What a huge difference their upgrades have made! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We decided to try this place again as we had our pup with us and we wanted to sit outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their menu has changed and is so much better! We started with deviled eggs which were amazing. I highly recommend the espresso martini as well! We both had steaks and were very happy on how well they were cooked. I had mine with salad and was very happy. We will definitely be back again!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great vibes, really casual, and nice servers![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To escape the heat and address our hunger, we sought refuge here. The chips and guacamole were bangin' because of the blue corn chips. The vehicle for the guacamole is very important. Cobb salad: all of the toppings were great, the iceberg seemed a bit flat. I would give it 3/5. I also did not have dressing bc I'm not a fan of salad dressing. I feel like if I did have dressing, it likely would've made the lettuce a bit soggy.

Best Mahi Mahi Tacos I have had in a long time. Mac was tops too. Great street-side tables to people watch from. Service is timely and friendly.

Family brought me a Guinness fish and chips and it stayed crispy by the time they made it home. Beer batter was excellent fish was good fries were a great flavor and not soggy either. Will go back for a sit down meal.

As a self-proclaimed veggie enthusiast in a meat-centric world, finding a restaurant that caters to my dietary needs can be a challenge. But fear not, fellow herbivores, because Chuck Lager's America's Tavern came through like a veggie superhero in the night! Sure, their menu may not scream "vegan paradise," and the veggie options may be as rare as a unicorn sighting, but when I explained my strict dietary needs, they didn't just nod and shrug--garlic.they rose to the occasion with a veggie-filled pasta dish that left me speechless (well, almost, because I couldn't stop raving about it). Picture this: a medley of vibrant broccolini, shrooms, asparagus, tomatoes, brussels, and perfectly cooked cavatappi, all tossed in a heavenly blend of EVOO and garlic. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, a testament to Chuck Lager's culinary prowess and dedication to customer satisfaction. But wait, the goodness doesn't stop there! Let's talk about their patio - oh, sweet patio heaven! Nestled in the heart of Wesley Chapel, Chuck Lager's patio is the stuff of dreams. Picture-perfect ambiance, cozy seating, and a vibe that screams "come, stay awhile." So, if you're in the mood for mouthwatering pasta, a patio oasis, and an all-around good time, Chuck Lager's is your go-to spot. Trust me, your taste buds (and your Instagram feed) will thank you!

Deviled eggs (comes with five)

Chose to eat here since I was feeling indecisive and their menu offers a good variety of options. Plenty of seating available and we were seated right away. Ended up going with the deviled eggs and bacon jam sliders, both of which I enjoyed. My friend went with the buffalo chicken sliders and he was satisfied with those well, although he came hungry so his main regret was not ordering more. Plenty of cocktail and beer options, and they like to branch out a little from your typical mixes (they have an espresso martini made with bourbon, I'll try that next time I come). Overall, it's another solid spot in the area

We have been to this restaurant before and it is always very good food! We went for my birthday yesterday early afternoon. It was not as crowded as the other times we we there. Our waitress, Olivia was very attentive and very nice. Lots of tv's and different drinks. Pleasant atmosphere. The food was very very good. I had the chicken and the flavor was great and the chicken was moist not dry at all. The sautéed spinach and potatoes also very good. One of the best sit down meals we had out lately. A little pricey but portions are large! Check it out and you won't be disappointed!

I selected this restaurant while staying nearby. I went specifically for the the Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese. It had American cheese and house-smoked brisket. It came with a cup of tomato bisque on the side. I also had a glass of Heavy Lifter Scotch Ale. I was disappointed; the sandwich including the cheese was dry and the soup was barely warm. The server was pleasant and attentive.

Meet friends to try chuck lager and was greeted by friendly staff. This rating is solely for staff. The bar tender was prompt and allowed me to order a happy hour drink 2 minutes before happy hour ended. The host knew I had made a reservation but the rest of the party was running late yet still honored us seating options. Very nice. Now to the food. It was very average and underwhelming. Nothing special to make us want to come back and eat. Amber was super nice and accommodating. I would recommend coming for happy hour and sitting outside. Nice patio area.

Our food was incredibly salty. From the soup to the sandwich. Just too much salt. Service was awesome!

The burger was well done and I had ordered medium rare. I sent it back and the second burger was also well done. I ate it but never again.

Ask the Community - Chuck Lager America's Tavern

Is there a gluten sensitive menu or items here that would be considered gluten free friendly?

This is a great place for folks to ask for substitutions or adaptations to stay gluten-free. They will do their burgers with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. I haven't done it, but I believe they'll do their pasta dishes with veggies instead of…

Do they have happy hour menu for food as well as drinks?

They do have a happy hour menu with several of their small plates on the regular menu for a discount. It's a great way to sample the appetizer portion of the regular menu.

The food options on Happy Hour menu were very good, particularly the Quesadilla and Prime Rib sliders. My wife loved the arancini balls as well and shrimp tempura was solid. From a drinks perspective my wife tried the sangria flight and it was a great option with 4 different types of sangria with more hits than misses. Happy Hour overall was a great option but wish it went until 6 (ends at 5:30, which is a bit early). We will definitely be back.

Service was acceptable though, not great. Lady kept forgetting things for us. My friend wanted so coffee with non dairy milk and waitress didn't even know if they offer it, she had to go ask and said they do not. When we asked for tiramisu , she said we are likely out because we were out yesterday. But then she went to check and they indeed had it. How come she doesn't know what is on a menu. I had a grouper sandwich that was pretty good and side salad was pretty good. I asked for olive oil and vinegar and waitress again said she doesn't know if that possible. Which is the weirdest response. I didn't ask for anything unique. She then said they will do it and proceeded to bring me something different. Ambience is very nice and upscale, definitely one of the best places on the Wesley Chapel. Unfortunately the service wasn't great and I think it's time to offer non dairy options.

The flavors were okay just did not really match their names. The bbq definitely did not taste bbqy though. The meat was a major let down as it was very fatty and I had a bite of gristle on the first one. Not good. The salad was good, loved the crunchy things they put on it and the ranch was really good too. The alcoholic beverage was not great. It was super sweet and did not have much kick. The kids meals looked good, we got one for 99 cents but apparently wings do not count as an adult meal so we paid in full for the other (it was not super pricey, which is good). However, this place is just okay... There are many other great locations around that sadly blow this place out of the water.

The staff, and especially our server Dani B were wonderful and very accommodating. We ordered appetizers off of the new menu to start with and a few cocktails. The pimento croquettes with bacon jam. were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. We also ordered the focaccia bread with black garlic whipped ricotta. It was a crowdpleaser for sure. Everybody loved it. Our only slight complaint/suggestion was the portion size of the pimento croquettes. We had a party of five at the table, and the appetizer was only four croquettes. Would have been nice if everybody could have one without having to split them for everybody at the table to have one. It would be nice at the time of ordering appetizers for them to let us know how many came on the plate maybe even offer a slight up charge to add a fifth one or sixth one depending on the size of the party at the table. But that was the only minor disappointment. They were still one of the best appetizers we've had in a while! Everybody decided on the burgers for their meal. A couple ordered the Boujie burger, and the others the lampshade Smashburger with bacon. Hands down one of the best burgers we've had in a while top-notch absolutely delicious. And everybody almost loved the fries just as much. They are fantastic the perfect combination. If you are in the area or looking for a absolutely delicious meal, you won't be disappointed with the living room as your choice. We will definitely be back to explore the rest of the new menu.
