Very disappointed with this restaurant. I had a part of 9 and when I tried to call ahead to reserve a table I was told they would not reserve a table until we arrived. When we did we were told we had over an hour and a half wait. We decided to go to Hacienda Colorado and were seated immediately. The rellenos I just had were wonderful. These were not made with egg roll wrappers - these were hand battered and deep fried to delicious perfection. Great food and great service. My spouse can't do spicy but our server pointed her to tasty non-spicy options. read more

I am from Texas and was more than thrilled when Chuys opened in Colorado! We drive from Fort Collins all the time to eat here. Recently, we stopped in for lunch and my order got messed up. Jerry, our server was so awesome! My order was fixed immediately and I got a free lunch. The food is amazing and the service is phenomenal. Also, the prickly pear shots are delicious! This is our third time coming to this location. We were told there was a half hour wait this time but it was only 10 minutes. They have the fastest service and with three kids it is so nice. Tonight had to have been our best experience. Our server was just the BEST fast, friendly and FUN!! He was great!! The food is always a hit with everyone (ages 5 and up) The kids chicken tenders are simply melt in your mouth delicious. The Tomatillo is also really good. The salsa is a bit too spicy for me but the white sauce is perfect!! The gets get a Push Pop too with their meal. We just love it here. read more

I agree with some other reviews. This is not my kind of Mexican food. A plate of beans and rice with less than 1/3 plate entree. I asked for green chili as my sauce and couldn't find any. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said it was underneath? Sour cream was a thin drizzle on top of a dry chimi. We won't be back. Try Los Arcos if you want real Mexican food. read more

The queso is amazing, it's got a little kick to it which I like and has a really great flavor. The chips could be thicker because they kept breaking when dipping them. The entrees are nothing too special. I got the cheese and onion enchiladas and they were ok. Not much flavor and the rice and beans tasted too salty. Visited today for lunch. I have came here on several occasions and have never had such a bad experience. First off the food is amazing hands down. With that being said the terrible service today is enough to make me not want to come back. I was looking forward to a nice lunch but it was the opposite. Our waiter paid no attention to any of his tables. I had to ask multiple times for a refill because the food was spicy (love it) but sometimes you need a drink when eating spicy food. He would say ok no problem and never showed up with my drink. Then waited a bit for my food which is fine when it came back I had to send it back because it's not what I had asked for. Had to wait awhile again and then food comes out. Still no refill on my drink. During this time another table had sat next to us maybe 5 minutes after we got there....they STILL haven't even gotten drinks. Like what?! After my food was delivered the waiter never came back to our table. We had to ask another waitress if we can get our check and she said she would get our waiter. At this point I was frustrated and walked up to find a manager. He did NOTHING to fix the situation. He rolled his eyes saying "yeah I'm the manager I'll get you your check " finally we got to pay with the other waitress. Keep in mind the table next to me is STILL waiting for their drinks and I had told the manger about it. He didn't fix it. As we were walking out I told the table the service doesn't get any better and they would be better going somewhere else. So they ended up leaving as well. Not ok. I know nothing about TexMex food so had to try this new restaurant in Belmar, even though my friend said the food was not good. I had the #9 Chicken Combo which consisted of a chicken & bean tostada, a soft chicken taco and guacamole on the side. No beans or rice. Everything was really delicious. The chicken was flavorful and tender. Their flour and corn tortillas were freshly made in the restaurant. The chips and salsa were fresh and good. The salsa is finely chopped fresh ingredients. Although I paid $10.75 for a margarita, it tasted perfect. (They do have a happy hour margarita for $5.) I liked the fact that everything was freshly made there. The restaurant has a diner atmosphere and is really loud and noisy. There is a very small bar area with very little seating on one side of the restaurant as you walk in. I checked it out as I was waiting to be seated. I was there for dinner on a Thursday and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Not bad. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. read more
