Waited for about 30 minutes for our food while people were coming in and out. Bought the 10-piece chicken tenders and they were lukewarm and tasted stale. Nine of them went into the garbage.

No flavor in food. Pepper wasn't even spicy. Wasted $50 and my time driving there. It's not the same as it used to be. Dissatisfied.

They emailed a coupon, then won't honor it. It specifically said the Shenandoah facility on the email. The manager blamed corporate and wouldn't make it right. He said that I had to order it online, but price there was 50% more there. Email didn't specify online only. I also called twice beforehand but manager says that the phone doesn't work. Pure bs. First time I stopped by they refused to cook white meat chicken for me. 2nd time I ordered online thinking chicken would be fresh and I could avoid the hassle of them having no white meat ready. The manager had the audacity to ask her why was giving him a problem which she wasn't causing anything other than requesting for some modicum of respect but instead she received attitude. After I finished pumping my gas, I checked my order just to find what my entire order was burned and missing items, so I took my order back inside and shower to manager my order and he rudely snatched my order threw in the trash and refunded me for the order... I asked him why was he giving me such an attitude and he proceeds to to tell me that I was ban we from the eatery. As the restaurant is not open for dining, I pulled up to the order spot. Ordered the 20 piece meal which included 3 large sides(green beans, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese), plus biscuits and cole slaw. After about 15 minutes, I was handed a bag and a CC receipt, no itemized receipt was given. When I got to the house, opened the bag and found the LARGE SIDES to be about a regular size side on any restaurant menu. There were 6 hungry folks at the table and the size of the sides were pitiful. Large is not large with these folks...The bill was $40... We were craving fried chicken after a busy day and just wanted to get something off the feeder road near our area. So I went into Church's Chicken. This was a first for me. So I bravely order a nine piece family pack with 2 large sides and four honey biscuits. There were about four tables with patrons inside eating. I ordered the mild because I didn't want any confusion once we got home. The chicken was decent sized pieces in the batter coating, medium battered, oily and light on all seasonings. Problem was about half the pieces had little meat on them. Maybe they had some skinny chickens mixed in. The chicken really needed more flavoring and crispness. The mashed potatoes were fake and had an off smell to them like they use a cheap oil or margarine. The Cajun rice was total mush. Never had rice so overcooked. Kind of sad because it had decent seasoning and almost had a flavor of stuffing that smelled good on a cold rainy day. The potatoes and stuffing ended up being trashed after a few bites. They very unprofessional, no even know how to run the cashier machine. I asked for the family order mixed, they said they only have origional dark meat. So I asked for the 12 piece family pack and requested 8 drumsticks and 4 things ( all dark right). Well I got charged 2 extra dollars. The explanation I was given was " the machine can't separate the 8/4 pieces from the 6/6. Then I ask for the manager, they stated "he ia no here and we don't know how ro gwt a hold of him. When I asked for the address to make the complaint and they told me " we don't know the address, we just come to work". I paid for the food, and left. I don't planning to return here. read more

Never go to this location!!! The staff was so ugly to me! I went in with a coupon on my phone & they told me that they could not take it due to it not being printed...so what about the people that can't afford a printer or dont have one, they are denied the discount. This was a coupon on their website, not a one time use only voucher. The coupon even said "present to redeem" not print. So after I figured out something else to order, which was a 10 pc mix chicken and a couple sides (which they gave and charged me for more than i asked for), I asked for 1 packet of honey mustard to dip my chicken in and the lady literally yelled at me that she could not give it to me...What did she mean she couldnt give it me, i had money in my hand. Unfortunately I have had other instances happen that I simply disregarded as a learning curve for this Church's Chicken but the incident tonight was truly unbelievable. I printed a coupon and attempted to use it when I had the alleged Manager "Josue " indicate with the upgrade you only get 5 out 20 pieces white. I asked for the Manager after he spoke in the most degrading voice " I am the Manager, at this time ". I knew I could not patron this restaurant with any more of my hard earned money. I looked to obtain the store # and on the wall "Josue " was the employee of the month. As I attempted to continue speaking he literally ran to the back growling. When I asked "Morales" where he went, she continued to try and cover and say he had to step out. This review must be made and I must speak to the franchisee about his or her frontline helps behavior.
