My kids love this place...They raised the price on tokens but i go there for my kids.The pizza is ok & my kids like the games

This place is such a mess ! Im so glad I don't have small children anymore .People don't watch there kids the ticket counting machines were broken , at least a quarter of the games were out of service ,the line to redeem your tickets was out of control not well organized. i hate leaving negative reviews, but after coming here about once a month for the past year with my daughter, i thought it was time. the stockton chuck e cheese is so bad compared to the others, such as elk grove and sacramento. its often dirty, half of the games are usually broken, pizza not very good, prizes not very good. etc. its also a lot smaller with less variety. chuck e cheese rarely comes out when they say..often see groups of kids waiting when his song comes on, but he never comes. staff doesnt seem to like working there. overall, very small children will still have fun running around, and since there is not a lot to do with young kids in stockton, they will still get business, just wish they would try a little harder. i highly reccomend going to the elk grove one instead read more

First time coming here and I can say with confidence that I will NEVER patronize this establishment again. Anita Mercadi (the general manager) needs more training when it comes to dealing with the general public. She assumed my boyfriend was intoxicated after half a beer because it was knocked over by a ball while playing the MLB game. With that logic, does a child get cut off of soda for spilling? Bottom line, your company is geared towards children so i would think that "accidents happen" would come to mind and it makes us regret even trying to do the right thing by making them aware. She was also aggressive when my girlfriend went up to get her second beer. There's just better ways of dealing with customers and unfortunately this women doesn't have it. We're all in our 30's with good jobs so why she feels the need to regulate on paying customers in such a condescending manner is beyond me. Took the kids today for lunch did not expect it to be so busy but it was steady... I went online got the coupon not a bad deal .. lg pizza with 4 soda's and 80 tokens $29. Was a little disappointed when we were let in threw the gate we had to wait it seemed the lady who was letting us in was also taking orders so she had to keep running back and forth so it took a while to get served.. We got our pizza quick it was just ok.. nothing great. So the kids had to get there "gold" (prizes) we waited and waited it seemed our same lady running the gate and the order station was also the one doing the prizes and yes I have those annoying kids who take forever to choose so she was annoyed because she had two other jobs going on... Overall if they would of had more people working it would of maybe been a 4 star, the kids had a great time and where else can you play a game for only 1 token! read more

This is the smallest Chuck E Cheese I've ever seen. Limited selection of games and the pizza isn't that great. I had my son's 3rd bday at this location but would never again. I would leave negative stars if I could! What has become of this chuck e cheese??? So much has changed, and for the worse!!!! Left Stockton almost 3 years ago, came back to visit and decided to take my daughter here. Most of the games she wanted to play either had no balls, or was not working. Some were malfunctioning and didn't play right. It's dirty, some games (like the frogger game) had a missing frog! It was the main piece to the game! HORRIBLE this place. It was much better before. Will not return and don't recommend anybody returning to this location. Their games are not all one token as they say. Some games are 15 play points, and 10 play points = 1 token. My Daughter only 3 and she love's this place and i love it too just because every game is 1 whole token! It's worth taking her here because 20 token pretty much let her play 20 games and that's only $5 More saving for me. Cheap and fun for the kids. Food's sucks price are ridiculous. It's like having a $5.99 little cesar pizza but then your paying $24.99 I suggest using COUPONS if you do go and eat. Coupons are online just sign up it's free. Plus A++ free admission. We came in on the October 3rd 2017 around 7 p.m. The reason why I am giving this place a 3 star is This place was under staffed. One person at the entrance, one at the games, and one at the register taking every guests order. It wasn't too busy, but Two large pizza took an hour to be ready. I went back to order drinks, I waited in line for about twenty minutes because someone was having issues with their points card, got to the register at my turn and the staff just left me. I used to love taking my kids here because honestly is affordable and the pizza is good. But in the recent visits, I've been outraged by going here. The place is always packed with ghetto ignorant people, rude-ass children, and annoying-ass parents who don't watch their kids. I took my three year old godson a few months ago, and another kid tried to steal his tickets right in front of me. I don't even want to mention what I wanted to do at the time. I've witnessed grown kids, 8-10 years old steal coins from other children, steal tickets, and even cheat at the ticket machine by putting in and pulling out the same ticket over and over again. It's absurd that parents let their children get away with all of this behavior; stealing and cheating. Until I hear better, I refuse to bring my children back here. read more

With the lack of indoor places to keep little ones busy (two toddlers), I am very pleased with this Chuck E Cheese. We came early, around 10:30 or 11AM before it got very busy. Use a coupon from your weekly mailer and get 1 large pizza, two drinks and 50 tokens for $20. For our family this deal is perfect, since it's my husband.. me.. a 1 yo and a 2 yo. We usually still have a bunch of tokens left over after each visit! We usually play a couple skee ball games, and the baby likes the little rides. Normally I would avoid this place at any cost. Last night I went only because I was invited to a bday party. when we first arrived it wasn't crowded like it usually was, but it only took about 30 mins before the place was bursting at the seams with kids. I think this place has a great concept as a good place for kids to have fun but it definitely can use some big improvements. Let me list the pros I noticed with my visit last night: -The new thin crust is actually pretty good. A little greasy, but what pizza isn't? That's it for the pros, now the cons: - The service is horrible! I understand that no one grows up hoping to land their dream job working at Chuck E Cheese, but your being paid to do a job. If you don't like it, don't take it out on customers, find another job! - The place is filthy. Tables and floors are sticky, food and drinks are spilled everywhere, and can you only imagine what's on the games your kids are playing with?? - Why does this place serve beer only to put a 1 beer per hour and 2 beer max limit? Alcohol is served at restaurants due to it's high profit margins. I get that it's a kids place and you don't want any drunk parents running around, but what's the reason beer is even being served? - After all the cons I listed with this place, it's expensive!! They really capitalize on the fact that once parents are here with their kids, it's hard to tell them no. The machines don't give out many tickets, the family meals are really expensive, and if you buy a family deal the play credits will run out before you know it meaning you'll have to buy more. I paid over $8.00 for a pretty crappy salad bar just as an example. Its a 3 only because my children like the games and there is nothing else in stockton for young kids to do. I think they should get people in with customer service experience. You're better off getting quality food and more bang for your buck at John's Incredible than coming here. The food takes very long to arrive, the salad buffet is very messy, the ticket payout is fraudulently cheap, and the toy prizes are expensive. Call me cheap but I think it's unfair to get an average payout of 2 to 4tickets per .25 cent tokens. It was my daughter's 6 th birthday and she wanted to go here . All she wanted to do was ride the flying tickets ride. They would not allow her stating it was only for those who had reserved a party. This place is terrible. Whenever I go it is super crowded with over flowing garbages. The most recent time I went, someone ran out one of the emergency exits and the alarm went off for at least 5 minutes. What if the person ran out with a child?!?! The games are by points now and they give hardly any tickets so the chance your child can get a half decent prize at the end is slim to nothing. Women's restroom was dirty. Smelt like urine. I was just in Friday March 29 2019 for my nephews 3rd Birthday party. I wanted to do something nice for the little kids that we had invited and bought them the upgrade Birthday cups. Only for the employee there throw away at least 5 of the kids cups. That I had bought for them to take home. They should've let us know that they were going to throw them away. It is my first time here and all I can say is that the serive is horrible. We waited 30 minutes for our food and maybe longer if I did not ask them why it was taking so long. I did not get an apology only that since there was a bday party there that our order was delay coming from the manager. I would give this one and a half stars for the fun factor for kids. My son played for 3 hours straight and was thrilled. However, we booked a birthday party for my sister here and our hostess was HORRIBLE. Stephanie did not pass out hand sanitizer, she dropped my sisters cupcake on the table and then tried to give it to her even though we had 2 more dozen cupcakes to offer, she disappeared constantly when she was supposed to be helping serve the kids. When our time was up at the tables she told us we had to move but didn't bother to help us move anything. She told two guests of our party that they had to pay for their own cups because our party had officially ended 5 minutes prior. The service was the worst I have seen. read more

From other Chuck E. Cheese's I've been to I've expected this place to not be so great already. The staff who greeted us, checked us in to get our tokens, and later on helped us get our prizes were really friendly and sweet. They have an armed security guard at the front door too. We showed them a coupon we had for tokens and they didn't hesitate to give us the deal. The place seemed dirty, carpet was all grungy, play area and some arcade games all sticky and several tables with leftover trash on them. Regardless, my nephews were having a great time playing with the games and didn't pay any mind to those details. It was unfortunate that several of the games weren't functioning correctly and others were out of order and we couldn't play with. For the amount of tickets you get from each game, I don't think the small prizes are worth it. Many of the prizes seem like something you get from the dollar store or even cheaper. Overall, I don't think the kids pay attention to all those details and they end up having fun running around the arcade with flashing lights and noise. read more

We were there yesterday for my son's birthday and we're glad that we did. This place is not like the ones in the bay area. This one is clean and the staff were very helpful. We brought an ice cream cake that we bought from Baskin Robbins and they even kept it in the freezer for us until we're ready for it. They even put candles and lighted it up for us when they brought it to us, then sliced it for us. It was an awesome experience and will most definitely come back here again. read more

This place is not worth taking your kids. There's not a variety of different games to play. Most are very similar. The employees there are constantly complaining of their job to each other, in front of everyone. I really think that the games & rides should be disinfected a few times a day. Most games were sticky or greasy. Chuck.E never made it out once they played the announcement song. I saw a lot of kids looking the way he would walk out, only to be disappointed. My family went on a Thursday around 2pm. When business is slow and the place is pretty empty. There was a lot of filthy tables with trash on top. Did not see one employee cleaning. This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating! I have been to many Chuck E Cheese's with my kids and this was the worst I have ever been too. The staff are complete idiots. On a Saturday night they had one cashier who couldn't work the register, the manager looked to be around 18 years old and was rude. Waited over 40mins in line to order. The food came out cold and took 30mins. We had a hard time finding a table because they don't clean them fast enough. There were 15 broken games! Such a waste! There is no excuse for that many broken games on a Saturday night! The place was over crowded and the staff didn't regulate the games so one adult over 40 mind you, played a game for an hour straight while kids waited in line behind her. Chuck e Cheese on Pacific has now switched to swipe cards instead of using tokens. Previously each game was 1 token. Now they load points onto the cards. 10 points = 1 token. The catch is several games cost 15 points to play. Also, many children swipe their cards multiple times before realizing the game is ready to start. Each swipe deducts points, however, the game only shows 1 credit. The swipe card concept with points is abstract to young children. The tokens were physical objects that they could hold in their hands and see exactly how many. My children, who previously loved Chuck e Cheese, declared it wasn't fun anymore. They asked me to look up other Chuck E Cheese's that still operate on tokens. I'm sad to say that this last visit at the Pacific CEC is exactly that, our LAST. read more
