on a Tuesday @ 11am (right when it opened) and stayed until 2:30pm. I'm guessing that it probably does get a lot more crowded on the weekends/week nights. They have definitely made some changes in the last 15 years and the only change that I was sad to see was that there was only a robotic Chuck E. (his robot band is no more). The pizza was delicious too (I probably ate half of a large by myself!)! I went with a friend and we had both signed up for their E-club so we had lots of coupons for tokens and pizza so I couldn't decide whether Chuck E. Cheese's pizza is a good deal or not. It maybe seemed a little pricey even with the coupons but we got so many tokens so who knows? Definitely sign up for the E-club and take advantage of the coupons. My only complaint about the menu is that the salad bar (which is very small) is $7.99 a person. Ouch! I'd rather go to Sweet Tomatoes! My family and I have been celebrating birthdays at Chuck E. Cheese for well over 25 years. So many fun memories and always a great time. We went today to celebrate my niece's 4th birthday and brought with us an ice cream cake, which looked like a regular cake. We asked for it to be put in the freezer as it was an ice cream cake. Unfortunately, it wasn't. After singing Happy Birthday we noticed, as we were serving the cake, that it was melted. Although the cake was really good, it was also really warm. It was an honest mistake. Usually (per my cest si bon reviews) we buy custom cakes that can get pretty expensive. Had it been one of those I would have been upset. So to avoid further (possible coslty) problems in the future for myself, as well as other patrons, I decided to bring it to the manager's attention. I requested his presence from one of the employees and after a few moments out walked Andres. Andres is a very kind, attentive gentleman who listened to my concerns apologized and immediately addressed it. He took matters into his hands and made sure I remained a happy party goer. I'm happy he did as I absolutely love Chuck E. Cheese for parties and as scholar rewards for my niece's and nephew's. There is seating, tables, and games on both levels. The standard fare of food, games, and little children running amock kindly welcomes you inside. 5 stars for the CLEAN all-you-can-eat salad bar! I came here with my family ( including 2 little niece). There are new games here which are pretty fun -well the one downstairs though- It kinda suck though, since there were a few problems earlier with some of the machine.One of the worker there was really kind, since I told him that I tried inserting 2 tokens in a machine (since it didn't work the first time) and it didn't work the second time either, he told me that it was because the game was missing a few balls, so he started playing 2 games at a time and gave me 5 tokens instead of 2. :P I remember how the arcade upstairs suppose to be mainly games where you don't get tickets, but they changed most of them, so the whole place has games for kids to play and get tickets. Not growing up in San Jose, I went to a different one throughout my childhood, but I take my son to this one a few times per year and for fundraisers for my wife's school. My son just goes insane whenever we mention Chuck E. Cheese! We actually had his birthday party there last year - talk about insanity. The workers were exceptionally nice, prepared and professional. Took my daughter and nephew here yesterday, and have this place changed!!, food was disgusting, there was a bug in my salad, told the manager they replaced my plate and changed a new batched of lettuce. They just opened a few days ago. It has been over a year since I visited them. They have all of the games that other arcades have such as Dave & Busters but more. They have all of the Elaut coin pushers such as Wizard of Oz, Blackbeard Bounty, Flinestones Quarry Quest, Ticket Circus, and Willy Wonka, SpongeBob and Jelly Lab Minions. I think this is the only Chuck E Cheese in the world that has all of the coin pushers. Plus they have the card redemption machine which makes cashing in the cards and chips a lot easier. The place is extremely clean not a single piece of garbage on the ground. The staff are are extremely nice and helpful if there is a problem with the game. They are always wiping down the games after it is being used. Great arcade to go to and have fun. I wish they can get the new Angry Birds Coin Crash coin pusher by LAI Games soon. This is the Chuck E. Cheese that I, myself, grew up with. It is also the one that my nieces and baby cousins now go to. As a kid, it was a huge deal to come here. It was as exciting, almost, as going to Disneyland. I loved playing in the ball pit and the arcade games were always so fun. This place is perfect for a big kids' birthday party. You can rent a table where you get pizza and soda and have Chuck E. Cheese sing on a stage and greet you. They used to have a giant ball pit area but I think they got rid of that since it was less safe. It is more for arcade games now. Yes, it is difficult to get any cool prizes with tickets you earn but you're paying for the experience of the game more than for the prizes. I don't know if their pizza slices were random and didn't match up as seen in Shane Dawson's conspiracy video. I recall the pizza tasting ok and wasn't anything to write home about. There's plenty of parking here. This location is larger than other Chuck E. Cheese's I have seen. There is an upstairs and downstairs area. My family and I have spent YEARS going to this place. I even spent every Thursday of my four years of high school doing my homework here. Every Thursday my family would bring my younger brother and my nephew to this Chuck E. Cheese. For those four years we would bring our coupons that we cut out from the mail, order a combination pizza and pepperoni pizza. We would spend our tokens and save up our tickets. No better motivation to get your 6 homework assignments done than your three/four/five/six year old nephew waiting for you to finish your work so you can take him to play games. In those four years the staff was always very helpful and courteous. Tables were always clean, staff everywhere and always close enough to clear a table or fix a game when asked. It took me some time to come back. They really turned this place around, finally. They either got new owners who finally put some money back into the establishment. There are no more tokens. Now it's a play card. I purchased the 45 minute play. The trick here is not all games are a quarter. Big Boo, as in sucks! Not even into fifteen minutes my card was gone. I went back and told customer service that i haven't even played for 45 minutes. Keep in mind, depending on how much you put on your play card they have it pretty much calculated at the purchase area. My card had granted me access to getting 103 tickets. Upon entering the store the salad bar was a disaster. i did notice they have a whole new menu option. However, we just went to kill time to play games. Finally towards the end when you are trying to get a prize, it's crazy. One patron redeemed i believe 10000 points for air heads. They employee counted them and kinda started throwing them on the counter. After he finished that transaction, he left. During the party, there were plenty of seats for all the kids and adults. The kids place setting each had a collectible souvenir cup, blow up microphone, and plate. We were all served buffalo wings, sandwiches, pizza and pitchers of soda. Then, Chuck E Cheese came out and sang happy birthday to all the birthday kids near the Stage and Ticket Blaster. It was mayhem... ALL the kids got SUPER EXCITED as they all ran up to Chuck E Cheese!! After the singing, Chuck E Cheese walked up to our party to hold the Pull String Pinata. Then, we sang Happy Birthday to the birthday boy within the party and after that, the host passed out tokens. I'm really glad she passed them out after the kids ate, I didn't have to hunt my kids down to ask them to eat. It was a great party, my little one rode kiddy rides, my older kids played LOTS of games, they periodically came back to drink and eat cake, collect their goody bags, and eat ice cream. I always leave here with a migraine and stomach issues! Chuck E Cheese is fun for kids, but a damn headache for even the most patient adult. The food is bad, but it usually is at kids places. Kids could care less about the food- they go for the games! Eat ahead of time to avoid diarrhea. A nice thing about Chuck E Cheese is that you only need 1 token for each game. When your child is done or would like to cash in all their prize tickets, there are now ticket counting machines that you can stick your tickets in. You will receive a printed voucher when you are all done! No more waiting for an hour to have someone weigh your tickets! Once in a while, a worker will go to the mezzanine level and throw tickets to the crowd of children below. It's absolute chaos! But here's the most irky part ****the SKEE BALL area**** I find it very ghetto when these children climb onto the alley to shoot the ball into the hole. what the? I'm having flashbacks of me fuming. These same kids who are playing, take balls from the other lanes. what the? Here I am trying to restrain myself from schooling them. I'll leave this review on a happier note. This place has so many great memories for me. I don't go here anymore because it's a little far from where I stay. I used to go here a lot with my older brothers and dad when I was little kid. And do I love this place or what? I remember running my birthday parties here and always getting excited when I redeem my tickets for a prize. The restrooms and place overall is not the cleanest, so I wouldn't trust the food/pizza completely...but I go here just for the arcade and such. I really have a good time here. Out of all of the Chuck-e-cheese places that I have been to this is the best of the best. It has two stories of fun, a stage that has robotic characters, and a room that you can rent out for parties. I love bringing my nephew here it's a great place to tire out a child ;) the bottom floor for the most part is reserved for small kids and the top floor has many arcade games for teens and adults. The food is so so (pizza can sometimes be salty) and the selection isn't much but I know they are revamping the menu! One thing that I really appreciate about this place is that when you get their, your whole party gets a UV stamp with a specific number on it so if a child in your party wonders off and trys to leave or (God forbid) is taken by someone, the staff will know that their numbers don't match and won't let that child leave with someone without that same number. If you do decide to go here look online for coupons or your local shopping adds-they have great deals on pizza packages with tokens. *only thing I can think of as a downside would be that parking can be a bit hard to find on the weekends. They do have a decent sized parking lot but this place is so popular that sometimes you need to park down the street. read more

We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely nice and attentive. On the game floor they were always around and available to assist. The game selection was GREAT!!! We were all shocked at how nice it was. All the games worked and were all clean. The place in general was very clean especially for a Chuck E Cheese's. If you must go or want to try, you just need to choose your spots (day & time), I usually would go and actually look in the door then decide if to take the plunge (back before there were other play center alternatives like Bamboola, The Jungle, Golfland, etc.). My husband was raving about this Chuck E Cheese, telling me about how much fun he had here when he was a kid, so we decided to bring our 2-year-old son there. While my husband was telling me about how BIG and AWESOME this particular Chuck E Cheese was, I envisioned a big play area where my son could roam free and explore those germ infested ball pits and crawl through those dark, smelly tunnels. It was the childhood I so fondly remember! However, when we arrived, we were sad to not see any play structure at all. What a waste of space, I thought. I guess replacing that with tables and chairs for parties is the bigger money maker. Needless to say, there isn't much for toddlers to do here. I recommend staying in the "small kids" area with the kiddie rides if you have a kid younger than 5. Everywhere else is too chaotic, especially on a weekend. My son particularly enjoyed jumping on and off the moving carousel... he could have been wrecking havoc on a nice, big play structure, but had to resort to giving us heart attacks on the carousel. This place is my favorite place to go to. There are a whole bunch of fun games that you can play and earn tickets. My favorite thing to do is to get to redeem prizes. I hope this location will be open for games and dine-in soon. I can't wait when this place is open again. read more
