Always has delicious food. Very fresh ingredients. The restaurant can be loud at times, but it's not super disruptive. The staff here are efficient and informative, always seem happy

First time at this Chuy's. Jordan is our server. She was very attentive, nice, and awesome server. The food was meh. They messed up my daughter's meal and my soup was okay. The appetizer plate was not good. However, it was a lot of food. On another note, the white sauce (ranch dressing) was not good to me. The set up of the restaurant was cafe-like. The decor was of pics of dogs. So cute.

3.5 - Cute, spacious spot. Came here with a friend and was seated immediately. The food was yummy but service was pretty slow. She was nice but we were without water for a while and she only checked on us twice.

    First visit here! Tex-Mex!!

Well, when you go to Best Buy so often, how can I not visit the great restaurants in walking distance from this electronics/appliance outlet? So far, Keke's down, Mission BBQ down, and today, it was time to attack the Tex-Mex world at Chuy's! Things that immediately stood out to me were the large outdoor seating area and how large and colorful it was on the interior of the restaurant. Though no one ate outside due to the hot weather, inside was a different story. Busy got busier during our visit. But so much was good during the experience. Vanessa was one of the most courteous and caring servers I've ever seen. She did a great job with us and all the customers served with her patience, high level of knowledge of the meals Chuy's offers (she got everything spot on with our questions and meal choices), along with frequent visits to our table to see how we were doing. An enthusiastic, caring server can always enhance a restaurant experience to levels that make other aspects of a shop visit almost disappear. But not for me! I loved the chile relleno from a ma and pa shop I frequented when lived in San Diego. I was thrilled to give it another try here at Chuy's! Vanessa said it's made more Texas style and it was different in appearance, but at the same time, it was far better than the San Diego version! It was fried perfectly with a chicken filling inside and a nice sauce below it. It was a medium heat level but never overbearing - and it was HUGE! The whole meal was so large I had to take half of it home. It also came with a healthy offering of Mexican rice, refried beans and a chicken and sauce-filled enchilada. Wow! We also had the seasoned beef burrito, which was basic and filled with ground beef, refried beans and cheese. This meal was not near as complex as the chile relleno combo. Again, this restaurant is large and is able to accommodate a lot of people both inside and outside the restaurant. It's clear from the tables, chairs and booths that it's been around for a good number of years. I do think Chuy's should consider renovating and upgrading them some time in the future, without pulling a Cracker Barrel job! Stay yourself in the process! But Overall, I thought about leaving a four star review on this one over the appearance, but because the service and food was so overwhelmingly good, I'm going with five stars on this review! I do look forward to visiting again in the future! Recommend: HIGH

We go to Chuy's everytime when we need a quick and easy meal. The food is delicious and we never get disappointed. Plus we always run into our friends there too! Each room is extremely decorative. Today we sat jn the puppy room, which is one of our favorites! Other rooms have palm trees and plates on the ceiling! Crazy, but so fun! The entire atmosphere of the place is so welcoming and fun to look at. Today we had an amazing server named Alan, he was very attentive and brought smiles to our faces! Amazing time at Chuy's and I highly recommend.

    Fajita for two. ‍

My wife and I order the fajita for two as take out, boy what a mistake. We arrived home and were very disappointed with the portions in the order. (See picture.) Please note we are a fan of Chuy's, but we will only eat at the restaurant from now on. If we want to eat at home we will have to find a better option for our $$$.

They have the best food and the queso is heavenly. The off menu Shirley Goo is amazing and if you order tortillas with it you can make like 7 tacos

My Tex-Mex Burrito Bowl is half way eaten before In thought to take a photo but the photo was really really really good! My mom had the Chicken Fajitas- she is hard to please but she (like me) also was extremely happy with her meal. Our service was even better‼, Zach served us Not my first time but never felt obligated to leave a review until today! My only regret is that I didn't have more cash on me to leave a bigger bag tip

This was my first time to this restaurant and my friend really wanted to go here tonight. After the service that we received and the quality of food I can see why this is high on her list. To begin with, we had the honor of having Matthew as our server. Not only does he have the most pleasant smile, he was a genuine professional, who you can tell by his demonstrated actions is not only customer centered, but he loves his job. He was able to make menu suggestions and was spot on. He maintained a great sense of humor listened attentively and treated the other tables just as outstanding to them as he did us. The food quality was great, I had the chicken burrito, which I will say Matthew was right as it was excellent. The burrito was huge, especially for the price and my friend had the taco salad. Though I did not try it she loved it! We splurged on dessert - now I weigh 1,000,000 pounds. The ambience in this restaurant is great, loved the palm trees, and I liked how they had the various entrances. I also very much liked all the hubcaps from old vehicles on the ceiling and one of the dining areas. Overall, this was a great visit. The price was outstanding and the service was even better. You cannot pay enough for good customer service either. It's intuitive and you have it or you don't Matthew truly has it!

Stopped in for a quick drink as we were early for an event! They gave a Happy Hour with $ off. We voice a veer and Margarita. Staff was attentive. The guest next to me ordered desert for dinner. Check out the Tres Leche Desert!

We went to Chuy's today for lunch at the Town Center after an event at Jacksonville Beach. We had about 14 people in our group. My wife and I were the only people in the group that has gone to Chuy's before. We told them all "you will love Chuy's for lunch"! My wife and I arrived first and got the tables ready with the hostess. Our waitress "Jamie Lynn" was great at taking care of our table. I wanted to try something different this time so I decided to get THE ELVIS PRESLEY MEMORIAL COMBO. It was really good and definitely this dish if you're undecided on what to try. My wife got the -CHICKA BOOM-BOOM. She said it was good. It was a little spicy but not bad at all. She recommends this as well. Everyone was super friendly! Manager came by and checked in on us and asked if everything was ok which was nice. Restaurant was clean.

    New Mexican martini
    Shana S.

Chuys has always been a favorite of mine! I love going to sit at the bar and just taking in the vibe. The New Mexican martini is wonderful for us spicy drink lovers and always my go to drink! Chile rellenos is a hit as well but make sure to get it with a side of homemade tortillas for a little razzle dazzle! The chips and salsa that they bring out is also a plus, the salsa is some of the best I've ever had. It is so fresh and light! The bartenders are always a fun bunch, very lively most of the time and make the best drinks!

I recall the first time I have been to this restaurant was in 2022. I wasn't disappointed that day for lunch. The food here is always good and there a lot to choose from on the menu. The service here was very good that day. The ambiance within this restaurant was excellent, because I was suprised to see a female making handmade tortillas. I was super impressed, because the last time I saw a female making homemade tortillas was when I was California. The restrooms were very clean and presentable that particular day. I decided to have an enchiladas dish. Everything on that plat was very good and I loved the cheese sauce that was poured over the enchiladas. I will definitely return here soon to enjoy watching the tortillas lady.

We were immediately impressed when we went in; lots of dark wood and a long bar with shelves and shelves of spirits. There were mostly bourbons and whiskeys. They even had a rolling ladder so bartenders could reach top-shelf bottles. We had about a 10 minute wait for a table on a Saturday for lunch. The time went by quickly and we were seated at a small wooden table. Our server, Erin, approached us quickly and took our drink orders. I ordered a Blue Moon and my husband had the WC Old-Fashioned. It was made with Evan Williams 1783 Bourbon and he said it was quite good. ($13). For food; I had the Rooster Royale which was a fried chicken sandwich with pickles and hot honey BBQ sauce. It was $16.50, and one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had! Even the bun was delicious! I'd planned on only eating half; but I ended up eating it all because it was so good. I also had the homemade chips which were yummy too. My husband had the Reuben which was $19. He said it was really tasty and full of meat. He commented that it didn't get "mushy" or fall apart. He had the crispy potatoes as his side and he raved about those too. We really enjoyed our meal at Whiskey Cake and would definitely return. The only drawback I can think of is that they don't seem to have very many healthy lo-cal options.

While reservations are required, Laura the owner , was gracious enough to let us get transported to this wonderful place you see here. First off, this place is everything! The details from ceiling to wall to all the fixtures, it's very immersive, you are in the islands sir or ma'am! Goodbye Jacksonville! We were seated up front where performer Kalani Rose set the mood and infused the air with her lovely voice. The tempo was upbeat, the volume was just right, allowing for intimate conversation and lively chatter alike. Great for date nights and group outings. We ordered food including Aloha Sliders, Huli Huli Wings , and Furikake Fries. Food was good, would've loved more of the glaze on the mini burgers tho! The drinks we ordered included Mai Tai (rum based w/ orange ) and Halekulani (bourbon with pineapple orange and lemon) , these were delicious. A bit on pricey side but strong! Just some information to know it is primarily a bar, they only have about 6 appetizers to order from. The appetizers were good and came out very quickly. The first thing that caught my attention was the amount of times they put food down at our table we did not order after about the 3rd or 4th time of this happening it seemed to be something they do to up the bill in hopes you don't notice. The second thing that thoroughly surprised and bothered me was after ordering another round of drinks, the second the drink was put at our table the waitress came over to check us out. No one had asked for the bill so we were all confused as to why we were being told we needed to close out, especially since we had just ordered more drinks. The waitress tells our party they have another reservation coming and they need our table... We all scramble quickly to leave so there's no issue and once we were outside that's when we realized there was no time limit on our table nor did anyone ask to close out the tab. Thankfully the hula dancers and our own group made the experience great however this place is very clearly a money grab and should not be accepting more reservations than can be handled as it completely ruined the end of our experience.
