Came here to get some shrimp fried rice, shrimp yat, and shrimp egg rolls. I called the order in and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Chung Wah has been around for a minute: I remember coming here when it was a full service restaurant. Although it is now a carry-out, there was a table and few chairs if you wanted to eat there. The ambiance was like a traditional Chinese carryout -out: fast and efficient in taking and preparing orders. When I got there, I was greeted by a pleasant young lady and told her my order number (which came via text). It was ready in the time they stated. The shrimp Yat was just ok, the noodles were cooked well with a hard boiled egg. It was coated in a soy sauce infused sauce with a slightly sweet taste. The shrimp fried rice had SEVEN shrimp () along with peas and carrots, which I didn't know was in it because I detest those in my Chinese food and I just took them out (my bad...I should have asked). A perfectly good local Chinese-American joint. It just has a counter to order at and a few chairs. I sometimes get this before band practice, which is nearby. It is of good value, and I have yet to find a bad food item here. Staff are always friendly when I have come in. Kung Pao chicken is good. Chicken and broccoli is good. I have know about this business for about all my childhood life. You know you have to be picky when it comes to the Asian cuisine. It's not all good. But this is on my top list of Asian cuisine. This is not an ear in restaurant. It's is take out only. So it's not a lot of decor. But it's plenty of food Ans for our entertainment they do use a gigantic wok. Service is quick and polite. And the so accommodate substitutes. I'm here weekly now. I think I'm due for another visit soon. Come try it. For under 15 you can not beat the quality. We ordered delivery from here tonight, 15 minutes before close, the food was hot and got here fast. I judge every place by the Singapore Mei Fun, The container was packed full, they weren't stingy with the shrimp at all. We also ordered shrimp rolls and they were amazing too. We just found our new favorite Chinese place. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was because there was no fortune cookies in the bag. read more

The parking lot is horrible, but the ppl are nice. This is a solid Chinese takeout spot. The food was so good. They also aren't stingy with giving you sauces. I placed an order on door dash based on the very misleading pictures on their app. I truly regret not checking in with my fellow yelpers first. Never have I ever had egg roll that didn't look right or taste right. This egg rolls were dark brown like inside and outside like they had been floating in grungy grease. I tasted the egg roll to confirm my thoughts and it was like a mouth full of greasy cabbage. I ordered two orders of fried wings from Chung Wah earlier today. It was 11:30 am to be precise. Because I know that many places like these will "Re-fry" wings left over from the previous day, I specifically asked if the would be freshly prepared upon order. The lady on the phone flat out lied to me and said yes they are fresh wings. Trusting her word, I drove all the way home thinking that I had bought fresh wings. Wasn't I surprised when I made it home. The wings were obviously old wings that they dropped back into the grease this morning, instead of throwing them away. To add insult to injury she charged me $18.55 for two orders of the worst looking and tasting wings that I have ever seen or tasted. I returned them and demanded a refund, which I received. I normally order the chicken with broccoli spicy for lunch but decided to take a break from that and order the string beans and chicken spicy. Even though it was delicious as always, this time my chicken seemed to be on the skimpy side. I had lots of string beans. I believe the amount of chicken I received wasn't even enough to be a whole chicken breast. I probably wouldn't order this again. Also the fried chicken that came with it was soggy. This place is really only take out there is a single table top and chairs for waiting. There is online ordering that is not here on yelp. Maybe I will figure out how to add it. The chicken nuggets taste like burger King chicken fries according to my children. They really like them. The Szechuan Lo Mein, Kung Bo Shrimp, Spring Rolls and Pepper Steak with Onions were all very good. This is the best Chinese in the neighborhood. I will order again. read more

I love coming to this restaurant every weekend. I love their House Lomain spicy and General Chows chicken. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you. I like going here for lunch I haven't really tried much from here outside of the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce lunch specials...but hey, it's really good. All of their lunch specials are 5.25 and come with a free can of soda. You really can't beat that. Their free delivery minimum is $15 and the menu claims that they have been in operation since 1965. I love Chinese food.... and I can honestly give this place a solid B! Yes it's Americanized Chinese but most times it's fresh and tasty. I usually get the fried wings which are yummy, house fried rice which is one of the best I've had in the area and Chinese donuts..aka fried biscuits with sugar! We order from here a lot. The food is generally good, but today the service was awful! The manager who answered the phone made a mistake on one of our meals. I called as soon as it arrived to ask for the correct meal. He was insistent that it was my mistake, that I had ordered the lunch special when I had not (and don't eat chow mein). He was sure because I had also ordered a drink. He agreed to bring me what I had actually ordered, but insisted on charging the difference of $2.15 between the two meals. When he delivered the replacement, he didn't have change for a $20 so he wanted to take my money and bring back change later (no). He again argued that it wasn't his fault. Before he left, he insisted that I return the chow mein lunch originally sent even though it had been opened. I hope no one is eating that! Overall, my suggestion to the owner is to hire managers with more maturity. If you make a mistake, own up to it and fix at your own expense. Also, Also, do not write the customer's credit card number on the back of the bill and attach to the order. read more
