Well the pizza was pretty darn good for a national chain type place. However, it was crazy greasy.

I first went to this location 2 years ago and again today this is still the BEST Cicis ever! In total I have been to over 20 different Cicis locations in over 5 states and this is the very best there is without a close second! I wish all Cicis could be this good. They have great service and friendly staff and they will even make special pizzas for you on the buffet! I was able to have chicken bacon ranch, taco, buffalo bacon macaroni, and cheeseburger pizzas! So delicious! These workers deserve an award and the CEO should use this location as a model of what a franchise should look like! read more

Tbh I hadn't been to a Cicis since I was about 8 or 9, but I was really pleasantly surprised. Pizza was pretty great, Jeremy was an amazing person to experience, and overall my wife and I left with the dumbest smile on our faces. Great experience and felt like childhood. read more

It's really hit or miss the cici pizza here in Springfield mo off battlefield. Sometimes the pizza is really good. And other times it isn't. Sometimes they have a good variety of pizzas out for the customers to try that are hot and fresh. Other times it three options of pizza sitting out and it is cold. The pasta is hit or miss two. Hot and fresh. Or total crap. Marinara sauce is often disappointing. Salad bar sucks beyond. Very few options. Lettuce is usually not fresh as well as the other items on it. As well as dirty looking. Actually most times I have visited the place could really stand a good cleaning. Soda fountain is usually dirty. But there are times it's clean. Men's room most times I visited is dirty. But occasionally it's clean. Same as the booths and tables. Either sticky table tops or crumbs in your seat. However there dessert pizza is always good.. shame this place use to be pretty good . But like I said hit or miss. I guess it depends on how hungry you are and what you can over look for some good dessert pizza. read more

I think the food is great, it's not fancy by any means but it's tasty and there's a large selection to pick from. The prices are very good overall. Nearly every employee I've encountered has been helpful and friendly. They bus in a timely manner without being around too much. It's clean and fairly modern but can get pretty busy, loud and chaotic when there's lots of kids mainly because of the arcade. Overall it's one of my go to's for a pizza buffet at a good price. I'm baffled by the negative reviews as we've never had a bad experience in any way. read more

We had a great experience here this evening. While there were many options of pizza on buffet to choose from, I really wanted vegetarian. I asked if it was available and they made one and brought several slices to my table. As new pizzas are put out, they will announce it so you know what is available. Pastas, pizza, salad and dessert all for a decent price. Seniors are offered a discount. Casual atmosphere. Game room adjacent for the littles. read more

What a delight to find a Cici's close to home. Very very good food. Everything was so fresh. I signed up to get text message deals and got a free drink. The pizza was delicious and the cheesey bread is awesome. I was greeted by a mgr at the register who was very friendly. Staff is doing a great job keeping buffet filled. Got here at 5:10 on 3/6/2023. Had to stand and wait at the register for forever. This old white dude, I'm assuming a manager, was behind the counter when we got there, but he wouldn't ring us up. Instead, he just stood there and stared at us, then turned around and yelled for his black employee in a super condescending tone. She rang us up and he berated her right in front of us. When I saw him later on in the evening, he was still sitting behind the counter staring at his cell phone. It was extremely off putting, felt racist and very uncomfortable. read more

The buffalo pizza was pretty good. But the brownie and most of the pizzas were undercooked especially the brownie. The place was nice looking and relatively clean. The service was really good. Upon walking in we were greeted with a rather blunt, rude annoyed man behind the register. He could have been having a bad day, but geez- the whole staff looked miserable. I'd be miserable too if I were stuck in this place! Buffet? Ha! What a joke. You want delicious salad? You'd be better off eating the grass outside. The place was very clean and had an amazing selection of pizza for the family. The only issue was the lettuce in the salad bar was brown. The staff was very friendly. We rented their party room for my daughter's birthday and received poor customer service. They treated the birthday girl and her friends (teenagers) as if they were a nuisance and refused to give their money back as previously promised. Instead gave them free buffet coupons, which they will never use because they will never go back. Very disappointed! read more

I do not recommend. The first time I came in it was fine, then the next time the employees were just very rude and then I had my birthday here because I love their pizza but the lady was confused and made me pay even though I already paid a deposit and instead of giving me my money back she gave me a free buffet card. Which I will not be going back there so it is not useful. They were very rude when I first arrived and tried to explain and then at the end when I asked for my money back a lady stuck her finger in my face. One guy was very very nice though. My home away from home in Springfield! I ended up here about once a week, usually with my radio show Co-Host after our show. The pizza is not the best, but it is cheap. There was a good turn over rate at this location where the pizza was always fresh and the lines not to long. Sometimes the kids could be annoying but we tended to go after the rush. $6 for all you can eat... and it's pizza! read more

Wow, this CiCi's got roughed up in reviews. CiCi's is busy, has a ton of kids running around or trashed from said kids having been there. It isn't a five star restaurant, but you aren't paying for that either. The pizza is okay, but not great. My favorite part is the cinnamon rolls. Place has been remodeled since my last visit but instead of things flowing smoother there is a lot more congestion around the buffet. They have added an entire room of pay to play games for kids. Rather crazy on a Saturday night with unsupervised children running amok. Their food is the same as always, okay for the price. When you walk into CiCi's pizza you always get a "Hi! welcome to CiCi's" in stereo from lots of employees. Except for tonight! Usually enjoy it here but tonight there is no attention to detail or the customer, the manager is allowing employees to continue to just visit and not help customers, when asked if a certain pizza is available, manger said "not right now", when ask when, "I don't know" and the pizza that is on the Buffett is all pepperoni or some variation thereof! The pizza here is not that good, to not have great customer service! The only reason for the second star was that the food that was on the bar was decent not great but decent. I hope it gets better or we will find somewhere else to have family pizza night! read more

However, the buffet is inexpensive, there is a reasonably good selection, and the staff is always ready to make a requested pizza to order. Loud, crowded, people were telling the servers that there was hair in the food - kids running all over. We had already paid but there was nowhere to sit, so we left. If you are looking for cheap and tasty pizza, look no farther. There is no where on earth you can get more food for under $5. Normally when you get cheap buffet pizza, it is low quality and under stocked. Not at CICis. The buffet is always full of a high variety of different unique pizzas. My favorites are the BBq chicken and the mac-n-cheese pizza. They also have a salad bar and an AMAZING selection of desserts. I definitely recommend bringing large groups here because it is so cheap and delicious! read more

Went here to see how it's changed. Not for the better! We arrived around 6 on a Friday. It was busy, but we thought that would mean fresh pizza. Well, just like before the remodel, after the previous manager left, they still can't even keep up with the salad bar let alone the pizza. First, while they still use hard plastic plates and bowls, they've switched to paper cups and throw away plastic ware, which I'm sure is party why the price went up. When we got there, 3 of 4 bottles of ranch dressing were empty and the 4th was almost gone. They've taken olives off the salad bar, but we were able to ask for some in a cup. The metal shaker for the bacon bits was not labeled. Later on, when things had died down a bit, the pizza bar was almost empty, like they just couldn't keep up. The tables are so close together, to pack you in like sardines, that it's difficult to get around. I really don't the Fire Marshal approved an occupancy of over 300! Very disappointed and will avoid going back. read more
