Traditional American food, but taken up a notch. Probably some of the best spinach dip you'll have in a long time. Yummy burger sliders. The truffle fries are so good even cold out of the fridge the next day. Served with an absolutely addictive truffle garlic ranch that I've been thinking about for days. Ended up going with the deviled eggs and bacon jam sliders, both of which I enjoyed. My friend went with the buffalo chicken sliders and he was satisfied with those well, although he came hungry so his main regret was not ordering more. Plenty of cocktail and beer options, and they like to branch out a little from your typical mixes (they have an espresso martini made with bourbon, I'll try that next time I come). The fish tacos were amazing! You get three and my husband was like, "I can't eat all of these" , but somehow he did! I had the margarita flatbread which was delicious as well. Used this location as a half way point to meet our cousin that lives in Ocala. The place was very accommodating and quiet. The server Dillon was impeccable. Ambience - it's a standard American restaurant , very spacious inside , not too bright so it's the perfect lighting for a good time. I'm usually a huge enthusiast for restaurants and I look for the good atmosphere and aesthetic pictures, I'm a sucker for it actually. Hence the photo of my drink below: Believe it or not, it was a decent drink. Only $12, looked pretty enough (minus the rotten basil). But after I started drinking more I realized that the cup looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. There were clear, visible red lip stick marks, and smudge all in the inside of the glass. I would have said something, but after we got seated outside we never seen another waitress/waiter. During my wait for the server to remember we were there, I noticed how dirty everything else was. The menus had spaghetti stains, the tables weren't wiped, everything was just clearly unkept. At that point, I lost my appetite. Why would I want to eat off of your plates when you don't even wipe your cups or menus? So instead of begging to spend money at a dirty restaurant, we left our bar tab and a $5 tip, left, and went across the street to the grocery store. I'll be fair and leave 2 stars, because the bartender was nice and the drink was pretty. But 0/10 for cleanliness and 0/10 for customer service. read more

This restaurant sits in the old Prime Bar location and I must say that I really miss the previous establishment after visiting Chuck Lager. They do have a nice outdoor bar area and the happy hour specials are decent. I just feel like there is more that could be done to make customers flock here. Better specials and more exciting menu items to start. Maybe a $5-$7-$9 happy hour menu and more consistent menu prices. Burgers, flatbreads and entrees are pretty pricey. Service was all over the place as it seemed the outside bartender spent a lot of time inside as well. Not sure why since there is a bar staff inside. But our bartender was really nice and I totally understand that she may have been overwhelmed for whatever reason. If you're going to visit, I would say get the brisket grilled cheese. It was really tasty and came with some very delicious tomato bisque. If I go back, I will probably try a burger. Just not blown away on this particular visit. read more

I enjoyed mine. Our server was fantastic. She had drink refills at our table before we could finish what we had. I noted a spill on the floor near a table next to us. There was no effort to clean it up. A party of 4 refused to sit there because of it. Finally, the restaurant adds 3% to your bill if you use a credit card. I find that to be outrageous. That petty nickel and dimming needs to stop. I won't likely return to this place. The lack of attention to detail is obvious. read more

It was fairly crowded, but we still got set right away, but when it came to the food, they were out of a lot of things, so I ended up getting a bowl, but it had very little flavor. I actually ended up bringing it home to spice up with a little lime and extra fresh ingredients to really bring out the taste. The burgers were big, but also we're not amazing. The customer service was OK, but not a lot of smiles and that really is the first impression. We really enjoyed this place. I seen on yelp they do brunch earlier in the day. But We went at 9:30pm. They stay open until 11pm on Saturday's which was great for us. Our server Spencer was awesome from start to finish. He suggested a few things when we asked and he didn't miss a beat. Service was great! The tacos were good, full of meat and topped with pickled onions. I would have liked some lettuce or cabbage slaw, but they were still good. The Asian shrimp Street tacos were ordered by another person in our party, and I was told they were also very good. I am also a fan of chicken marsala, which was ordered by someone else in our party, and they really enjoyed it. The birthday girl received a free dessert, and another dessert was ordered, the ice cream sandwich made with a donut and vanilla bean ice cream and bourbon custard. I didn't take the opportunity to try myself, but it looked really good and I was told it was delicious.
