We love Chuy's. Especially the creamy jalapeno which I am known to buy in quart size. The food is always good. The tortilla soup is perfect for a cold day. And there many options for vegetarians.

Not quite sure about the bad reviews. Personally being from California. I don't expect good Mexican food anywhere else really. Even in other states on the border it's different. When my family said we were going to the only good Mexican place out here I was still unsure. But when I saw Tex mex I got more optimistic. I really enjoyed the meal. The service was great and so was the music and vibes. LOVE the cilantro sauce that comes with the chips. My sister in law even took a container to go. The salsa is also really good. I don't care for hot sauce type salsa. I prefer thick, chunky, slightly spicy one and that's what you get here. Being Tex mex there was a lot of green chile in the menu. Not a huge fan but I went ahead and ordered the green chile fried chicken and asked for some of the cilantro sauce for it. The chicken was awesome and really hit the spot. Rice and beans were good. I like when the beans come with cheese but that might be a California thing and not many places can top my grandmas rice but these sides were adequate. We also had the sampler appetizer. I only tried the flauta because that's what I intended to order for my meal and it was good, I would recommend. The iced tea was really good. Not sure if it's sweet tea, probably was cuz it was sweet but it had just a light flavor and one of the best teas I've had. My family really likes this place so I'm sure I'll be back in my next visit to Murfreesboro and I actually look forward to it.

Disappointing. This location of Chuy's has gone down since Covid. To begin with, the table was extremely sticky. The floor looked as though it had not had a thorough cleaning in a while. There was food under the tables from previous diners. The restaurant was not busy on this Wednesday night at all so whoever was responsible to clean had plenty of opportunities. The margarita was syrupy sweet. The beef fajita tacos al carbon had an unbelievable amount of onions on them and very little meat. The chips and salsas were fine. Additionally, our server did not know why the chile rellenos were not on the menu, but thought maybe they had them on the weekend? Frankly, she seemed confused about several of the items on the menu. If one does choose to go here, do pickup or delivery, but keep in mind that if the public places (I.e., the table and dining room floors) are dirty, how are the places one cannot see (I.e., the kitchen) kept?

I've been going to this same location for the past 16 years, and not once have I had a horrible experience. Chuy's is still one of my favorite Tex-Mex restaurants. I recently enjoyed their new Chile relleno, with its light and crunchy batter, and flavorful filling. I loved this type of batter than the egg one that's found at most Mexican restaurants. I also ordered my favorite ponchos. Can't go worn with that! Our server was wonderful and kept up with our table. The environment is alway so upbeat and fun!

My first impression about 11 years ago was just "meh". However, I gave it another try. It certainly has some items that are very good and what is would say are exclusive to Chuy's. Anything with Creamy Jalapeño is going to be great--I could drink that stuff. I usually order a large order to go. Recently, I tried the taco salad--Very fresh and filling. Probably one of my favorite menu items so far. The oven roasted chicken truly gives it a better flavor than basic chicken or even grilled chicken which I what most other restaurants have. They also have great salsa which I also get an order to go.

The staff were attentive throughout the meal, and the food was the definition of comfort food. I ordered the Veggie Mandu, Jjajang Myun, and Tangsuyuk, and every dish was excellent with generous portion sizes. The Veggie Mandu had an incredibly crispy exterior with a rich, savory umami flavor. I've had Jjajang Myun at several other restaurants, and while this version wasn't my favorite, it was still solid and enjoyable. The Tangsuyuk was the standout--it was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender inside, and the sauce struck a great balance of sweetness without being overpowering, making it easy to keep reaching for another bite. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely be back to try the desserts.

It's a comfy place, plenty of of space, plenty of parking. But you will return, again and again, for the quality Korean-centric food. Really impressed with the dumplings apps, crispy and tasty. The Korean cheese corn is solid. The complimentary sides are great--liked the kimchi, the potato salad and the radishes. So good, and fun. The chicken katsu is the best in town, with a perfect salad accompaniment. Really impressed with the zesty kkanpung chicken. You will want to lick the sauce from the bowl but please restrain yourself. Was there for an early lunch so trying the bar needs to come later but there is a separate bar section, if you care for just apps and cocktails. Servings are generous. More enough to share. Considering the quality and quantity, prices are fair.

Always meant to go here, but never followed through until last night when my bestie Kim invited me…read moreto hear a Journey tribute by the band Resurrection. I'd never heard of them, but... Journey, right? I'm a metalhead primarily, but enjoy quite a few other types. Not a huge fan of country unless it's funny, but that's another story. I checked out the hours on Yelp, naturally, because where else, and noticed there hadn't been a review since around 2015. I'm about to rectify that... It's only getting 4 stars due to parking. It's not marked and you guess that all the cars directly across the street are PROBABLY where you should go... and once you get inside, and sign tells you that it IS correct. Confusing. Would you be towed? I have a handicap tag and I parked in front of the building to the right of them next to two very large pickup trucks. Wasn't towed, no ticket. Thank God. Fluke? Lucky? Don't know... When we went up the weird little steps... not exactly handicap accessible... it's a fairly dark crowded place with a wide aisle separating tables from the check-in area, a small serving area, the long bar, more tables the stage, and access to the upstairs seating area. The lady that checked us in verified Kim's name in a book even though she ordered her tickets through some app... didn't even need to scan the QR code! We were given our little bracelets and went to find a table... hopefully... as it fills up FAST there! However, as soon as we got the bracelet on, we were headed past two young ladies who gave us FREE PASSES TO NEXT WEEK'S GUNS 'N ROSES TRIBUTE! Yep! Have bracelets to get into that for free, thanks to Jadan Geren and Rachel Dame. Thanks, dolls! We will try to make it! Thankfully, a sweet married couple by the names of Shannon and Brandon had a couple of free chairs at their table, so we had a place to sit, and it was close to both bar and stage. A pole was kind of in the way, but... sitting. Table. Nice couple. Thankful. The prices aren't too bad. Bottled beer was $4.50, mixed drinks I'm not sure of as I was the designated driver. Bottled water $1... fries $2.50, onion rings $2.99. Combos like burgers and fries $8... grilled cheese and fries I think was $7 or $7.50... they have things like fried pickles or cheese sticks for about $8... sorry I couldn't get a pic of the paper sheet that was a menu... ours was wrinkled, and they're a dark wine color... The opening act, which wasn't advertised, wasn't bad if you like a predominantly country, raspy voiced acoustic guitar kinda guy. His name was "Bobby". Just... Bobby. Was told he played in Nashville 6 days a week. I can see it. He's pretty good. Just not what anyone wanted to hear for a couple of hours while waiting for a Journey tribute... and I heard people complaining left and right. And yawning. Yep. Yawning. It was the fact raspy voices don't have much range, and after about an hour he was beyond monotonous... Once Resurrection came on stage? It got hopping!!! The bar had pretty much run out of food during Boring Bobby, so people need to eat EARLY. The acoustics are pretty good, the bass beat even vibrates the floor! The employees are ALL really nice. Customers/venue goers (whatever you want to call the people that bought tickets) are pretty nice, but have no compunction whatsoever of blocking your view. None. The open floor in front of the stage isn't that big and they will cram themselves on it or block the aisle leading to it, making it hard to get to your table if it's close to the stage and you went to the bar or the restrooms located to the right of the bar. Oh well. Concert. Happy rocking people. Deal with it, right? I'll update if Kim and I make it to the GNR tribute...

It's a good sized club and they play a lot of good music. I've heard everything from funk to edm to hip hop. They bring in many great local artists to showcase their skills all the time. One of the other workers was talking about giving her brother and his 16 year old friends alcohol and they cheered her on. It was just weird all around. The place could use a heavy cleaning instead of bunch of lazy 22 y/o. No beef with the owner, I just think he should weigh more heavily on the ability to do the job rather than tight clothes and shitty attitudes with no patron awareness. This place needs bar rescue.
