    Home made breakfast

Home feel, hole in a wall kinda place. Service feel like you are family, and food is homy feel kinda place, where breakfast is made deliciously.

Nice interior, good service, ok food. Our family visited Chuck Wagon for breakfast in April 2025, drawn in by its good reviews. The interior has an authentic charm, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that transports diners to a rustic setting. However, the food unfortunately lacked depth in flavor and failed to impress. The omelets, cooked in a very thin layer, were over-fried, resulting in a dry texture rather than the fluffy richness. On a brighter note, the home fries were well-prepared, the waffle had a pleasant crisp, and the hot chocolate was satisfying. The service was ok, nothing special. Overall, Chuck Wagon offers a great setting and a cozy dining experience, but if flavor and execution are a priority, it may not be the best choice. Food ordered Nova Omelette - one with grits, one with home fries Veggie Omelette - one with grits, one Chili Omelette with home fries Waffle with Strawberries Cappuccino Hot Chocolate

I came here today at 1:30 pm and it basically empty, the server was very attentive and on top of everything! The service was fast, polite and speedy. I ordered the Eggs Benedicts with home fries and decided to add in cheese and onions. The result was delicious, I overall had an excellent experience. The only thing that was a little bit off-putting is that I noticed that their Cappuccino was $5. Why is the coffee so expensive here? I will still come back for the delicious food!

This place been here for as far as I can remember, the food has always been good ? . Today was a mess my wife ordered the California omelette with avocados, it came with grits and wedges of avocado . The grits were like grits from a bag not the real thing they looked like sticky pale rice . Also the avocados were cold from out of a refrigerator, and the you could tell the edges were cut off they tasted like really watery. At least Her omelette was good . I got the western omelette was a bit over cooked and the home fries were extremely dried I could not finish them . The coffee was great as well as our server . I know it's mid week but this place has always been a hot spot but today it was practically empty..

Always surprised as to how good and fresh the food is. Service is really good as well. The best American coffee and biscuits ever. I rather come here than any other breakfast fast food place. The cinnamon rolls are homemade and to die. Not to mention the bathrooms are super clean. You can't find a lot of places like this.

Great cowboy setting old fashion restaurant. Seated promptly for a late breakfast. Our waiter was fantastic. The natural orange juice made right there in front of us wow awesome. All the food was yummy and the biscuits yummy. My daughter loved the chocolate chip pancake. I definitely recommend.

Party of 2 and ordered 2 eggs with house fries, and sausage patties and a ham and American cheese omelette with hash browns and a starter of bacon cheese fries. We had water and orange juice to drink as well. A good spot for a simple American breakfast and with quick and efficient service. Our server Kiana was very nice and informative of the menu. The inside of the business was very traditional and had an older look to it which I liked very much.

Always try to go to Chuck Wagon Restaurant when I visit my sister in Florida. Enjoy the food and friendly service. The old western decor is a nice change from the present day modern restaurants. Looks to go here again. Got the Steak, eggs and grits and my sister got the omelette with grits with freshly squeezed OJ. And don't forget the biscuits and gravy. Reminds me of when I lived in Mississippi. You come back now y'all.

    Turkey club

This place is a Miami staple and has been around as long as I can remember. The turkey club was a good light lunch loaded with turkey. Service was good. The place looks a little run down and a bit grimey. I think it could benefit from a good scrub down. Seems like a good spot where locals and regular come to. I would come back.

Very homely country atmosphere with ok coffee and very good eggs and smoked salmon and sausage. Classic Americana. Decent service and sit down vibe.

Breakfast combo: eggs, sausage patties, home fries, biscuits and gravy with coffee.

For what this is (nostalgic, greasy, warm delicious comfort food), it's great. Everything was seasoned and cooked well. Tasty breakfast and friendly service.

5 stars if you are looking for a "stick to your ribs" down to earth, hearty "American diner" restaurant. It is the quintessential diner with no frills. Just really good food. Go here hungry and bring your best friends because there is no pretentious staff or ambience- just a great place for yummy food and good conversation. My daughter and I love breakfast food and this was exactly what we were looking for after moving here from Texas two years ago . The biscuits and gravy were the best I've ever had. (It's priced high - guessing d/t it's Miami- but other than that- we loved it and will be back.

On our first visit, we ordered the breakfast sandwich, the Banana Walnut Pancake, and two iced lattes (one with 2% milk and one with oat milk). Everything was outstanding. The breakfast sandwich was packed with flavor, the latte was perfectly balanced, and the Banana Walnut Pancake was on another level. The combination of caramelized banana, toasted walnuts, and their smoked maple syrup was absolutely RIDICULOUS. We loved it so much that we came back just two days later. This time, we shared the breakfast sandwich because we needed to save room for more pancakes. We ordered the Lemon Curd & Blueberry Pancake and the Brunch Still Hungover Pancake (their espresso-inspired pancake), and somehow they were even better than we expected. The Lemon Curd & Blueberry was bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced, while the Brunch Still Hungover was one of the most unique pancakes I've ever had rich coffee flavor without being overly sweet. That's the magic there for me, you might look at these pancakes and assume it's "too much" or might be overwhelming but the flavors are so perfectly balanced, it's a darn masterpiece. What really made the experience special, though, was the owner. He took the time to chat with us, explain the inspiration behind some of the menu items. You can tell this isn't just a restaurant to him, it's something he's genuinely passionate about. That passion comes through in every plate that leaves the kitchen. The staff was warm, welcoming, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. In a city where brunch spots come and go, Jealous Fork feels like the kind of place that earns regulars. At this point, our goal is simple: keep coming back until we've tried the entire menu. As I'm writing this in deciding to go back to try the burgers..BRB

Looked on yelp for a nearby place to get Ramen and saw wonderful reviews for KOW. And so I ventured over. Looking unassuming from the outside in a strip mall, this is a really nice place for a quiet and wonderful meal. I was struck how it was not just Ramen, but a variety of different cuisines on one menu. I really wanted to try them all, but stuck with Ramen as that is what I was looking for on that particular evening. It did not disappoint. People have described it as the best Ramen in the area and I will not argue that point. I will, however, say that the portion was on a small side and I was still hungry afterwards. This is the only reason for the missing star. The flavor was excellent. The protein and added dumplings were all perfect. The broth was delicious. The servive was outstanding. The ambience was comfortable and truly enjoyable to have a nice conversation with my dining companion. I found the menu a bit overwhelming, but I will go back to try some of the other things as I looked around the table and people are eating a variety of different foods and by foods I mean food types as the offerings are so diverse. Prices are a bit on the high side, but my first impression is that the value is there to command those prices because the food is superb. Potentially a five star restaurant...stay tuned.

It took a bit for our waiter to stroll back around to take our order, and for a Sunday morning brunch, I wouldn't have considered this place a "packed" house. When the time came around, I was first to place my order, I wanted something different so I ordered Shakshuka. Of course; I did my quick research of the dish before getting to the restaurant! Shakshuka is suppose to be a one-skillet egg dish, the eggs are basted in this rich, thick red pepper, tomato, onions, and garlic sauce, topped with satueed peppers. I also ordered a French toast and chai latte! Fast forward to when everyone dishes were dropped off, even though I was first to order my dish did not arrive. I waited around for 10-15 minutes, my whole family was pretty much done with their meals. I had to call over our waitress to advise my order was never dropped at the table. After letting her know, my dish was expedited to the table in less than 5 minutes. Could they have been a rush to send out the dish? Possibly. Because that was the worst dish ever and nothing like described. The peppers were not sautéed (or little to nothing) and were just sliced, plated for decor. The tomato/red pepper based sauce seemed like it was just canned tomato sauce, very liquid-y. Simply was not fond of this dish. The french toast were more like hard french toast sticks, I would've liked it to be on the fluffier end, but they were hard/toasted. Nothing that blew my mind. As far as my chai latte, it was divine! The perfect warm hug. The chai to steamed milk ratio was on point, and topped cinnamon. My mom ordered their $42 Entrecöte Frites; man, did that sound delicious. As a true steak connoisseur, she loves a bleeding rare steak! So that was the temperature she ordered, rare. I was excited to snag a bite or two from her plate to be the judge it for myself. The plate dropped the first time, she cut right in the middle of it to see the finishing temperature... it was wrong. Sent it right back. The second time it hit the table, the temperature was correct. A bright red center and a seared exterior, just what she was looking for. However, it was so salty, you just could not get past all the salt, nothing to enjoy. Not edible, unless you wanted clogged arteries right then and there! My wife ordered a caprese sandwich. Yes, I also took a bite of that while waiting my for my order(lol). The baguette bread was airy, delicious, and soft. The mozzarella was fresh and the tomatoes were nice and ripe. I also tried their croissants, almond and chocolate croissant, pistachio croissant, and Nutella croissant. They were buttery, flaky, and all the fillings complimented it well. My conclusion to La Boulangerie is you have to be selective about what you order from here. Maybe they had an off day and we were the unlucky ones, but the more complicated meals turned out to taste the worst. However, you can definitely enjoy light bites here... you can't go wrong with a baguette sandwich, coffee, or a pastry. I think baking and light fare is where their true expertise lies.
