This is why Chuck's Tacos is still the best! I had a doordash order of carne asada fries with no tomatos/add beans. When I got my order, it was missing the meat. I called right away to let them know. I told them I couldn't get ahold of my dasher and they sent one of there employees to bring me my correct order. It came FAST! My bean and cheese burrito was completely disgusting. It was 90% cheese and instantly made me sick to my stomach. They charged me $2.00 for a pocket size container of guacamole. Would absolutely never order again or recommend it to anyone. Just get chipotle. read more

This place used to be good but now it's too expensive and the food has gotta kinda nasty. The only thing I'll still eat from here is the carne asada fries. Their hard shell tacos are disgusting and their food all looks sloppy. They're extremely stingy with the sauce and they usually forget forks and napkins in the bags. Oh and the customer service is terrible. The owner is so rude and will just give the worst look at anyone. It's shocking, you'd think he'd want to smile at customers but no just a rude stare. The only nice one I've seen is an older lady but every other person is just so rude and unprofessional. I used to love eating here but now with the way they've changed everything and lost their quality and hospitality, I don't think I'd recommend this place to anyone ever again. read more

Tried there tacos the first time we went. Good deal for $5 included 3 tacos, rice, beans and a can soda. Carne asada is ok. Probably better after acouple of drinks. My family has history with the original owner's of this chain, but the guy who runs it, I believe Bernie, now has horrible customer service. I love coming here because the shredded beef tacos are amazing!! The recipe hasn't changed, having them brings back memories of when my father would take us to visit Guasti. We've frequented this place a lot since I found out about the name change. And you'd think Bernie would recognize his customers and be friendly, but nope! My husband ordered the fried shrimp and It only had ONE shrimp! They told us when we ordered over the phone they usually have 3 but then Bernie said no it's just the 1 shrimp! Would have given this 5 stars but the chips were nasty. Hard as hell and no flavor. Everything else was great! The beans in the carne asada burrito were AMAZING. The carne asada had great flavor too. The pastor tacos were good and my wife and son loved the chicken tacos. My son said they were the best chicken tacos he ever had (full disclosure my wife said that they were very salty and I'm sure that's why my son proclaimed their dukedom). The mild salsa had good flavor and a nice kick. The hot salsa was ok too but I've had better (I.e. King Taco). Overall I am definitely ordering from this place again! I stopped in for taco Tuesday to try some specials. I tried the crunchy shredded beef taco, the fish taco and the carnitas taco. They were all good but nothing truly out of the ordinary.. They were fast, reasonably priced, and pretty tasty. I will be back to try some other items on the menu soon. read more

Ordered a California burrito, which is always my go to burrito. First one in line with two other people sitting down waiting for their order. Two guys came walking in behind me. Burrito came out to $8, plus $1.50 for guacamole and .75 for debit use for a grand total of $10.25. New to the area we have been looking for our taco spot. Just because there are a lot around doesn't mean their all good. Chuck's street tacos were delicious. The carne asada was delicious and tender. The chicken tacos were very juicy and seasoned well. The togo packing was thoughtful. Covering the beans so the tacos didn't get soggy was professional and appreciated. We live in the next city over but Chuck's is worth the drive and so far our favorite taco shop. My husband didn't really like the bacon wrapped peppers. He found the bacon to be a little burnt (which is my preference, but...) and I think he was looking for a little more spice. read more

They have decent Mexican food and the prices are okay. It's annoying that they charge .75 to use a card or Apple Pay. Few people carry cash these days, so I'll fault them for that. It's generally not the cleanest, but I usually get my food to go anyway. It's good if you need to pick up lunch because the service is pretty fast. They also do a lot of specials and cheap tacos on Tuesday. The portions are pretty generous as well. They don't have agua fresca or jaritos which is kind of a bummer. read more

I was surprised at how fresh and delicious the food is at Chucks Tacos. We were greeted by Chris with a friendly welcoming smile. My wife and I ordered the chillaquiles with red mild sauce. Bacon was not over cooked crunchy it was perfectly golden brown; eggs were cooked as ordered and i'm only halfway through and I'm totally full! I ordered the 3 bacon and 3 sausage breakfast. SAVE YOUR TIME! The food here isn't fresh! As soon as i seen items being microwaved my stomach turned hoping that wasn't my food being reheated. I received my food after waiting 10 minutes it was a to go order. I ordered the #4 came with cheese enchilada, tamale, hard shelled taco and some rice/beans. My cheese enchilada tasted off and top it off my tortilla had green mold all around!!! Who serves expired food? My tamale was reheated forsure it was cold and hard. Tried this place for the first time, what a DUMP... I needed to use the restroom as it is they charge .50 cents and the employee up front had the nerve to tell the girl to mop at same time I asked.... I was then put on a time clock to wait for the floor to be mopped had to wait over 12 minutes and then told to wait another 7 minutes... Received the food after paying $30 for two people on taco Tuesday.. I have to say Taco Bell is better on any given day, the meat was so salty it dried my mouth... I have tried so many amazing Taco places I guess with the name "Chuck", I should expect this type of poor customer service and horrific food. I would never recommend such a poor customer service/bad food place to anyone... STAY AWAY... Hopefully they close soon and all the rude employees can figure out what real customer service means... read more
