How Microeconomics truly do affect a business and why it's important. This is what microeconomic is: Microeconomics is the social science that studies the implications of incentives and decisions and how they affect the utilization and distribution of resources on an individual level. Microeconomics shows how and why different goods have different values. It addresses how individuals and businesses conduct and benefit from efficient production and exchange and how individuals can best coordinate and cooperate with each other. I am posting this so you understand that ALL I WANTED was a simple oil change on my vehicle. I did not need or request any other service on my vehicle. As mechanics you should respect that request and allow me to remain as a loyal customer. Instead, you treated me like a one and done customer who should and will go else where with my business. It's not just my personal vehicle that is leaving, it's also my husband's work van. The one that uses the corporate card. He too asked for an oil change, to have the wipers changed and the breaks looked at. Since we did not get my tires rotated it purchase new tires you did the bare minimal on my husbands work van. Your loss! It's 2025, and you would think mechanics would want to build a roster of regular clients that would utilize their business. Franchises rely on regular customers to keep their mechanics working throughout the year. We utilized your business for over three years . Sadly, consumers are still in search of honest, reliable mechanics to do right by them. We certainly are currently looking for new mechanics that are true business people. The basis of microeconomics to the building of businesses and customers. See the idea behind it is "trust", money, the exchange of goods. When the first part of this "never" happens it hinders the rest of the business. The value of your labor and employees reputations are seen as faulty business practices . The reviews that get posted here may not hinder your business what so ever. ( or so you think) Or you won't give these words a second thought, someone might. All it takes is a few customers that have been wronged to read this and then let others know. Don't bother responding, we won't call the customer service number. Will never come back to this place of business. Their business practices are questionable at best and dare I say they take advantage of women. Unfortunately, the effects of their shoddy work are just catching up to us and my husband is livid we have them business multiple times. First, let me start by saying that the oil change and tire rotation I made an appointment for took 3 hours. They refused to rotate our tires because the tread was too low. It wasn't a big deal but the free tire rotation was part reason for us choosing Goodyear. Instead, they quoted me overpriced tires. I declined and ended up getting a new set from Mavis a week later. Even without the tire rotation, I paid for full synthetic oil change plus an additional 3 quarts. The extra 3 quarts cost an additional $30 which was about the cost of the promotion they had running. Except my husband doesn't think they actually gave us the 3 quarts. He thinks this because It's been less than 2.5 months and all of a sudden the truck tells me my oil is low. So my husband checks the oil and it's low. He goes to buy MORE oil and says the truck is taking over 3 quarts. Our truck doesn't have a leak. So we check the invoice to be sure we paid for 8 qts instead of 5. Not knowing we were allegedly swindled with our truck oil change; in April, we bring our other vehicle to get an oil change. Not only does my husband realize they gave us no sticker on the windshield, he also has to reset car settings. From the unsatisfactory services provided, the unkept appearance of their waiting area and the questionable mechanical work, my family will not be retuning to this location. Had the absolute worst experience here. We dropped our car off on Thursday 3/23 to have a leak and rear breaks fixed. We had warranty so we provided that information the day we dropped it off, Come Monday they call us to let us know they did absolutely nothing to the car because they were trying to get a hold of warranty company. FIRST OFF. Why would you wait to start my car. Regardless if they approved any work or not ... we would have still paid it. Of course, they didn't have an answer to my question. I was told it would be done Tuesday and I let them know I needed it back before Thursday. Tuesday comes and it's still not done. Wednesday comes... still no progress. Call Thursday (3/30) morning at 9am and was promised it would be done in an hour. Now it's 12pm and we are finally getting the hell out of this place. I understand things happen and places are short staffed BUT DO NOT STRING CUSTOMERS ALONG and give them empty promises. The service was a complete disappointment. I paid for two services on my vehicle, but they refused to honor the second one. Instead of owning their mistake, they gave me the runaround with poor communication and zero professionalism. When a customer pays for work, they expect honesty and follow-through--not excuses. I took my vehicle into this Goodyear to get a tire patched. They called me and told me they couldn't repair the tire because ALL FOUR tires were "bad" and needed to be replaced because it was 4 wheel drive. I was told when I picked the vehicle up that two tires were "near the belts". I was also told it was dangerous to drive on the highway. I am OCD meticulous with my vehicle maintenance and KNEW something wasn't right. I follow the owners manual religiously and check the tires every time I wash the car (which is often). When I got home I checked all four tires. There is not a SINGLE tire anywhere close to the tread wear indicator. ALL tires easily pass the penny test. There isn't a tire on the truck within 10k miles of showing a belt. In addition one of the tires is 4-6 months old because a tire had to be replaced because it had a nail in the side of the tire which wasn't repairable. How is a tire that is less than half a year old and with less than 5-10k miles on it bad and need to be replaced as part of a set? I get the tires rotated and balanced after every 3k after every oil change. The truck is stock with no lift or adjustments. What's even funnier is that I had picked up the truck earlier this week from Canton Chevrolet from an oil change and tire rotation. How odd they didn't mention I needed new tires when two of the tires were "near the belts" after doing a tire rotation...I would imagine they would have wanted warn me or at a minimum sell me a set of tires, no? Checking the tires and informing the customer is literally part of the oil change and tire rotation process at the Chevy dealership. I'm no suggesting they are doing anything unethical. Maybe Goodyears standards far exceed any commonly accepted test of tread wear. Maybe Goodyears position is that a tire that isn't anywhere near the tread-wear indicator is "close to the belts". My opinion is that these standards are ridiculous and wouldn't be accepted at any other tire shop. The assumed but obvious goal to me with these standards is to scare customers with a lack of knowledge and to sell four tires 5-10k prior to the commonly accepted industry standards. These are my opinions only and I'm sure they have their standards and their own position on the topic. I won't ever be back...Maybe most people in this generation have never wrenched on a truck or a tractor and will believe anything they say without actually doing their due diligence and confirming prior to spending 1k+ on tires. Will I need new tires when the moment the tires fail the accepted penny test - yes. Will that be within the the next 10-12k miles - yes. Are the tires anywhere near the belts, fail the penny test or are dangerous - absolutely NOT and I highly doubt a single tire shop in 50 miles would agree with their assessment. Canton Chevrolet obviously didn't/doesn't according to my paper work within the same week. All I'm suggesting is that you get a second opinion about requires service on your tires. read more

Took a couple trips to diagnose a transmission issue just to send me somewhere else....

I appreciate the store Manager Dave and his crew for all they do! I needed a ton of repairs and couldn't afford to get everything done all at once. Dave was amazing in telling me what was necessary to immediately get me back on the road and what could wait until i got the money to get done. I appreciate and trust Dave and the crew, I will definitely be back to complete my repairs and will definitely recommend this Goodyear for repairs with integrity and without worry and stress. I would give zero stars if I could. They prey on people. My father had Alzheimer's and Parkinson's and was having a bad day. My mom brought their car by to have air put in the tires and was told that she needed 4 new tires as hers were becoming dangerous. My mom knows nothing about tires or anything car-related. She agreed and they put 4 new tires on their car. 2 month later she finds the receipt for the previous 4 tires that were "dangerous". Dad had bought them 5 months ago...they only had 18k on a 60k tire. When my mom called them they, of course, denied any wrongdoing...even when confronted with the old receipt. Stay away. read more

fast service, however there is no reason to charge almost double the advertised price for 1 tire. The tire was supposed to be covered under warranty however the dealership made a mistake in properly fixing the tire which led to a bulge in one of the tires. I took it to goodyear hoping for at least a discount for the defect, if not regular price, but instead got charged $147 to get the tire replaced. Go to walmart for half the price im sick of auto related places always robbing me of my money. read more

Worst automotive shop i have ever been too. David was rude towards me after I asked for a list of tire prices. I will never visit another Goodyear again. My vehicle is a 2017 with only 45,XXX miles according to them I need $2,000 in repairs when I only went to have m oil changed. I've taken 2 of my vehicles here in the last 3 months for service (oil/filter change). Have no problem with their Quality of Work........just extremely slow. Yesterday it took 1 hour 45 minutes for a simple oil change and I had made an appointment,....... and I was the first customer to arrive, they weren't slammed. Next time I will go somewhere else so I don't waste an entire morning for a simple task. read more

Be careful. They up-sold me a second tire on the pretext that they would honor a "road hazard" warranty, and then said the warranty wasn't valid and I would have to pay for both tires. If they had told me up front the warranty wasn't valid, I would have gone somewhere else! While I waited, every single person who came in with a flat to be fixed was told the tire was beyond repair and would have to be replaced! read more

I had taken my car there a few times for oil changes and for the most part had been satisfied. This last time I went they recommended about $1k worth including new tires. When I declined they made me sign a waiver basically saying if I die from a tire blow out I can't blame them. They scared me to death! I let someone else who has been working on cars for years look and he stated that my tires were perfectly fine. Which is what I thought since I had my tires for less than a year and only drive into work 3 days a week. It makes me very wary to trust them.
