LOVED this place. The service of course was amazing and the staff was friendly and polite. We started the night with the Poblano Margarita and the Tamarind Margarita, both were very good. Followed by the empanadas, I could have eaten 10 of these! My hubby had the Lomo Saltado, he loved their take on this classic Peruvian Dish. I had the Cast Iron Chicken - I rarely eat chicken or meat and I was really impressed by it. We also tried the Stag's Leap Cabernet with dinner, it is made for the Four Seasons and it was perfect. My wife and I decided to dine at Ciclo for her birthday and were absolutely blown away at how amazing of an experience we had. Ell the server took great care of us and started us off with the best ceviche you can ever try, amazing empanadas, Al pastor quail (OMG the quail is a marvelous presentation), and the bread is crafted straight out of heaven. I asked the general manager Joe for a good Brunello Di Montalcino around the $150 range and he guided us towards the Casisano which was exactly what I was looking for medium bold, dry, Sangiovese grape with a little acidity and man did he knock it out of the park. That's not even the best part! We ordered the Wagyu Tomahawk and the chef comes out and sets the thing on fire with Tequila, like wow! Ell grabbed us 4 deserts that transported us to paradise and Joe came and offered us this delicious port wine to top off the night. To say my experience was amazing is an understatement! Super solid addition to the downtown lunch scene. Wasn't sure what to expect from a hotel restaurant, but really enjoyed my experience here. Service is super quick - got in and out of there in under 1 hour. I ordered the corn soup (thought it would be too heavy but it was actually done really well and a great way to start the meal) as well as the poke bowl. The poke was fresh and I liked the balance of rice / veggies. The dinner menu looks bigger but I thought lunch had good variety and is a great option for something relatively quick but still sit down! read more

NOT A FOUR SEASONS EXPERIENCE! We booked to have Thanksgiving dinner at Ciclo as we wanted a different experience for two. We had been to the Four Seasons a few years back for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful - last night was not! It was an expensive meal ($140 each + drinks) which we were fine with, but we expected an expensive meal with the Four Seasons experience for the price. Tables had no tablecloths or place mats, only a cloth napkin and a fork and knife. It was buffet, which we knew, but the food was not hot and nothing special for the cost... they were out of dressing on the line as we went through. It was very busy and felt chaotic - I think they overbooked and our reservation seating was about 30 minutes late. That said, our waiter was fabulous, but the food and ambiance completely spoiled our evening. We will not go back, at least on Thanksgiving....very disappointed. The brunch at Ciclo was great. The outdoor patio has a beautiful view of the river. There are many fresh brunch options to chose from including prime rib, huevos rancheros and seafood. Coffee or juice are included and mimosas and bloody Mary's were only $1. I believe brunch was $60 per adult. Definitely a nice place to enjoy brunch. read more

We were looking forward to eating here after a long absence. We knew it was no longer Trio, and had not been to Ciclo yet. Did not care for the industrial decor. There were only 3 other people in the restaurant at 5:30. Sat down to a dirty, sticky table. Waited for someone to come by even though it appeared they were staffed for dinner. Waited for water. No one came by to take a drink order from us. As we scanned the simple menu and waited and waited for service, we decided it would not be worth it. the prices are those of a higher end restaurant. The service was not. We left. We DID however go upstairs to the bar area, found a table with a view, and had immediate service. The kind you expect from the Four Seasons. Friendly attentive staff. Great bar offerings for food. Definitely made the right call. read more

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and all I can say is wow! The food was outstanding. We sat on the beautiful and comfortable patio. We started off with some drinks and the seasonal salmon tostada- it was delicious! For our entree's we got the scallops & pork belly and the filet. This was the best filet I have ever had- and I have had my fair share of filets. The scallops and pork belly was very tasty as well! They ended our night with an amazing dessert spread for our anniversary and our wonderful server Denis offered to take some pictures afterwards. Ciclo was the best meal we had while on our trip to Austin awhile back! It was phenomenal! So understated. Walking in, the restaurant is very elegant, yet casual, with a gorgeous view of the Four Seasons hotel grounds and the river. Everyone from the hostess to the manager Joe, were incredibly friendly. Our server Nick did an amazing job and took such good care of us. He even treated us to some yummy corn empanadas which was so sweet and he was right, they were incredible! The food was heavenly! We started with their fluffy marshmallowy "melt in your mouth" rolls with honey and butter. Then we split the filet with it's "garlic crack" as I liked to call it *drool* (a big clove of sweet roasted garlic you can squeeze into your steak) and the sea bass, per the server's recommendation. For sides (everything comes pretty a la carte) we got the crunchy Brussels sprouts, insane mashed potatoes, and the orange cauliflower. I'm not a usually a cauliflower person but it was another recommendation and ended up being the shining star of the sides. That said, everything was beyond delicious. We were too stuffed to get dessert but Nick spoiled us again and brought out 4 amazing ice cream bon bons floating on what looked like a smoke lake. It was so beautiful... it could have been art! It was a perfect way to cap off a flawless dining experience and just enough of a sweet finish without making me explode from over indulgence. Oh and don't let me forget to mention the delicious bitter sweet dessert wine the manager brought us to enjoy with the bon bons. We felt like royalty! I've never been treated like I was so special at a restaurant before, not even on my birthday! Lol! We will definitely be back next time we are in town! read more

Our dinner at Ciclo was great, I went in not knowing too much about the restaurant but was blown away by everything we got. The presentation of the food was really nice ass well. I almost always get the Lomo Saltado if it's on the menu so of course I had to get it here and I was not disappointed. I came here with my son for a nice dinner to celebrate his birthday. Our party of three was seated immediately with a view of Lady bird lake. Our server, Dennis, was amazing! His menu and wine knowledge was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable birthday celebration. All of our meals were exquisite and the chief came out and asked us how we were enjoying everything! He really wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our meals. Our server was Meghan. She was thoughtful, friendly and truly interested in making every facet of the evening, from drinks to appetizers to dinner selections to desserts a pleasurable experience. She thoroughly explained our options and the origins and flavors of all. She was attentive the entire evening. The food was spectacular, the bartender personally visited our table before creating one of the drinks with a helpful suggestion. We had a variety of starters, entrees ranging from fish to beef and 3 different desserts, all presented artistically and prepared to wow even the most seasoned, well traveled diner. Incomparable! We come to breakfast a few times a year and this was our first time in the new restaurant. I would say there are pros and cons. Pros are that the same servers are there and are excellent as always (esp the brothers from Mexico!). Natural beauty of the outside always a plus. The menu for breakfast was good, but a little bland. It was missing some local flavor that it used to have and they definitely need to bring the waffles back! I hope that this is just temporary but that godawful black staircase is a blight on the view and the white spots underneath look like bird poop. They shouldn't in good conscience seat anyone near that thing until it's painted or fixed up. A light brown or something would make it better - right now it's an eyesore and absolutely ruins the tables outside near it. read more

This is the new hotel restaurant that replaced Trio. It has more outdoor seating, and has a Latin spin on the the menu. The gingerbread display in the lobby was half as big as in years past- quite disappointing - maybe because the hotel has been preoccupied with renovations. We were there for a group holiday dinner with two other families and the server was very patient with our kids. I know the four seasons is not cheap but always used to love going there for a special occasion and felt like they took care of their guests.. This has now become one of those places that tries to upsell constantly. Keep a few things in mind if you go to this restaurant- 1. Speak up right away if you don't want expensive bottled water. They will only offer "sparkling or still" so let them know if you want tap water. 2. The food is outrageously expensive. I was embarrassed that I had suggested this place to my friends because the portions were so tiny for the price. I had the lomo Saltado which included four one-inch cubes of beef drenched in a super salty soy sauce. 3. Be prepared for them to offer you some Parker house bread rolls - they are delicious but NOT complimentary. 4. If you have a group, they will automatically include a very generous large group gratuity, but will not tell you it's been added to the bill and then will pressure you several times to add a tip at the end of the meal. read more
