    My Santa Fe trio!
    Karen S.

Literally hustled to the bar after all the work and dinner meetings were done-fifteen minutes until closing! They were starting to clean but let us in...we were initially going to take out since we felt bad coming in so late, but no, they kindly said, put some tables together and sit! I honestly took the longest to choose between all of their combos, and it was of course delicious. They hand make every churro as you'll see in the photos. Same with the shakes. So despite our late arrival, they didn't finish serving us until last their closing time. They didn't rush us, and of course we all tipped well. I believe there were three to four staff members helping to make all of our treats. It's a cozy setting with several tables. Check out the menu and the cool churros that they made for us! Each one is about a two to three bite size, many loaded with goodies and fresh fruits, depending on what you order. You can also order the regular version, and you can combine your favorites into trios;)! Enjoy! I'm so glad my colleagues convinced me to step out into the freezing cold (ummm, anything near 60 is cold to me, tbh, since I'm from Hawai'i, and in my defense, it snowed on us later), and walk several blocks late at night, just to taste these special treats!

Service was good from the minute we stepped inside. We were acknowledged and offered a place to sit. The patio was very nice and given the nice weather is where we decided to spend our time enjoying the treats . The churros were well crafted, not excessively sweet and paired well with the side of ice cream we ordered. The Santa Fe true had berries, a very preserve and pistachios for garnish while the New Mexico featured pumpkin seeds and piñon as the garnishes. The best way to describe these is a small churro taco filled with the chocolate and dulce de leche and topped with delicious garnishes. All in all a great experience and would do it again to try the other favors. If you're in the market to try something different and you have a sweet tooth, give them a try.

We came for dessert after dinner. From their special churro to the regular cinnamon ones, we all enjoyed them. First time having gourmet churros. The owner was very nice too. The only thing one of my friends said was he wished the chocolate dipping sauce was more unique.

Gerardo, the owner of Churro Bar (C+B) is a visionary, dedicated to his business, employees and customers, and has a strong ambitious personality. We had the pleasure of talking to Gerardo and learning about him and his business. A very kind person who started from the bottom of the culinary industry and who ambitiously worked his through to eventually transition to owning his own business, the churro bar! There are many different kinds of churros available. The churro flights are the most popular, but they also have full size churros that can be ordered by the dozen and half dozen too. The traditional churros are perfection, and quite popular to order. Churro Bar also specializes in stuffed churros. Full transparency, I absolutely do not care for stuffed churros as I am a purest and think that churros are perfectly delectable on their own as they were designed. However after trying Gerardo's gourmet stuffed churros I can now say the only stuffed churros I adore are Gerardo's stuffed churros. These stuffed churros are sophisticated, made with whole ingredients, no artificial colors or flavorings which I love. They are best eaten fresh for dine in. These stuffed churros are works of art and delicately assembled and the flavor profile is that of a Michelin rated restaurant. Clean and delicate flavors, not overwhelming whatsoever. The reason why I never liked stuffed churros is because they're always over kill on the stuffing and stuffed with super artificial gelatinous over the top jellies. These churros are in a completely new category of their own. I believe Gerardo created a completely new and innovative take on stuffed churros. You just have to try to believe. Hoping Gerardo considers opening a location in Los Angeles because truly there is no other gourmet churro like his!!!

Pretty fancy churro bar. It's cozy and cute. They do flights and regular no flavor but come in 3s. Tried the santa fe flight- because when in Santa Fe! Loved the addition of pinion nuts for the pumpkin churro. They were really made with intention.

    Flight of churros. $12+ tax.

Service was fantastic. Space is really cute. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. The churros were absolutely plated with care. I took a star off for the price point and that I would personally prefer my churros a bit more lighter in texture.

Omgggggg literally heaven on earth just GO don't act like you don't want to. 100/10 seriously best churros I've ever had

My wife and i were in the mood for an indulgent dessert and Churro Bar delivered! We ordered the Clasico, which was three small churros: dulce de leche and pecans; strawberry sauce and coconut; and, chocolate and roasted almonds. All three churros were excellent and truly a taste experience! The staff at the restaurant as well as the owner were friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was very chilled and relaxed --- a great place for a dessert and to hang out. We love churros so we loved coming here.

Cute and creative spot! A take on churros, they offer 3 kinds of flights. Service was friendly and pricing reasonable.

Such an exciting way to eat churro! My husband and I went for the Clasico. A set of three fun churros: Dulce de Leche and Pecan; Strawberry Sauce and Coconut; and Chocolate and Roasted Almonds. Each was prepared prettily and yummy! It's a wonderful dessert spot for anyone looking for something exciting. The staff is super nice and warm.

Really great place for a treat in downtown Santa Fe. The churros in the flights are small enough that you can eat a couple flights and try lots of flavors without getting stuffed. Personally, my favorites were the Azul Lemon, Snow White, and Zucca. There's a couple tables inside, but the weather was very nice so I sat on the patio. I'm pretty sure it was the owner that served me and he was quite friendly. It's a bit expensive ($11 per flight), but this shop offers a unique product in a tourist area, so I can see why it's priced that way.

The Santa Fe flight! Dulce de leche with berries; chocolate hazelnut with almonds and kiwi; Lemon/blueberry/pistachio delight

We had the best experience at Churro Bar. The churros were absolutely spectacular -- perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, with the most creative and surprisingly perfect flavor combinations. Truly next-level. We actually thought they were closed when we arrived (they were having fryer issues), but when they heard we were only in town for one night and that it was a surprise visit, they welcomed us in anyway and treated us with so much kindness. It turned what could've been a bust into one of the sweetest moments of our trip. Incredible churros, incredible people. Can't recommend them enough.

We were strolling around downtown and saw a sign for Churro Bar and honestly I don't even like churros or sweets but the name caught my attention and the elegant marketing drew me in. It's a cute place with a nice outdoor area but it has rained a little so we wanted to sit inside. The owner was really friendly and chatted with us, he talked about the menu and I was super excited when he said they offered flights. I LOVE flights and being able to sample a little of everything. We got the Classico and the Santa Fe and they were all good, not super sweet, crispy yet soft, and all great mixes of flavors. My favorite was the Dulce de leche with berries. I noticed they offered elotes on the weekend and lamented that I would miss that and wanted it and the owner was so nice, he decided to make some for us. It wasn't exactly the same as the weekend offering but I am not complaining, it was esquites with Parmesan cheese not Mayo sauce with lime and chili. It was the best and we were so grateful for the unexpected kindness. I highly recommend!!!

We definitely preferred to European style with almond milk, but I think that we would like the more traditional ones if they were made with milk. We also really liked the brownies, though the Aztec brownie + ice cream gave me an intense caffeine overload--my fault! Our first time here we each got an ice cream, both with fudge and whipped cream. As I said, while the Aztec was delicious, it really was too much for me, but I still ate the whole thing! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed my husband's mint chocolate chip--the peppermint flavor was real--it tasted like they soaked the milk with peppermint leaves to make it, and it was so refreshing! We liked the chocolate truffles and bon bons so much that we ended up buying them as gifts. Our favorite flavors were the sage/goat cheese, peanut butter bar, Aztec round, bourbon pecan, and lavender. Finally, the service was outstanding. The servers were so kind, patient, and helpful. Our first trip the server took the time to write each flavor on our box of chocolates so that we would know what was what. The second server listened as we decided which treats were for which friends, and he wrote their names on each box before wrapping them. So very kind!

Though the chocolates are quite costly, $4-5 per piece. I also had a mint chocolate ice cream. The mint flavor here is so unique, of fresh mint, which might not fit well with people who likes mint chocolate ice cream. I like it though. The ice cream is soft and smooth. Chocolate pieces are creamy Mango smoothie is refreshing. I recommend checking this unique place out when visiting Santa Fe.

We came in here on our last day visiting Santa Fe in the summer and I'm so glad we did, as it was on my list of things to try after perusing Yelp for notables. I had a scrumptious white bean-roasted red pepper-melted cheese tartine on delicious, fresh house-made bread topped with a balsamic glaze. I think it was one of the better dishes I had while in town. It was served with an array of olives on the plate. So good! They were out of the egg salad sandwich by the time we arrived, which was something a family member wanted to try, but they ordered an avocado toast instead. Also great and served with olives. I have been coming here for thirty-five years, and it blows my mind that after more than three decades, it keeps reaching new heights while fiercely retaining everything that made it legendary in the first place: the unbeatable high quality, the remarkably affordable prices, and those effortlessly cool, historic vibes. It is a rare, beautiful gem that refuses to compromise its soul, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This visit was extra special because my fiancé was a first-timer, and he was instantly converted, falling just as madly in love with the magic of this place as I did decades ago. On this particular afternoon, the lines were wrapped around the courtyard and the energy was absolutely electric. It was hella busy, which is a testament to how beloved this institution remains. Rather than waiting for a table, we decided to grab our food to go--a move that turned out to be pure perfection. We took our feast over to the historic plaza square, found a spot to sit, and ate under the shade of the trees while listening to live music drift through the air. With a beautiful, cool mountain breeze rustling through the plaza, it was the most quintessential, magical Santa Fe experience you could ever ask for. As for the food, it remains an absolute revelation. I ordered my enchiladas "Christmas" style, split right down the middle with both their famous, deeply savory red chile and their bright, perfectly spiced green chile. The first bite instantly reminded me why no one else can touch what they do here. The blue corn tortillas were tender, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the chiles carried that robust, earthy, authentic New Mexico heat that warms you from the inside out. It is a flawless execution of culinary tradition. To be able to deliver that level of world-class, scratch-made perfection at a price point that still feels incredibly generous is nothing short of a miracle. Whether you sit in their enchanting, labyrinthine dining rooms or pack it up for a picnic on the square, The Shed is the absolute pinnacle of the Santa Fe spirit.
