We have a mechanic elsewhere but he is a one man show and with both of our jobs requiring daily driving (not just too and from an office), we need working cars so when one breaks down we need it up and running ASAP. If I could leave 0 stars I would. My husband's car was towed here for an issue with the car dying when idling with the AC on. They advertise loaner cars but "did not have one available". So we spent over $200 for a week of rental. They concluded the vehicle needed a $2200 high pressure fuel pump. Paid and picked up. The following Thursday, the car died in the exact same way. Had it towed back to Chucks. end of day Friday they couldn't quite figure out what needed to be fixed. Thought it was 3 cooling fans and estimated at least $1200 to fix. So we had it towed to the honda dealer in woodstock. The next Thursday, someone from Chucks called my husband and said they wanted to fix the fans for him.....after his car had been at the dealer for 5 days. So obviously the repairs were already being worked. on. Chucks is priced higher than the dealer, advertises loaner cars but doesn't have one available, even for longer repairs, misdiagnosed and didn't even fix the problem. Car died in the same way the following week. Would not refund us any of the cost of labor, diagnostic fee, etc of the misdiagnosed repair. Will not return. read more

*** EXCEPTIONALLY HONEST CUSTOMER SERVICE*** After researching shops in Canton, I found that Chuck's offered the best service quote for an oil change and brake pad replacement on my 2019 Silverado. They also scheduled me for the first appointment for the next morning. For reference, nearby shops quoted oil changes for my truck ranging from $120 to $165. Chuck's completed the service for just over $80, using full-synthetic oil. The management was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and helpful as I explained the issue with my brakes. They even provided a courtesy shuttle to take me home. After inspecting and testing the brake components, they determined that no issues were found. I genuinely believe other shops might have completed unnecessary repairs anyway. I am extremely happy with Chuck's and highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be a returning customer. read more

Called in to get a quote on a diagnostics fee and see when they had availability. The gentleman that answered was not friendly from the start. He seemed to have a "could care less" attitude. When I explained I had taken it to Aamco and they recommended I get an electrical diagnosis. When I explained that as well what was going on I got hit with 3 different diagnosis fees ranging from about $150-$185 each and the gentleman told me that was just to start. $400-$500 diagnosis fee just to start, I've never heard of that in my life. Then he started saying about a $185 transmission diagnosis instead of asking me any questions about my vehicle or anything that had been done. I had my transition rebuilt last year and had he just asked me I would've told him. Overall just a very rude poor experience. And as a new customer definitely wouldn't be coming here or recommending to others. read more

I am so glad I found this place! 5 star service from the moment I walked in. I was greeted and they got started on my oil change earlier than my appointment time. The young lady at the front desk was super pleasant and friendly. The waiting room was cozy and had a table with bar stools that I was able to complete my work from. The variety of coffee pods and cold drinks was a plus. A gentleman came to the front to hand me my keys at the end and was friendly as well. I asked him if everything looked ok and he said yes. Honest & Fair, two words I am using to describe Chuck's Auto Repair. The heater system in our Dodge went out as fall rolled in, only thing we could do was find a mechanic that would be " honest" about what we needed and not sell us parts we didn't. "Fair" on the price so we were not over charged. They did it!!! We had our heater core replaced and as promised we can cook an egg on the dash. Just a side note. Georgia is a hands free state I can no longer keep my phone on in front of the vent while the heat is on. You did such a great job it even over heated my phone. Great hometown friendly service ! While traveling through Canton my brake light went out. I stopped and purchased a bulb at an Auto Part store intending to replace it myself. Ran into a problem with removing the old bulb and decided just to stop into the shop and see if they could help. I was cordially greeted and accompanied to my car where the bulb was quickly changed out - no charge and would not accept a tip. Thank you so much for getting my Mom and I safely back on the road. Just went to this repair shop for a new battery and asked to get something looked at while there. I walked in, no greet from the 2 blonde girls at the front desk. They did not ask if they could help me so I informed them I was there for a battery replacement, which I called ahead for. They seemed bothered to accommodate me. When I was waiting for me, one of them shouted at me a question! Super unprofessional! Then when my service was complete, they did not go over their services or I had to ask for one because I like to know/see what I'm paying for before paying for something.
