I've honestly had better frozen Mexican food. Everything was cold except the plate which the server didn't bother mentioning. Needed a microscope to find any meat in the enchiladas. Server never asked how we were doing or how the food was. When she asked if we wanted a box to go I told her it was the worst Mexican food I've ever had. She didn't even bother apologizing. I would love to leave a great review for this place but this location doesn't accept call ahead seating. They require you to be there in person. And every time we go it's over 1.5 hours for a wait. So we will continue to avoid it. Which is a shame because we love Chuy's. read more

The food was pretty good. The service, well a new person training as a waiter. They had this dip called Blanco jalapeño. They used dry ranch dressing, very strong ranch dressing flavor. Not a Blanco cheese and jalapeño flavor. A little crowded and loud with a 45 minute wait when we were there. I may go back, but I doubt it. read more

Dined at your new restaurant in Terrell and just after we got our food the alarms starting going off. While the alarms were going off not a single member of management came to the dining room to explain and or to evacuate the restaurant. Come to find out the restaurant starting to flood from a water pipe leaking. At this point I asked for my check and left. As I paid for my $50 meal which I could not eat due to the alarms going off. Also during this whole time the hostess team was still taking peoples name for tables. This was a pretty bad first impression for the restaurant. In all actuality I should have not even paid for the meal, as that was not in my control and your leadership did nothing to evacuate the building. I got the enchilada taco combo, enchilada was cold, cheese not melted, took way longer than expected to get it replaced. Salsa is like pico de gallo, very thin. Enchilada sauce tasted like it came out of a can. Manager apologized but didn't adjust the check. Pretty disappointing! read more

Service, went in when there was 12 tables empty nfl game about to go into overtime with family. Asked to get a table where I could see TV got put at booth in a corner asked again was told if I wanted to watch the game with my family the bar top was open. Guess it just doesn't matter how you treat people in businesses anymore. This was one of our favorite spots since it's opened looking more like that will be short lived. read more

Last year I was so excited when I heard that Chuy's was coming to Terrell but that excitement was over soon after they opened. Right out of the gate I have to say that I am really disappointed. Like every other chain restaurant in town some genius decided to build their tiny "Wish" version of Chuy's right here in Terrell. I've been a patron of this chain since I lived in Austin in the early 90's and I have never been to another location that is as small and cramped as this one is. I cannot believe that the Chuy's corporate office approved a franchise this small but apparently they did. On top of all that there has not been one time I've showed up here with my family of 3 where we did not have to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour to be seated (why? because it's SO SMALL!). I know that the employees are still pretty new but they constantly got our orders wrong and acted like they had no idea what they were doing. On at least 3 of our visits the server was very rude to us as well. Oh yeah and the owner apparently hates cats! Even though we live in Terrell I would rather go to a bigger location in Plano or Southlake and not deal with the hassle of going here again. read more

Took my family there tonight and because I told the manager we didn't want to sit outside he proceeded to tell the hostess to not seat us and sat down the next three couples into booths and a 4 seat table.They purposely kept seating walking until we finally left.The manager is rude and has no business as one in a customer service based company.We love chuys and are very disappointed and hope this helps others not have to be treated in such a manner. read more

I have been there three times and eaten there twice due to one of the times was a two hour wait. The first time was not bad. Service was good and the food was what I have experienced from other locations. This late experience I had to go get our chips and creamy jalapeño ranch from the bar as our waitress was very inattentive. Took a very long time to get our drinks as well. I paid my bill via the QR code on the bill and after doing so our waitress came over stating she had given our bill to another table and they had paid it by mistake. I informed her I had already paid it online and she just walked away. She never came back nor did any manager come to the table to make sure things were good. There are plenty of Tex-Mex places around here. Chuy's, you need to get your business right or your location is going to suffer. read more

I thank the heavens every night that they put one near Forney. We moved from Austin and have had a void in our souls since. Chuys has helped!
